2 Linking the access system to the mobile app
Note:
The Tuya user account under which the access system is registered is the super administrator member.

  1. Install the mobile app Tuya “Smart Life – Smart Living” and create a Tuya account.

  2. Connect the access system to the power supply.
    → The Wi-Fi module of the access system starts up.

  3. Connect the mobile device to the same Wi-Fi network and frequency (2.4 GHz only) to which the access system is connected.

  4. In the mobile app, follow the in-app instructions to add the access system as a new device.

Member management

3.1 Member types (user types)
The administrator can authorize or restrict functions for different member types. Every user is managed by an administrator.
Note:
The Tuya user account under which the access system is registered is the super administrator member.
The super administrator has higher privileges than an administrator.

3.2 Adding members
As an administrator you can add other administrator members and ordinary members. Every member is added with a member profile for individual management.

Note:
– Max. members: 500
– The Tuya user account under which the access system is registered is the super administrator member.
The super administrator has higher privileges than an administrator.

Activate the switch Administrator to make a member an adminstrator member.
Deactivate the switch Administrator to make a member an ordinary member.

Managing authentication

4.1 Enabling mobile app unlocking
You can allow members to unlock the access system via the unlock button in the mobile app.
To enable:

  1. Touch Settings.
  2. Activate the Remote unlock setting to allow users to unlock via the mobile app.
  3. Touch and hold the unlock button to unlock the access system.

4.2 Register authentication methods (fingerprints, PINs, transponders)
Register authentication methods (fingerprints, PINs, transponders) for individual members via their member profile.

  1. Tap the member to open the member profile.
  2. Tap Add and register the authentication method.

4.3 Removing authentication methods (fingerprints, PINs, transponders)
Remove individual authentication methods (fingerprints, PINs, transponders) from a member via their member profile.

  1. Tap the member to open the member profile.
  2. Tap the authentication method you want to remove.
  3. Follow the on-screen instructions to remove the authentication method for the member.

4.4 Generating temporary PINs
By generating temporary PINs you can allow non-registered members to unlock the access system. You can generate two types of temporary PINs:
Cyclic: PINs that are valid during a schedule (example: daily, 15:00 – 16:00)
Once: one-time PINs that are valid for 6 hours. One-time PINs are invalid after they are used once.

To generate temporary PINs:

  1. Tap the Add temporary code.
  2. Select the PIN type (cyclic, once).
  3. Configure and save the PIN.
  4. Share the PIN with the non-registered member.
  5. (Optional) Update or delete the PIN as necessary.

Disabling a PIN
Delete a generated PIN anytime to immediately disable it and make it permanently unusable.

Viewing access and alarm logs

Note:
Regular members cannot view logs.

Emergency: Disabling mobile app unlocking

Via the remote unlock setting you can immediately deactivate remote unlocking via the mobile app for all members.

  1. Touch Settings.
  2. Deactivate the switch Remote unlocking setting to disable unlocking via the mobile app for all members.

Unlinking the acess system from the Tuya account

To unlink the access system from the Tuya account (the super administrator), you must reset the Wi-Fi connection via the keypad of the access system.
Important:
Removing the access system from the mobile app will not remove the registered authentication methods of individual members.
Authentication methods for individual members will continue to work until the access system is unregistered from the Tuya account.

To reset the Wi-Fi connection:

  1. Access the keypad of the access system.
  2. Activate Wi-Fi resetting by entering ***** (Master code) **#** on the keypad.
  3. Confirm to reset the Wi-Fi connection by entering **9** (Master code) **#**on the keypad.
    → The Wi-Fi connection is reset.
    → The Tuya account is unlinked from the access system.
