Product Usage Instructions

Initial Setup

  1. Place the air roaster on a flat, stable surface.
  2. Ensure the unit is unplugged before proceeding.

Operating Instructions

  1. Open the lid and place the ingredients inside.
  2. Close the lid securely.
  3. Select the desired temperature and time settings.
  4. Press the power button to start the roasting process.
  5. Monitor the cooking progress through the transparent lid.
  6. Once cooking is complete, carefully open the lid and remove the food.

Cleaning and Maintenance
After each use, ensure the air roaster has cooled down before cleaning. Wipe the interior and exterior surfaces with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the unit in water or use abrasive cleaners.

This appliance is designed for use in domestic and similar applications, in particular:

  • in personnel kitchen zones at stores, offices and industrial facilities;
  • at agricultural farms;
  • by clients at hotels, motels and other residential facilities;
  • in private boarding houses.

PURPOSE OF THE APPLIANCE : for cooking food using hot air streams.

SAFETY PRECAUTIONS

Please strictly observe the following instructions to avoid situations potentially hazardous for human life and health, as well as damage and premature failure of the appliance:

  1. Never immerse the power cord, power plug or appliance housing in water, nor wash it under a tap when cleaning in order to avoid damage or the risk of an accident.
  2. Avoid the ingress of liquids into the appliance to prevent electric shock or short circuit.
  3. Do not obstruct the air intakes and outlets when the appliance is in operation.
  4. Ensure that the power supply voltage indicated on the appliance corresponds to your household power grid voltag.
  5. Before operating the appliance, please check the appliance’s power cord and the accessories for damage.
  6. Do not allow the power cord to hang over the sharp edge of a tabletop.
  7. Do not plug the appliance in or touch the control panel with wet hands.
  8. Do not place or operate the appliance on, or near, combustible materials, such as tablecloths, curtains or tapestries, to prevent the occurrence of a fire.
  9. The temperature inside the bowl will be high during appliance operation, so please, do not place plastic containers, vessels or protective foil into the bowl.
  10. Please place the appliance on a level and stable surface during operation. Do not place it on plastic, wooden or any other surfaces prone to thermal deterioration.
  11. Do not place the appliance directly at a wall or close to other objects, always leave a gap of approx. 10 cm.
  12. Do not place anything on the top of the appliance.
  13. Hot steam will be discharged from the back side of the appliance during cooking with the appliance. Please keep your face and hands at a safe distance from the steam and air outlets. Also please beware of hot steam and air when removing the bowl.
  14. If the cooking time is set too long the food may be burned and smoke may emerge from the air outlet. Immediately pull the plug from the electric socket and clean the glass bowl of food residue and oil.
  15. After using the appliance please press the ON/OFF button, then pull the plug from the electric socket; avoid pulling on the power cord itself.
  16. Store the appliance and its power cord in a place inaccessible by children.
  17. Always disconnect the appliance from power supply when it is not in use or before cleaning. First allow the appliance to cool down and then proceed to cleaning it.
  18. Do not use accessories other than those supplied by authorized manufacturers.
  19. This appliance is designed for domestic use only. Do not use the appliance outdoors.
  20. Disconnect the appliance from power supply when it is not in use. In case of power cord damage it should be replaced, to avoid dangerous situations, by the Manufacturer, a service centre or similar skilled personnel.
  21. This appliance should not used by persons (including children) with limited physical, sensory or mental abilities, or with insufficient knowledge or experience, except under the supervision of a person responsible for their safety or when they have been informed of and instructed in the use of the appliance by such a person.
  22. The appliance is not designed to be powered from an external timer or any other remote power control system.
  23. Use only the proper connector with the appliance.
  24. Special transportation (shipment) and sale instructions: none.
  25. Should you intend to transfer the appliance to another person, please turn the present manual over together with it.

OPERATING PROCEDURE

PREPARATION FOR USE

If the appliance has been transported or stored at low ambient temperatures, it should be kept at room temperature for at least 2 hours before turning it on. Carefully unpack the appliance, remove all packaging materials. Wipe the appliance’s housing with a damp cloth, and then wipe it dry. Rinse the grille and the silicon mitt/underlay and wipe them dry. Ensure that there are no visible defects. An unpleasant smell and some smoke may emerge during the first use of the appliance – this is normal and safe. It is recommended to heat the convection oven up at 180 ⁰С for 10 minutes.

USING THE APPLIANCE
  1. Place the appliance on a level and smooth surface.
  2. Place the grille inside the bowl.
  3. Place the bowl inside the appliance. The bowl should be installed in a proper way. If the bowl is not completely seated inside the housing the convection oven will not work and “—“ will appear on the display. This is controlled by a special sensor switch (Fig. 1).
  4. Connect the convection oven to power supply. An audio signal will be emitted, all indicators on the display will go on and off again, except for the ON/OFF button. Press it and the appliance will enter the standby mode. All buttons will be active in standby mode, except for the , “-“ and “+” buttons.
  5. Select the desired preset program by pressing the relevant icon. Then press the ON/OFF button. In order to change the preset parameters press the button, select the parameter (temperature/time) and set the desired values using the “-“ and “+” buttons.
  6. The temperature adjustment increment is 5 °С. The time adjustment increment is 1 minute. Hold down the “-“/”+” buttons to quickly adjust the values.
  7. To start cooking press ON/OFF button. The temperature and time parameters will be shown on the display during the cooking operation.
  8. At the end of the cooking program an audio signal will sound and the convection oven will shut down. The OFF message will appear on the display.
  9. The fan will continue running for 1 minute to cool the appliance down. Pull the bowl out by its handle.
  10. Press the ON/OFF button. Disconnect the appliance from power supply.

NOTE : turn the food over from time to time during oven operation for more uniform cooking.

PAUSE MODE

Pull the bowl from the convection oven during operation to enter the pause mode. In this case all buttons will be locked, except for the PN/OFF button. Place the bowl back into the oven to resume operation, the cooking cycle will continue.

TEMPERTURE AND TIME SETTING TABLE

NOTE : the larger the portion of fried chicken or other foods to be cooked, the longer the time and the higher the temperature will be required for cooking, depending on the specific situation.

MAINTENANCE

  • By all means wash the bowl and grille every time after each use.
  • Before cleaning disconnect the appliance from power supply and let it cool down. Do not immerse the convection oven and its power cord in water or any other liquid.
  • Do not use abrasive detergents or materials for cleaning. Wipe the appliance’s housing with a slightly dampened cloth and wipe it dry.
  • Wash the bowl and grille in water with mild detergent. Wipe the parts dry.
  • In case of severe contamination fill the bowl with hot water with mild detergent and leave it for some time. Then rinse the bowl carefully.
  • Do not wash the bowl, grille and the silicone mitt in a dishwasher.

TROUBLESHOOTING

Upon expiry of its service life, the appliance can be disposed of separately from ordinary domestic waste. You can turn it over to a specialized electric and electronic appliance disposal and recycling center.

The service life of this item is 5 years from the date of sale to the end user, provided the item will be used in strict accordance with the present manual and the applicable technical standards. Upon expiry of the service life please contact the nearest authorized service center for suggestions as to the further operation of the appliance. The manufacturing date of the appliance is integrated into the serial number (digits 2 and 3 – year, digits 4 and 5 – month of manufacture).

The guarantee period for all appliances amounts to 12 months since the date of sale to the end consumer. With this Warranty Card the Manufacturer confirms the proper condition of the appliance and undertakes to repair, free of charge, all defects caused by the Manufacturer’s default.

GUARANTEE MAINTENANCE TERMS

  1. The guarantee shall be valid if the following documentation conditions are observed:
    • The original Warranty Card shall be filled out correctly and clearly, indicating the of appliance model, serial number and sale date, the stamp of the seller company and signature of its representative shall be available, as well as the stamps on each coupon and the buyer’s signature in the Warranty Card.
    • The Manufacturer reserves the right to reject guarantee maintenance if the buyer fails to provide the abovementioned documents or if the information contained therein is incomplete, illegible or ambiguous.
  2. The guarantee shall be valid if the following operation conditions are observed:
    • the appliance is used in strict accordance with the present manual;
    • the safety rules and requirements are observed.
  3. The guarantee does not apply to regular maintenance, cleaning, installation and setup of the appliance at the owner’s location.
  4. The guarantee does not apply in the following cases:
    • mechanical damage;
    • normal wear of the appliance;
    • non-observance of operation requirements or erroneous actions on the part of the user;
    • improper installation or transportation;
    • natural disasters (lightning, fire, flood, etc.), as well as any other causes beyond the Manufacturer’s or Seller’s control;
    • ingress of foreign objects, liquids or insects into the inside of the appliance;
    • repairs or modifications to the appliance by unauthorized persons;
    • use of the appliance for commercial purposes (loads exceeding normal domestic application), connection of the appliance to utility and telecommunication networks incompliant with national technical standards;
    • failure of the following accessories, if replacement of these is allowed by design and does not involve disassembly of the appliance:
    • remote control units, rechargeable batteries, replaceable batteries (power cells), external power supply units and chargers;
    • consumables and accessories (packaging, covers, slings, carry bags, mesh screens, blades, flasks, plates, supports, grilles, spits, hoses, tubes, brushes, nozzles, dust collectors, filters, smell absorbers);
    • for battery-powered appliances – operation with inappropriate or depleted batteries;
    • for rechargeable battery-powered appliances – any damage caused by improper battery charging and recharging.
  5. The present guarantee is provided by the Manufacturer in addition to the consumer rights determined by the applicable legislation and does not limit these rights in any way.
  6. The Manufacturer shall not be made liable for possible damage, directly or indirectly inflicted by CENTEK brand products on people, domestic animals, the consumer’s or third persons’ property if such damage is inflicted as the result of non-observance of appliance installation and operation requirements, deliberate or negligent actions (omission) by the consumer or third persons, as well as of force majeure circumstances.
  7. Service centers will only accept appliances in a clean state (there should be no food residues, dust and other contamination on the appliance).

The Manufacturer reserves the right to change the design and specifications of the appliance without prior notice.

FAQ’s

Q: What is the recommended temperature for roasting?
A: The recommended temperature range for roasting is between 150-190°C.

Q: How do I know when the cooking cycle is complete?
A: The air roaster will automatically shut off at the end of the set cooking time. You can also check visually through the transparent lid.
