SETUP INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Follow the instructions on the screen to add the camera to your device list.

CAMERA CHARGING

Please fully charge the camera before first use. It takes about 6 hours to charge the camera.

  1. 5V USB Charger

S1 Outdoor Camera is equipped with a solar panel featuring an advanced sun- powered tracking system*. This innovative system efficiently converts sunlight into electrical energy, ensuring the battery is continuously charged. Should the battery level drop, it typically results from limited sunlight or increased power usage. There’s no need for manual cable charging unless you receive a low battery alert.

*The solar panel, equipped with Baseus Security’s patented sun-powered tracking system, rotates to maximize sunlight absorption. To ensure safety and functionality, maintain adequate space around the panel at all times, preventing contact or collisions with nearby objects during its operation.

CAMERA INSTALLATION

  1. Choose a location where you can get the ideal viewing angle. We recommend to mount the camera 7-10 feet (2-3 meters) above the ground.
    Recommended installation area:

    • exterior wall without eaves;
    • over the eaves, under 10 feet(3 meters);
    • any poles or fences where the sunlight is not blocked.
  2. Turn the knob of the mounting bracket counterclockwise to loosen and remove it.

  3. Drill holes with a 15/64-inch (6 mm) drill bit and insert expansion bolts into the holes; using expansion bolts is necessary for walls made of hard materials such as concrete, brick, or stucco.

  4. Screw the knob of the mounting bracket firmly into the mounting hole.

  5. Hold and screw the camera onto the mounting bracket.
    Rotate the camera to adjust the viewing angle and check the footage with the live stream in the Baseus Security APP.

*For troubleshooting, check out the help in the Baseus Security APP. See the application page for LED indicator status.
