95656 Black USB Fan Controller
The Aqua Computer D5 pump is a circulation pump for PC water cooling systems.
The supply voltage may vary from 8 to 24 volts DC, the pump is equipped with a
standard power plug for connection to the PC’s PSU. The pump speed can be
adjusted using a built in control knob. The integrated electronic control
board guarantees a reliable start up even for low speed settings.
The pump is equipped with overheat protection that will will first reduce the
pump speed if the temperature rises to a critical level. If the temperature
still rises further, the pump will be shut down completely. After cooling
down, the pump will resume operation automatically.
For monitoring purposes, the pump generates a speed signal.
However, a valid speed signal cannot guarantee an actual flow of coolant!
Allowed mounting orientations
During operation, the pump’s rotor must be positioned to the top or to the side in relation to the control knob. The rotor must not face down during operation!
Compatible Coolants
This product must be used used with Double Protect Ultra coolant or water. In
particular, this product must not be used with coolants containing solid micro
particles! Solid micro particles contained in various non-transparent/opaque
coolants cause damage to the D5 pump bearing!
Initial operation
Fill the system with coolant and then start the pump by connecting the power
plug to the PC’s PSU. Deoerate the system by gentle swaying or powering the
pump down and up again for several times until no rattling noises can be
perceived any more. The pump must not run dry for longer periods of time!
