Introduction

KIS (Kiloview Intercom Server) mainly solves the problem of multi-user real- time voice communication, users can login the KIS platform through web browser(Chrome, Edge, safari)or device, QR code. KIS supports multi-user real- time voice communication by a common mixer algorithm even on low performance servers.

  • Supported models: All Kiloview encoders and decoders.
  • For undiscovered devices, it can be added to the list manually.
  • Device update link: www.kiloview.com/en/support/download/.
  • All devices currently only support intercom by using a USB headset connection.

KIS (Kiloview Intercom Server) Login

Login to Kiloview Intercom Server by https://server IP:443 in the web browser, both the username and password is admin.

Note

  • For information security, it is recommended to change the password after login for the first time.
  • The default login port for Kiloview Intercom Server (KIS) is 443.

Authorization

After login, it will be prompted to authorize and show the remaining period of usage.

Enter the authorization page after clicking Authorize Now, and send device code to Kiloview sales staff to get authorization code. Filling in in the authorization code and click OK to complete the authorization. Click the arrow in the left upper corner and back to the dashboard.

Introduction

  • Device Code:The Device Code is an identification code generated by the program based on the hardware information of the server, which is unique.
  • Authorization Code:The authorization code is generated one-to-one based on the Device Code, so it is exclusive.

User Management

User Management Interface
Enter the Web page, you can see the navigation bar on the right, including the functions: Mute All(on/off), language switching, refresh, members and user management center.

  • Language Switch:Click the language switch in the upper right corner to switch the language version. English and Chinese are supported currently;
  • Refresh:Update the device status and the number of users or devices;
  • Mute all:It supports turning on/off all microphones.

User management
In the user management, the administrator account can control each device or user individually. The following is the functions:

  1. The administrator can control the volume of a single user or device and turn on/off the microphone of a user.
  2. The administrator can kick out a user or device. If the kicked user or device needs to log in again, the account needs to be enabled in the user management.
  3. All users can display user details by clicking on the username.

Member management

Member management supports the distinction between ordinary users and management users, which are divided into user management and device management.

User Management
In the user list, you can view all existing users, user information, and enable/disable users.

After clicking “Add User”, there will be a list of information to be filled in, * means required to fill, the rest are optional. All Information will be displayed in the Web UI. Click OK to complete the adding.

User Name: The username is the account number.
Role: You can choose the account permission, which is divided into two types: administrators and users.

Device management
In the user list, you can view all existing users, user information, and the enabled/disabled devices.

After clicking Add Device, there will be a list of information to be filled in, * means required to fill, the rest are optional and the information will be displayed in the management web UI at the same time. Click OK to complete the creation

Introduction

  • Serial Number:The serial number should match authorization code, otherwise the connection will be failed.
  • Enable/Disable:Enable/disable the user or device. It cannot login after disabled, unless enabled.

User Center

The user center supports authorization services, personal information changes, user password changes, and information of the current version.

  1. Authorizaiton service:Click the authorization service to view the Device Code and get a license;
  2. Personal center:Click and enter into the personal center to modify the basic information;
  3. Change password:Click to change password, follow the prompts to enter the new password twice, and click OK to complete;
  4. About:Click “About” to view the current version number and supported devices/users connections;
  5. Logout:Click “Logout” to return to the login interface.

Join voice intercom

Join voice intercom on the device
To join the voice intercom on the device, you need to update the firmware to the latest version and complete the authorization at the same time.

  1. Add a device on the servers and get the authorization code of the device.

  1. Login to devices and turn on the voice intercom function.

  1. Right Click + and select the call server in the drop-down box and fill in the IP address as well as authorization code. Then find the voice intercom server to connect, click, the device and KIS server are connected successfully.

User join in the voice intercom
After creating a new user, use the account to log in to the KIS server (http://serverIP:443) in a web browser (chrome, edge, safari) to join the voice intercom.

Users can also login by a QR code. After creating a user, the user list will generate a QR code, which can be scanned to log in.
