Installation Instructions
- Pass fixture wires through short threaded tubes and stems, and screw stems together.
- Pass wires through the swivel and into the canopy, and secure the swivel to the last stem.
- Cut wires at least 6 inches from the top edge of the canopy.
- Attach the mounting strap to the outlet box using the provided screws.
- Ground the fixture following the provided instructions (a or b).
- Make wire connections based on the provided chart for correct connections.
- Raise the canopy to the ceiling, passing mounting screws through mounting screw holes in the canopy.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
NOTE: Thread locking compound must be applied to threads as noted with (4) symbol to prevent accidental rotation of fixture during cleaning, relamping, etc.
- Pass fixture wires from a coupling on the main body[K] through the desired number of short threaded tubes[J] and stems[I]. Screw stems together using short threaded tubes.
- Screw the first step into the coupling.
- NOTE: A minimum of one (1) 6-inch stem must be used when mounting the fixture.
- Pass fixture wires from the last stem through the end of the swivel[H] and into the canopy[E]. Thread the end of the swivel into the end of the last stem. Note the direction of the swivel under the ceiling.
- Cut fixture wires a MINIMUM of 6 inches from the top edge of the canopy.
- Find the appropriate threaded holes on the mounting strap[C] that align with the hole distance in the canopy. Assemble mounting screws[D] into threaded holes starting from the outlet box side.
- Attach the mounting strap to the outlet box[A] using the supplied strap mounting screws[B]. The mounting strap can be adjusted to suit the position of the fixture.
- Grounding instructions: (See Illus. a or b).
- a. On fixtures where the mounting strap is provided with a hole and two raised dimples, wrap ground wire from the outlet box around a green ground screw, and thread it into the hole.
- b. On fixtures where a cupped washer is provided, attach the ground wire from the outlet box under the cupped washer and a green ground screw, and thread it into the mounting strap.
- If the fixture is provided with ground wire, connect the fixture ground wire to the outlet box ground wire with the wire connector after following the above steps. Never connect ground wire to black or white power supply wires.
- Make wire connections. Reference the chart below for correct connections and wire accordingly.

*Note: When parallel wire (SPT 1 & SPT 2) is used. The neutral wire is square shaped or ridged and the other wire will be round in shape or smooth (See illus.)| - Raise the canopy to the ceiling, carefully passing mounting screws through mounting screw holes in the canopy.
- NOTE: Be certain wires do not get pinched between the mounting strap and canopy or canopy and ceiling.
- While holding the canopy in place, use lock washers[F] and knobs[G] to secure the canopy. Tighten to secure.
- Carefully raise the glass shade[M] to the fixture. Make sure the glass shade is fully seated at the bottom of the main body.
- While holding the glass shade in place, screw three (3) thumbscrews[L] into the threaded holes in the main body, and carefully tighten thumbscrews against the glass shade to secure the glass shade in place. DO NOT OVER-TIGHTEN.
- Insert recommended bulb(s). (Not supplied).
- NOTE: Turn the on/off switch clockwise to switch the light on/off.
