CARES WHEN OPERATING YOUR LAWN MOWER

  • CAREFULLY INSPECT THE LAWN MOWER AND AREA WHERE THE EQUIPMENT WILL BE USED. CLEAR THE AREA OF OBJECTS LIKE STONES, TOYS, YARNS, BONES, STICKS, ETC. THAT CAN BE PICKED UP AND THROWN BY THE BLADE;

  • DO NOT PUT YOUR HANDS OR FEET NEAR OR UNDER ROTATING PARTS. KEEP AWAY FROM THE DISCHARGE OPENING ALWAYS;

  • NEVER TAKE OR TRANSPORT A LAWN MOWER WHILE IT IS OPERATING;

  • DO NOT OPERATE THE LAWN MOWER WITHOUT PROPER COVERS, PLATES, GRASS CATCHER, OR OTHER PROTECTIVE AND SAFETY DEVICES ON SITE;

  • OPERATE WITH UPRIGHT POSTURE. MAINTAIN PROPER SUPPORT AND BALANCE AT ALL TIMES

  • TURN OFF THE ENGINE WHENEVER YOU LEAVE THE MACHINE ALONE, BEFORE CLEANING THE CUTTER OR UNCLOGGING THE BLADE;

  • ONLY WORK IN DAYLIGHT OR WITH GOOD LIGHTING;

  • DO NOT OPERATE THE CUTTER UNDER THE INFLUENCE OF ALCOHOL, DRUGS OR OTHER MEDICINES THAT MAY CAUSE DROWSINESS OR AFFECT ITS ABILITY TO OPERATE THE MACHINE SAFELY;

  • MAKE SURE YOU ARE PROPERLY FITTED, HOLD FIRMLY ON THE HANDLE, AND NEVER RUN WHEN OPERATING THE LAWN MOWER;

  • IF THE EQUIPMENT STARTS TO VIBRATE ABNORMALLY, STOP THE ENGINE AND IMMEDIATELY CHECK THE CAUSE;

  • NEVER REMOVE THE DECALS THAT COME WITH THE PRODUCT;

  • GRASS CATCHER BAGS ARE SUBJECT TO WEAR OUT, DAMAGE AND DETERIORATION, WHICH MAY EXPOSE MOVING PARTS OR ALLOW OBJECTS TO BE THROWN. CHECK FREQUENTLY. WHEN STORING THE EQUIPMENT, ALWAYS MAKE SURE THAT THE GRASS CATCHER IS EMPTY;

  • USING PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT IS VERY IMPORTANT FOR SAFE WORK;

  • DO NOT OPERATE IN WET AREAS OR UNDER RAIN;

  • DO NOT CUT IN REVERSE;

  • ALWAYS DESCONECT DE POWER CABLE BEFORE CLEANING DEBRIS FROM THE BLADE, AND BEFORE CHECKING, CLEANING, OR WORKING WITH THE LAWN MOWER;

  • ALWAYS KEEP NEAR THE NECESSARY TOOLS FOR PERIODIC CHECKS OR MAINTENANCE;

  • KEEP FEET AND HANDS AWAY FROM THE CUTTING BLADE WHEN OPERATING;

  • DO NOT OPERATE ON A SLOPE HIGHER THAN 15 DEGREES;

  • NEVER WEAR WIDE CLOTHING, SHORTS, OPEN SHOES, LOOSE HAIR, ETC. ALWAYS USE THE RECOMMENDED PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT

  • PAY ATTENTION TO WEAR OF PARTS. IF THERE IS ANY ABNORMALITY OF THE MACHINE, STOP THE OPERATION IMMEDIATELY AND CHECK THE MACHINE WITH CARE. TAKE THE MACHINE TO AN AUTHORIZED DEALER IF NECESSARY. NEVER OPERATE A MACHINE THAT IS NOT WORKING PROPERLY

  • ALWAYS MAKE SURE TO INCLUDE THIS MANUAL WHEN SELLING, LENDING, OR TRANSFERRING OWNERSHIP OF THIS PRODUCT;

USING THE BLADE

  • THE BLADE HAS EDGES AND CAN CAUSE ACCIDENTS, ALWAYS USE GLOVES;

  • ALWAYS KEEP THE BLADE SET SCREW SECURELY IN PLACE;

  • THE VIBRATION IS THE RESULT OF A BLADE THAT IS NOT PROPERLY BALANCED;

  • DO NOT SHARPEN THE BLADE WHILE IT IS MOUNTED ON THE MACHINE;

  • TO CLEAN THE BLADE USE SOAP, WATER AND A BRUSH;

USING THE CUTTING BLADE

  • IF THE BLADE IS WARPED, CRACKED, CRUMPLED OR OTHERWISE DAMAGED, REPLACE IT;

  • USE A FILE TO SHARPEN THE BLADE, ENSURING THAT BOTH SIDES ARE SHARPENED THE SAME;

  • MAKE SURE THE BLADE IS BALANCED. USE A SCREWDRIVER AND KEEP THE BLADE PARALLEL TO THE HORIZONTAL PLANE. THE BALANCED BLADE WILL BE PARALLEL TO THE GROUND, OTHERWISE THE HEAVY SIDE WILL ROTATE TOWARD THE GROUND. SHARPEN THE HEAVY SIDE UNTIL THE BLADE IS BALANCED;

INSPECTION BEFORE OPERATING

  • CHECK FOR SIGNS OF MALFUNCTION;

  • IF THE POWER CABLE IS DAMAGED, IT MUST BE REPLACED BY THE MANUFACTURER OR AUTHORIZED AGENT OR QUALIFIED PERSON TO AVOID RISK;

  • ACCORDING TO BRAZILIAN STANDARDS, IT IS NECESSARY TO INSTALL A RESIDUAL CURRENT DEVICE IN ELECTRICAL INSTALLATIONS. THE DEVICE PROTECTS THE USER AGAINST THE RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK, WITH A CURRENT OF 30 MA. CONSULT AN ELECTRICIAN AND CHECK WHETHER YOUR ELECTRICAL INSTALLATION HAS THIS TYPE OF PROTECTION.

  • CHECK THE VOLTAGE AND FREQUENCY ON THE RATING PLATE FIXED TO THE POWER CORD OR ON THE PRODUCT NAMEPLATE;

WARNING

MAKE PERIODIC INSPECTIONS TO ENSURE SAFE AND EFFICIENT OPERATION / FOR A COMPLETE INSPECTION OF OUR MACHINE, PLEASE CONTACT A DEALER

  • CHECK THE CONDITION OF THE BLADE;

WARNING

PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE ENSURES PERFECT OPERATION AND LONGER ENGINE LIFE.

MOWER ASSEMBLY

  • FIT THE TWO LOWER RODS INTO THE BODY OF THE LAWN MOWER;

  • FIT THE UPPER ROD INTO THE LOWER ONES. MAKE SURE THE HOLES ARE ALIGNED AND SECURE THE ASSEMBLY USING WING NUTS AND SCREWS. TIGHTEN THE NUTS;

  • MOUNT THE DRIVE SWITCH ON THE TOP ROD. MAKE SURE THE SWITCH IS PROPERLY FITED;

  • SECURE THE ELECTRICAL CORD WITH CLAMPS;

  • PLACE AND TIGHTEN THE SCREWS ON BOTH LOWER RODS;

  • INSERT THE HANDLE INTO THE SLOTS ON THE PICK-UP AND TIGHTEN TO LOCK IT;

  • MOUNT THE BAG ON THE COLLECTOR;

  • RAISE THE PROTECTIVE COVER, ALIGN THE COLLECTOR COUPLINGS AND TIGHTEN;

WARNING

POORLY FASTENED HANDLE CAN CAUSE ACCIDENTS / WHEN SHORTENING OR LENGTHENING THE HANDLE, BE CAREFUL NOT TO DAMAGE THE CABLES / THE CABLE BEND WILL NOT WORK CORRECTLY.

USING THE LAWNMOVER WITH THE GRASS CATCHER BAG

  • LIFT THE BACK COVER FIXED ON THE CUTTER;

  • INSERT THE GRASS CATCHER BAG, FITTING IT CORRECTLY INTO THE LAWN MOWER;

  • GENTLY RELEASE THE BACK COVER OVER THE GRASS CATCHER BAG;

WARNING

BEFORE OPERATING THE LAWN MOWER, MAKE SURE THE GRASS CATCHER BAG IS FIT PROPERLY/ VERIFY IF PURCHASED MODEL IS EQUIPPED WITH THE GRASS CATCHER BAG .

ADJUSTING THE CUTTING HEIGHT

  • CHOOSE THE HEIGHT BEFORE START THE WORK;

  • ADJUST THE HEIGHT OF ONE OF THE PAIRS OF WHEELS ACCORDING TO THE DESIRED CUTTING HEIGHT

  • ADJUST THE HEIGHT OF THE OTHER PAIR OF WHEELS;

WARNING

MAKE SURE BOTH SIDES OF THE SHOFT ARE AT THE SAME HEIGHT.

OPERATING THE EQUIPMENT

  • BEFORE USING THE MACHINE, CONSULT THE SAFETY STANDARDS AND USE THE RECOMMENDED SAFETY EQUIPMENT;

  • WITH THE EQUIPMENT TURNED OFF AND THE ELECTRICAL CORD REMOVED FROM THE SOCKET, ADJUST THE CUTTING HEIGHT. MAKE SURE BOTH SIDES OF THE SHAFT ARE AT THE SAME HEIGHT.

  • CONNECT THE MACHINE’S ELECTRICAL CORD TO THE EXTENSION CORD. MAKE A LOOP OF APPROXIMATELY 30 CM IN THE ELECTRICAL CORD AND ATTACH IT TO THE SWITCH BOX SUPPORT;

  • POSITION YOURSELF BEHIND THE LAWN MOWER;

WARNING

THE CUTTING BLADE WILL ROTATE WHEN THE ENGINE IS STARTED / NEVER PLACE YOUR FEET OR HANDS UNDER THE MOWER.

  • TO OPERATE THE MACHINE, PRESS THE SWITCH SAFETY LOCK (1) AND, WITH IT PRESSED, ACTIVATE THE SWITCH (2), HOLDING IT UNTIL THE END OF THE OPERATION;

  • TO TURN OFF THE MACHINE, RELEASE THE SWITCH AND WAIT FOR A FEW SECONDS UNTIL THE BLADE STOPS ROTATING. DISCONNECT THE MACHINE FROM THE ELEC- TRICAL NETWORK;

  • TO TURN OFF THE MACHINE, RELEASE THE SWITCH AND WAIT FOR A FEW SECONDS UNTIL THE BLADE STOPS ROTATING. DISCONNECT THE MACHINE FROM THE ELEC- TRICAL NETWORK;

WARNING

STOPPING THE ENGINE

  • RELEASE THE SECURITY LEVER;

  • REMOVE THE PRODUCT FROM THE OUTLET;

MAINTENANCE SCHEDULE

EVERY DAY OR EACH 4 HOURS

  • CHECK TIGHTNESS OF NUTS AND BOLTS;
  • CHECKING AND CLEANING THE SABER;
  • SHARPENING OF THE CHAIN;
  • LUBRICATING OIL LEVEL OF THE CHAIN;
  • CHECK SAFETY BRAKE;

EACH 300 HOURS OR 12 MONTHS

  • CHECK CHAIN HANDLE (REPLACE IF NECESSARY);

PLACE THE SWITCH IN THE OFF POSITION AND DISCONNECT FROM THE ELECTRICAL OUTLET BEFORE CARRYING OUT ANY REPAIR OR MAINTENANCE OPERATIONS ON THE EQUIPMENT;

  • KEEP THE AIR INTAKE CLEAN AND VENTILATION HOLES FREE OF DEBRIS TO PREVENT

  • CLEAN WITH A SPONGE AND A LITTLE SOAP. DO NOT USE A RUNNING WATER HOSE OR OTHER CLEANING LIQUIDS;

IF THE LAWN DOES NOT WORK, TURN THE SWITCH TO THE OFF POSITION AND DISCONNECT THE EXTENSION CORD, FIRST FROM THE ELECTRICAL OUTLET, THEN FROM THE LAWN. INSPECT THE SOURCE AND CHECK WHETHER IT IS ENERGIZED OR HAS BLOWN FUSES OR DISCONNECTED SWITCHES. IF IT STILL DOES NOT OPERATE, TAKE THE CHAINSAW TO AN AUTHORIZED TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE CENTER.

  • CHECK THE CONDITION OF THE CUTTING BLADE. IF IT IS WORN, BROKEN OR CRACKED, IT MUST BE REPLACED;

  • TO CHANGE THE BLADE, YOU MUST WEAR GLOVES. FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS IN THE NEXT PAGE;

WARNING

REPLACING THE BLADE

  • ALWAYS BEFORE CARRYING OUT MAINTENANCE PROCEDURES, MAKE SURE THE MOWER IS NOT PLUG INTO THE SOCKET

  • STAND THE MACHINE UPRIGHT, KEEPING THE CARBURETOR SIDE FACING UP;

  • LOCK THE BLADE, YOU CAN USE A PIECE OF WOOD AS A SUPPORT TO BLOCK;

  • WITH A WRENCH, REMOVE THE BOLT THAT SECURES THE BLADE;

WARNING

PAY ATTENTION TO THE CORRECT CUTTING DIRECTION BEFORE ASSEMBLY / WEAR PROTECTIVE GLOVES.

  • REMOVE THE BLADE AND PERFORM MAINTENANCE OR CHANGE;

  • TO REINSTALL THE BLADE, USE THE ORIGINAL SCREW BY TIGHTENING IT AND USING A SUITABLE WRENCH;

  • RETURN THE LAWN MOWER TO THE GROUND;

WARNING

PAY ATTENTION TO THE CORRECT CUTTING DIRECTION BEFORE ASSEMBLY / AFTER SHARPENING THE BLADE, CHECK THE CORRECT BALANCING / NEVER MOUNT THE BLADE UNBALANCED / ALWAYS WEAR GLOVES FOR THE CHANGE, THE BLADE CAN CUT / REPLACE THE BLADE WHENEVER IT IS DAMAGED / A TORQUE OF 35 N.m IS RECOMMENDED TO TIGHTEN THE CUTTING BLADE.

CLEANING THE LAWN MOWER

  • BEFORE CARRYING OUT ANY WORK ON THE MOWER, REMOVE THE MAINS PLUG;

  • PLACE ON LEVEL GROUND WITH THE MOWER RESTED ON THE GROUND AND FREE OF OBJECTS THAT CAN BE THROWN

  • USE A SPONGE AND A LITTLE SOAP. DO NOT USE A RUNNING WATER HOSE OR OTHER CLEANING LIQUIDS;

  • CLEAN THE BOTTOM OF THE MACHINE. MAKE SURE THE BLADE IS BE STOPED AND BE CAREFUL NOT TO CUT YOURSELF;

WARNING

CLEANING THE GRASS CATCHER BAG

  • RAISES THE BACK COVER;

  • MOVE THE MANIFOLD SLIGHTLY UP;

  • TILT IT GENTLY BACK AND REMOVE IT;

  • CAREFULLY LOWER THE BACK COVER;

  • EMPTY THE MANIFOLD IN A SUITABLE LOCATION;

WARNING

  NEVER DRAG THE CATCHER ONTO THE GROUND.

  • THE COLLECTOR CAN BE WASHED WITH WATER AND NEUTRAL SOAP;

  • ENSURE THAT THE MANIFOLD IS DRY BEFORE REINSTALLING;

  • LIFT THE BACK COVER;

  • CAREFULLY REPLACE THE GRASS CATCHER BY TILTING AND FITTING IT CORRECTLY;

  • BRING DOWN THE BACK COVER;

WARNING

DO NOT USE SHARP OR POINTED OBJECTS TO CLEAN THE PICKUP / DO NOT OPERATE THE CUTTER WITHOUT THE PICKUP, OBJECTS MAY BE THROWN AND CAUSE ACCIDENTS.

STORAGE

  • CLEAN THE GRASS CATCHER (IF EQUIPPED) AND ANY GRASS CLIPPED ON THE LAWN MOWER

  • AFTER CLEANING THE MACHINE, AND WITH IT DISCONNECTED FROM THE ELECTRICAL NETWORK, DISMANTLE THE RODS;

  • PLACE THE MACHINE IN A CLOSED ENVIRONMENT PROTECTED FROM SUN AND HUMIDITY;

WARNING

AVOID AREAS FOR STORAGE IN HUMID ENVIRONMENTS AS HUMIDITY CONTRIBUTES TO RUST AND CORROSION / AVOID ANY AREA WITH ELEMENTS THAT PRODUCE ELECTRIC SPARKS / NEVER CLEAN THE EQUIPMENT WITH CHEMICALS OR ABRASIVES.

TRANSPORT

  • PUT THE ENGINE IN FLAT SURFACES IN ORDER TO AVOID TIPPING AND DAMAGES;

WARNING

NEVER CARRY THE MOTOR LYING DOWN OR UPSIDE DOWN.

WARRANTY TERM

This product is guaranteed against defects in material and workmanship for a legal period of three (3) months from the date of issue of the respective Sales Invoice. We undertake to repair or replace, within the period mentioned, free of charge, parts that are recognized by the Technical Department as defective, upon approval of the Warranty Request.

This warranty is limited and non-transferable, valid only for the first purchaser and covers only the product, all damages and losses resulting from misuse of the equipment are excluded. Any freight/ insurance and other costs will be borne by the buyer.

The following shall be excluded from the guarantee:

  • Defects caused by use not in accordance with the instructions contained in the Owner’s Manual; accidents (falling, fire, etc.); use of non-original parts and repairs and / or maintenance carried out by unauthorized workshops and / or technicians.
  • Spare parts and natural maintenance such as spark plugs, lubricants, filters, fuel cap, starting cord, handles, seals, gaskets, safety devices and similar items.
  • Parts that suffer from natural wear and tear due to friction such as piston, cylinder, piston rings, bearings, pins, rollers, connecting rod, crankshaft, springs, bushings, rotor and mechanical seals.
  • Violated products.
  • Products whose Certificate of Warranty is incorrectly filled in and / or without the Sales Invoice number.

NOTE: A breakdown during the warranty period does not entitle the buyer to stop payment, or discounts.

IMPORTANT: Keep the Sales Invoice, the Product Warranty Certificate and present them when you need technical assistance.

ATTENTION: Read the owner’s instruction manual and all warnings of danger and attention before operating the equipment.
