INTRODUCTION
The Pulse-Eight Opto-coupling IR cable (Mono -> Stereo) cable converts a 12V IR signal from a third-party IR control product to a 5V IR signal that is compatible with Pulse-Eight IR inputs.
FEATURES
- It avoids the requirement to manually couple IR transmitter and receiver buds together.
- Provides a secure direct connection between IR control systems.
- Converts IR signals between a stereo transmitter and a mono receiver.

INSTALLATION AND USAGE
Control System – CTRL (Global IR IN)
This wiring diagram allows user to control all the source on the matrix. User
can switch between the source connected to the matrix.
Control System – IR IN Zone
This wiring diagram allows user to control the source on the zone. User can
change the volume, power on and off and change channel of the source.
TROUBLESHOOTING
Should you encounter installation difficulties or issues with device
communication, the following checklist of common issues and causes should help
resolve your issues. If you still continue to experience issues, please
contact your local representative for further assistance.
Not Receiving Signal
- Reseat the cable from both ends.
- If there is another opto-coupling cable, try swapping them to see if where the problem lies.
- Please contact a Pulse-Eight representative or your Installer if the cable is faulty.
