Instructions for Play

Getting Started

Use the Learn & Groove Musical Table as a floor toy (without legs) for infants. Use as an activity table only when child is able to stand steadily. As with all toys for this age group, adult supervision is recommended.
To attach the legs:

  • Place tabletop on the floor with the bottom facing up, as shown.
  • With the smooth side of each leg facing out, insert one table leg into each corner of the table and snap into place securely.

To remove the legs:

  • To detach the table legs, turn the table over. With the tabletop on the floor, press the button on the table leg close to the tabletop and pull out.
  • Turn on the Learn & Groove Musical Table by sliding the Off switch to Low or High volume.
  • The product will shut off automatically after a period of inactivity. Wake the table up again by moving any manipulative or by turning it off and on again.

Play Modes

Use the Language Selection switch to choose either English or Spanish. Turn the center page to select either Learning mode or Music mode:

  • Learning mode: Each instrument introduces concepts such as colors, the alphabet, shapes, numbers, opposites, and more.
  • Music mode: Your child can explore real instrument sounds, a variety of musical styles, and 21 popular children’s tunes.

Instructions for Care

FOR DRY, INDOOR-LOCATION USE ONLY

Keep food and beverages away from the product. Never spill liquid of any kind on this product as it may cause damage or render the device inoperative. Clean with a slightly damp cloth (cold water). Do not use soap or detergent. Never submerge the unit in water. Avoid prolonged exposure to extreme temperatures and direct sunlight. Avoid dropping the unit. Never try to dismantle it.

  • CAUTION: Routinely check this toy for proper and safe condition. I there is any damage or broken parts, remove the toy from use.
  • CAUTION : To be used under the direct supervision of an adult.

Battery Information

Batteries included are for in-store demonstration and should be replaced for home use. Requires 3 AA (called LR6 in some countries) alkaline batteries.

Battery Removal and Installation Instructions

  1. Open the battery door with a screwdriver.
  2. If used or spent batteries are present, remove these batteries from the unit by pulling up on one end of
  3. Installater batteries as shown in the polarity (+/-) diagram inside the battery compartment.
  4. Replace the battery door securely.

Battery Safety

Batteries are small objects and may pose a choking hazard for small children. Batteries must be replaced by an adult. Follow the polarity (+/-) diagram in the battery compartment. Promptly remove dead batteries from the toy to avoid leaking. Dispose of used batteries properly. Remove batteries for prolonged storage. Only batteries of the same or equivalent type as recommended are to be used.

  • DO NOT incinerate used batteries.
  • DO NOT dispose of batteries in a fire, as batteries may explode or leak.
  • DO NOT mix old and new batteries or types of batteries (e.g., alkaline/standard).
  • DO NOT recharge non-rechargeable batteries.
  • DO NOT short-circuit the supply terminals.

CARE & MAINTENANCE

  1. Keep the unit clean by wiping it with a slightly damp cloth.
  2. Keep the unit out of direct sunlight and away from any direct heat sources.
  3. Remove the batteries when the unit is not in use for an extended period of time.
  4. Do not drop the unit on a hard surface and do not expose the unit to excess moisture.

TROUBLESHOOTING

If for some reason the program/activity stops working, please follow these steps:

  1. Turn the unit OFF.
  2. Interrupt the power supply by removing the batteries.
  3. Let the unit stand for a few minutes, then replace the batteries.
  4. Turn the unit back ON. The unit will now be ready to play again.
  5. If the unit still does not work, replace it with an entire set of new batteries.

Environmental phenomena.

  • The unit may malfunction if subjected to radio-frequency interference.
  • It should revert to normal operation when the interference stops.
  • If not, it may become necessary to turn the power OFF and back ON or remove and reinstall the batteries.
  • In the unlikely event of an electrostatic discharge, the unit may malfunction and lose memory, requiring the user to reset the device by removing and reinstalling the batteries.
