Getting Started

Inputting text
On -Screen Keyboard There is a preinstalled on-screen keyboard app in your TV which will appear whenever text is expected to be entered by the user, e.g. Wi-Fi password or website address in the web browser. To navigate the onscreen keyboard, use the ARROW buttons on the remote control, enter the character selected by pressing [OK]. If you press and hold the [OK] button for 2 seconds while on a selected symbol, this will display the associated national character(s) with accents or diacritical marks.

Accessibility features
This TV has accessibility features in [Accessibility] such as a text-to-speech function for on-screen text, zooming to make text easier to read, and subtitles. Press the (quick settings) button, then select [Settings] > [System] > [Accessibility] to configure the user assistive features. [Accessibility] has a shortcut function so you can turn it on or off by pressing and holding the (back) and (down arrow) buttons on the remote control for 3 seconds.

Using the Remote Control
You can operate many of the televisions features by using the UP, DOWN, LEFT, RIGHT and OK buttons on the remote control. The following remote control buttons are used to navigate the menus:
(back) – Takes you one step back in the menu. Press and hold to exit from the menu and return to the source or Home screen. [ARROW BUTTONS] – Navigate around the options on the screen. [OK] – Selects the option highlighted or selected. Your TV can also be voice controlled using Google Assistant.

onnecting external devices
Before turning your TV on, it is recommended that your external devices are connected before continuing with the first-time installation process. Depending on the source connectivity on your television, follow the guidance below when connecting external devices. HDMI Connection For optimum picture quality, we recommend connecting your device to the television using an HDMI cable.

HDMI CEC-Compatible Devices
If an HDMI CEC-compatible device (e.g., Blu-ray player, AV receiver) is connected with an HDMI cable, you can operate the device with the televisions remote control. We recommend using the HDMI (ARC) connection when used with an AV receiver ­ please refer to the ARC section of this Operation Manual.

Adjusting HDMI CEC Settings
Turn on the connected device. To enable HDMI control, press the (home) button,
then select [Settings] > [Channels & Inputs] > [Inputs], scroll down and activate [HDMI control]. Activate HDMI control on the connected device. [Available options] [HDMI control] ­ Allow the TV to control HDMI devices. [Device auto power off] ­ If disabled, the connected device does not turn off automatically when the television is turned off. [TV auto power on] ­ If disabled, the television does not turn on automatically when the connected device is turned on. [HDMI EDID Version] ­ If your TV does not receive picture or sound from connected HDMI device, try to change this setting. [CEC Device list] ­ Displays the

HDMI CEC device list.
Features Available to Compatible CEC Devices
[Blu-ray/DVD player] Automatically turns the television on and switches
the input to the connected Blu-ray/DVD player when the Blu-ray/DVD player starts to play. Automatically turns the connected Blu-ray/DVD player off when you turn the television off. Controls menu operation ARROW buttons, playback and track selection of the connected Blu-ray/DVD player through the TV’s remote control. [AV Receiver] Automatically turns the connected AV receiver on and switches the sound output from the TV speaker to the audio system when you turn the TV on. This function is only available if you have previously used the AV receiver to output the TV’s sound. Automatically switches the sound output to the AV receiver by turning the AV receiver on when the TV is turned on. Automatically turns the connected AV receiver off when you turn the TV off. Adjust the volume and mute functions via the [VOL+/­] and [MUTE] buttons on your television remote control. [Video Camera] Automatically turns the TV on and switches the input to the connected video camera when the camera is turned on. Automatically turns the connected video camera off when you turn the TV off. Controls menu operation [ARROW] buttons, playback, e.g. [PLAY] button of the connected video camera through the TV’s remote control.

NOTE: Not all devices with HDMI input/output are HDMI CEC compatible. For information about CEC compatibility, refer to the instruction manual of the device. Connecting an external audio device
You can connect audio systems such as AV receivers or sound bars to the television. Select a connection method below according to the specifications of the audio system you want to connect. Connecting with an HDMI cable. Connecting with a digital optical cable. Connecting with an audio cable
HDMI Connection (ARC/eARC) Connecting the television and audio system with an HDMI cable. This is the recommended method of connecting an external audio device. Use an HDMI cable to link the HDMI input terminal on the television marked with “eARC” to the HDMI input on the external audio device bearing the “ARC” or “eARC” text.

(home) button, then select [Settings] > [Sound] and make sure that [eARC] is set to [Auto]. Control of volume can be achieved via the television remote control (CEC must be turned on). When ARC/eARC is working, the sound from the television speakers will be muted. If your connected audio system is not producing sound, it is possible that it does not support the required codecs. In such cases, you can try allowing the TV to decode the sound. Press the (quick settings) button and select [Settings] > [Display & Sound] > [Audio output] > [Digital Output] > [PCM]. [Differences between ARC and eARC explained] If your external audio system only supports the HDMI ARC function, the TV will only be able to transmit compressed audio with a maximum of 5.1 channels. If your external audio system supports the HDMI eARC function, the TV will be able to transmit uncompressed audio with a maximum of 7.1 channels. Transmission of object sound, such as Dolby Atmos and DTS:X, is also supported.

NOTE: When using the digital optical output for audio connection, it is important to disable the TV’s internal speakers to avoid any echo effects. To do this, press
(quick settings) button and select [Settings] > [Display & Sound] > [Sound] > [Speakers] > [Off]. This will disable the TV’s internal speakers. If your connected audio system is not producing sound, it is possible that it does not support the required codecs. In such cases, you can try allowing the TV to decode the sound. Press the (quick settings) button and select [Settings] > [Display & Sound] > [Audio output] > [Digital Output] > [PCM].

NOTE: The output audio level is dependent upon the headphone level. The volume level on the connected audio system must be turned up.
Connecting Headphones
You can connect wired or Bluetooth headphones to this TV. Connecting wired headphones

When wired headphones are connected to the 3.5mm jack socket of the TV, the internal speakers will cut out. The volume of the sound which comes from the headphones is controlled via the remote control using the [VOL+] and [VOL-] buttons.

Connecting Bluetooth headphones Pairing of Bluetooth headphones with the TV:

1. Press the (home) button to access the Home screen. 2. Activate the pairing function on your headphones. Please refer to the
   user manual of your headphones to find out how.

3. Press the menu.

(quick settings) button to open the Quick Settings

4. Navigate to [Settings] > [Remotes & Accessories] > [Pair accessory].

5. The name of your headphones will appear on the TV screen. Select them and press [OK] to confirm the pairing.

To connect to a paired Bluetooth headphones:

1. Press the (quick settings) button on the remote control, then select [Settings] > [Remotes & Accessories].
2. Select a paired but unconnected headphones. Ensure the headphones are powered on.
3. Select [Connect].
When a Bluetooth headphones are connected with the TV, the internal speakers will cut out. The volume of the sound that which comes from the Bluetooth headphones is adjusted via the remote control using the volume buttons.

NOTE: Avoid using excessive volume with headphones for prolonged periods, as this may cause hearing damage.

Home screen
The Google TV Home screen serves as the central hub for accessing various features and content on your TV. It provides a user-friendly interface that allows you to navigate and explore different apps, recommendations, and settings.

[Profile Switching] ­ Google TV supports multiple user profiles, allowing each family member to have their own personalized experience. The Profile Switching feature lets you switch between user profiles to access individualized recommendations and settings. [Home] ­ The Home screen is the main landing page of the Google TV interface. It displays a customizable layout with content recommendations, recently accessed apps, and personalized suggestions based on your viewing habits. [Apps] ­ The Apps section of the Home screen gives you quick access to all the installed applications on your Google TV. You can browse and launch your favourite streaming services, games, productivity tools, and other apps from this section. [Library] ­ List of your purchased, rented and watchlisted content. [Search] ­ The Search feature enables you to search for specific content across various streaming platforms, apps, and channels. Simply enter the title, actor, or keyword using the on- screen keyboard, and Google TV will display relevant results. [Quick Settings] ­ In Quick Settings, you can customise and configure the most used aspects of Google TV, such as display settings, audio settings and network settings. Notifications are displayed at the bottom. If you
leave the (gear icon) selected and press [OK], you’ll be taken to the full settings.
NOTE:
The above description of the Home screen applies when at least one Google account is linked to the TV. If you choose not to use any account during the initial installation, the Home screen will be simplified with fewer options.
First time installation
When the TV is turned on for the first time it will enter the installation mode. It is recommended that all steps are completed to ensure correct operation. Use the (back) button on your remote control to return to the previous screen. When the TV first turns on, instructions on how to pair the remote control are displayed on the screen. Pair your voice remote following the on-screen instructions. You will need to press and hold the two remote control buttons shown on the screen.

1. Select your preferred on-screen display language. This will set the language in which the menus and associated information are displayed. If you wish to change it later, you can do so in the [System] menu.

4. If your TV is not connected via an Ethernet cable, it will request that a Wi-Fi network is selected and logged into. Choose your network and then follow the on-screen display to enter your password. When correctly entered, the TV will connect to your network and connect to the internet if this is available.

2. Enter the country of use for the TV. This will determine the functionality of the television, such as specific operator settings for tuning of TV channels.

5. On this screen, you can review the detailed terms and conditions for using connected services. By selecting [Accept], you agree to these terms and can proceed with the setup. Choosing [Skip] will result in certain services not being available to you.

3. Select option [Set up Google TV] to use TV with all its smart features. If you choose [Set up basic TV], setup will finish faster and TV can be used without Google account, however internet connection and thus smart features will be unavailable. TV also won’t get important security updates.

6. Now you can sign in using your Google account. If you don’t have a Google account yet, you can set one up at this point. During this stage, you will provide information for one Google account. Additional accounts for your family members can be added later through the [Profile] menu.

7. Please carefully review the information provided on this screen regarding sharing your TV’s location with apps and details about diagnostics. Your understanding of this information will help you make informed decisions when selecting options on the next screen.

11. This screen is associated with Google Assistant. Choose [Allow] to enable content searching within apps using voice commands. For instance, you can request to play a specific show from a streaming app. If you prefer not to use voice search, select [No thanks].

8. Choose your preferred settings on this screen and proceed to the next step by selecting the [Accept].

12. Choose the apps that will be automatically downloaded and installed once the setup is completed. Remember, this is just a part of the initial setup; you can always search for and install additional apps from the Home screen later on.

9. Here, you have the opportunity to subscribe to the Google TV newsletter.

17. Set up your television to be in Home or Store mode. Home mode is the default setting for normal use. This can be changed later in the Settings menu if necessary.

15. On this screen, you can review the manufacturer’s privacy policy and terms of use. To proceed, select the option [Agree to Terms of Use and Continue].

18. This screen relates to the function of waking up the TV using Chromecast built-in. For example, you can activate the TV from standby mode by casting the screen from a mobile device. However, it’s important to note that this will lead to higher power consumption while the TV is in standby mode. Select [On] if you want to enable the ability to wake up the TV with a mobile device, or choose [Off] to minimize power consumption in standby mode.

16. When this screen appears, press the [OK] button on the remote control to input a four-digit PIN code. You will be asked to confirm the PIN before progressing to the next step. This PIN is used when accessing various functions on the TV and during the lock or parental control usage.
19. If you have an antenna cable connected to one of the TV’s tuners, choose one of the applicable options and initiate the tuning process. While your TV is tuning, the display will provide updates on the progress and indicate the number of digital channels being received. If the tuning process is completed or if you do not have an antenna connected, select the [Next Step] option.

20. On this screen, select [Next] to finish the setup, or you may choose [Setup network] if you haven’t already configured the network in the previous steps.
21. This screen promotes the optional `Sharp Aquos Wireless Surround’ speaker system, which is compatible with this TV and significantly enhances the listening experience. The system can be purchased separately. Scan the QR code with your smartphone to access more information.
When you see this screen, you are ready to use your Google TV. Press [OK] and your TV will start at the Home screen.
Live TV Tuning terrestrial (air) channels
To start automatic channel scanning, follow the steps below: 1. Press the (quick settings) button, then select [Settings] >
[Channels & Inputs] > [Channels] > [Antenna]. 2. Select [Channel Scan] to start tuning all available channels. 3. Select [Single RF Scan] to tune only a single frequency band
(multiplex).

Before you start tuning channels, you can change the tuning settings in the [Antenna]menu: [LCN] ­ Toggles Logical Channel Numbering (LCN) on or off. With LCN on, digital TV channels are sorted according to the provider’s preferences. Keep in mind that enabling LCN might limit your ability to rearrange channel positions or alter channel numbering. [Channel Scan Type] ­ Select the type of channels to be tuned.
[All] ­ All channels will be tuned. [Only Encrypted Channels] ­ Tunes only encrypted channels that require a CAM module or CAM with a smartcard. [Only Free Channels] ­ Only free channels will be tuned. [Channel Store Type] ­ Selects the type of channels to be stored in the TV memory after tuning. [All] ­ All channels will be stored. [Only Digital Channels] ­ Only TV channels will be stored. [Only Radio Channels] ­ Only radio channels will be stored.
Tuning cable channels
To start automatic channel scanning, follow the steps below:
1. Press the (quick settings) button, then select [Settings] > [Channels & Inputs] > [Channels] > [Cable] > [Channel Scan].
2. Select one of the available cable operators. If your cable operator is not present in the list, select [Others].
3. In the Scan menu, select one of the following options from [Scan Mode]:
[Full] ­ Tunes channels on all possible frequencies. Tuning may take a long time. [Quick] ­ Tunes channels based on the frequency and network ID provided by your cable operator. If you set Frequency to Auto, the TV will scan all frequencies from lowest to highest until homing channel is found. It then quickly tunes the remaining channels based on the homing channel information. [Advanced] ­ Tunes channels based on the frequency and network ID provided by your cable operator. If you set Frequency to Auto, the TV will scan only predefined operator frequencies until a homing channel is found. It then quickly tunes the remaining channels based on the homing channel information.
To tune a single frequency:
1. Press the (quick settings) button, then select [Settings] > [Channels & Inputs] > [Channels] > [Cable] > [Single RF Scan].
2. Set additional scan options such as frequency and symbol rate, then select [Scan] and press [OK] to start scanning.

Tuning satellite channels (general)
This section provides guidance on how to tune channels from a specific satellite, such as ASTRA 19.2E. Before tuning satellite channels, make sure that the TV is in [Preferred Satellite] mode:

1. Press the (quick settings) button, then select [Settings] > [Channels & Inputs] > [Channels] > [Satellite] > [Channel Installation Mode].
2. Select option [General Satellite].
To initiate the satellite scanning process, follow these steps:
1. Press the (quick settings) button, then select [Settings] > [Channels & Inputs] > [Channels] > [Satellite] > [Satellite Re-scan].
2. Select [Next] to proceed with the scan or choose [More] to select specific scan mode.
If you select [More], there are several types of satellite scan modes to choose from. Select the one that corresponds to your satellite system: [Single] ­ Scan the channels of a single satellite. [Tone Burst] ­ Scan the channels from up to 2 satellites. [DiSEqC 1.0] ­ Scan the channels from up to 4 satellites. [DiSEqC 1.1] ­ Scan the channels from up to 16 satellites. [DiSEqC 1.2] ­ Use this option if you have a satellite antenna with a single axis motor. [Unicable I] ­ Scan the channels from up to 2 satellites with up to 8 User Band Number. [Unicable II] ­ Scan the channels from up to 4 satellites with up to 32 User Band Number. 3. Select the satellite you want to scan and press [OK].
4. Change the available settings if necessary:
[Satellite Status] ­ This feature allows you to deactivate the tuning ability for the currently selected satellite. In cases where you have the capability to tune multiple satellites, but you choose not to tune the currently selected satellite, you can utilize this option to disable it. [Satellite selection] ­ Displays the name of the currently selected satellite. Modification is not possible. [Scan mode] ­ This option allows you to select how channels should be scanned:
[Full] ­ Scan all channels on all available transponders on all possible frequencies. [Network] ­ Scan for channels on all available transponders. When a homing channel is found, its Network Information Table (NIT) is read and additional channels are quickly tuned based on it. [Scan type] ­ Select the type of channels to be tuned. [All] ­ All channels will be tuned. [Only Encrypted Channels] ­ Tunes only encrypted channels that require a CAM module or CAM with a smart card. [Only Free Channels] ­ Only free channels will be tuned. [Store type] ­ Selects the type of channels to be stored in the TV memory after tuning. [All] ­ All channels will be stored. [Only Digital Channels] ­ Only TV channels will be stored. [Only Radio Channels] ­ Only radio channels will be stored. [LNB configurations] ­ View or set the LNB configurations for LNB Power, LNB Frequency, Tone 22KHz, Signal Quality and Signal Level. [Transponder] ­ Settings for tuning a single transponder. [Signal Quality] ­ Shows the quality of the signal for the currently selected satellite. [Signal Level] ­ Indicates the strength of the signal for the currently selected satellite. 5. Select [Next] to initiate the scanning process.
To tune only single transponder, please follow the steps below:
1. Press the (quick settings) button, then select [Settings] > [Channels & Inputs] > [Channels] > [Satellite] > [Satellite Manual Tuning].
2. Select the satellite you want to scan and press [OK].
3. In [Transponder] set [Frequency], [Symbol Rate] and [Polarization] of transponder you want to tune.
4. Select [Next] to proceed the scan.

Tuning satellite channels (preferred)
This section provides instructions on how to tune channels from a specific satellite service provider using the quick tuning method, such as FastScan. This feature enables you to efficiently tune all of your operator’s satellite channels, automatically organize channels according to operator preferences, and keep channels updated in response to any changes on the operator’s side, such as transponder updates or the addition of new channels. Before tuning satellite channels, ensure that the TV is in the [Preferred Satellite] mode:
1. Press the (quick settings) button, then select [Settings] > [Channels & Inputs] > [Channels] > [Satellite] > [Channel Installation Mode].
2. Select option [Preferred Satellite]. To start channel scanning using the FastScan:
1. 1.Press the (quick settings) button, then select [Settings] > [Channels & Inputs] > [Channels] > [Satellite] > [Satellite- Re-scan].
2. Select [Next] > [FastScan]. 3. Choose the desired satellite that you want to tune. 4. Select [Next] and press [OK]. 5. After a moment, the operator list will appear on the screen. Select your
operator/service and confirm with the [OK] button. 6. Within a short period, all the channels of your operator will be tuned,
sorted and you can start watching TV.

Channel list
The channel list on your TV is where you can access all of your available TV channels in one convenient location. Follow these instructions to access and manage your channel list: 1. Press the (home) button on your remote control to open the home
screen. 2. Select “Live TV” from the list of apps on your home screen. 3. Make sure you are on a digital TV input (antenna, cable or satellite). 4. Press the [OK] button to open the channel list. 5. Use the arrow buttons on the remote to browse through the list of
available channels. 6. Press the [OK] button on the remote to select a channel and start
watching. [Searching for a channel] 1. Navigate to the channel list as described above. 2. Press the [green] button and select [Find]. 3. Enter channel number, the name or part of then name of searched
channel on the on-screen keyboard. Alternatively, if you have a remote with microphone paired to the TV, you can use your voice to search for specific channel. 4. On the on-screen keyboard select button with “tick” mark and press [OK] to start searching, 5. Search results are listed on the screen. [Sorting the channel list] You can sort a channel list to show only channel of specific type such as TV stations only or radio station only. 1. Navigate to the channel list as described above. 2. Press the [green] button and select [Sort]. 3. Select one of available sorting criteria and press [OK]. 4. Channel are filtered by selected option and the name of the filter appears as part of the channel list name on top of the channel list.

Editing the channel list
[Moving channels in the channel list] Moving channels within the channel list on your TV can be a useful way to organize your favorite channels or place them in a more convenient order.

To move channels within the channel list, follow these steps: 1. While watching TV, press [OK] button to open the channel list. 2. Press the [red] button. 3. Select [Channel Move] from the menu. 4. Use the [OK] button to select one or more channels you want to move. 5. Use the arrow buttons to move the cursor to where you want to move
the selected channels. 6. Press the [blue] button. 7. All selected channels are grouped and moved to the cursor position. [Swapping channel positions in the channel list] You can also swap position of two channels: 1. While watching TV, press [OK] button to open the channel list. 2. Press the [red] button. 3. Select [Channel Swap] from the menu. 4. Select channel you wish to swap and press the [OK] button. 5. Then select second channel to be swapped and press [OK]. 6. The position of the 2 channels is swapped. Note that some channels may not be movable depending on your TV provider’s settings. [Skipping channels] When you press [CH+/CH-] buttons, you change to the next previous channel in the list. If there are some channels which you don’t want to see when pressing CH+/CH- please follow steps below: 1. While watching TV, press [OK] button to open the channel list. 2. Press the [red] button. 3. Select [Channel Skip] from the menu. 4. Select channels you wish to skip. 5. Leave the menu. Now during pressing CH+/CH- selected channel will be skipped. [Deleting the channels] If you wish to delete specific channels from the channel list follow steps below. 1. While watching TV, press [OK] button to open the channel list. 2. Press the [red] button. 3. Select [Channel Edit] from the menu. 4. Select with cursor channel you wish to delete. 5. Press the [blue] button. 6. Currently selected channel will be deleted from the list. Alternative method to delete channels: 1. While watching TV, press [OK] button to open the channel list. 2. Press the [red] button. 3. Select [Channel Delete] from the menu. 4. Select channel which you want to delete and press the [yellow] button. You can select this way multiple channels for deletion. 5. When all channels to be deleted are selected, press the [blue] button. 6. All selected channels will be removed from the channel list. [Deleting whole channel list] 1. Navigate to the channel list. 2. Press the [red] button. 3. Select [Clear Channel list] from the menu.

Favourites list
The favourites list on your TV gives you quick access to your most-watched TV channels. Follow these instructions to access and manage your favourites list: [Adding channels to your favourites list] 1. While watching live TV, press the [OK] button to open channel list. 2. Move the cursor to the channel you want to add to your favourites.

3. Press the [blue] button and select one or more favourites lists where you wish to add the channel.
4. Press the (back) button to return to the channel list. A heart symbol will appear next to the channel that is in the favourites list.
To add more channels to your favourites, repeat steps 2 ­ 4. [Using the favourites list] By default, when you press [OK] while watching live TV, the standard channel list is displayed. If you want the favourites list to be displayed instead, follow these steps: 1. Make sure you are on a digital TV input (antenna, cable or satellite). 2. Press the [OK] button to open the channel list. 3. Press the [yellow] button to open the channel list type selection. 4. Scroll down and select [Favorites], then select one of the 4 available
favourite channel lists. 5. Now, each time you press the [OK] button, the corresponding
favourites list will open.
NOTE: If you later want to change the OK button function to a different favourites list or a different channel list, repeat the above steps and select the desired channel/favourite list in step 4. [Removing channels from your favourites list] 1. Ensure you are on input of digital TV (Antenna, Cable or Satellite). 2. Press the [OK] button to open channel list. 3. Move the cursor to the channel you want to remove from your
favourites. 4. Press the [blue] button and then deselect the favourites list from
which you want to remove this channel. 5. Press the (back) button to return to channel list. To remove additional channels from your favourites, repeat steps 3 ­ 5.

Settings menu
Basic instructions for navigating the menus
To access the main menu, press the (quick settings) button on the remote control.
To enter the selected menu, press the [OK] button. Use the scroll (///) buttons to navigate within the menus. To confirm a setting, press the [OK] button. To go back one step in the menu, press the (back) button. To exit a menu at any time, press and hold the (back) button.

TV menu
While watching live TV or a source from an external device connected via one of the video inputs, press the (quick settings) button to access the TV menu. This menu allows you to quickly adjust picture and sound parameters and more. The following menus are available: [Inputs] ­ Opens a list of inputs. [Picture] ­ Settings related to the TV picture (brightness, contrast, picture mode, etc.). [Screen] ­ Settings for the screen aspect ratio. [Sound] ­ Sound settings (sound style, bass, treble, etc.). [Power] ­ Settings for automatic TV standby (Sleep timer, Off timer, etc.). [Parental Controls] ­ Opens parental control settings. To enter this menu, you will need to enter the PIN you created during the initial TV setup. [CI Card] ­ CI card settings. [Advanced options] ­ Settings related to live TV (changing audio track, option to turn HbbTV on/off, etc.). [Settings] ­ Opens the Settings menu.
NOTE: Detailed information about the contents of these menus is available in the following chapters of this guide.

When the TV menu is displayed on the screen, press the [up arrow] button to access the Channels menu: [Program Guide] ­ Opens the electronic program guide, displaying information about currently running and upcoming shows. [Channel] ­ Opens the Channel menu where you can tune channels and adjust settings related to tuning. [Channel Management] ­ Opens channel management for editing the channel list (moving, deleting, etc.).

Quick settings menu

To access the Quick Settings menu, enter the Home screen by pressing the (home) button on the remote control, then press the (quick settings) button. The Quick Settings menu provides convenient access to frequently used features: [Settings] ­ Selecting the cogwheel icon in the top-right corner grants access to the full settings menu. [Profile] ­ To the right of the cogwheel is a profile icon. You can easily switch accounts, add, or remove profiles in this menu. [Screensaver] ­ Immediately activates the preset screensaver. [Inputs] ­ Opens a list of inputs. [Picture] ­ Adjust settings related to the TV picture (brightness, contrast, picture mode, etc.). [Sound] ­ Sound settings (sound style, bass, treble, etc.). [Network & Internet] ­ Settings for wireless and wired network connections. [Accessibility] ­ Provides access to special functions for hearing and visually impaired individuals. [Notifications] ­ Appear in the bottom part of the Quick Settings menu.

Channels
To enter the channels menu, press the (quick settings) button and select [Settings] > [Channels & Inputs] > [Channels]. Within this menu, you’ll find the following options: [Analog] ­ This section includes tuning options for analogue channels. [Channel Scan] ­ Initiates an automatic tuning process for analogue channels. [Update Scan] ­ Performs an incremental scan by focusing only on the frequencies that the [Channel Scan] has not covered. [Analog Manual Scan] ­ Allows you to manually input an analogue frequency to initiate a single-channel manual scan. [Antenna] ­ Configuration options for channels received through an antenna. [Channel Scan] ­ Initiates an automatic tuning process for digital channels. [Update Scan] ­ Performs an incremental scan by focusing only on the frequencies that the [Channel Scan] has not covered.

[Single RF Scan] ­ Allows manual tuning of a single multiplex, a collection of digital channels on one frequency band. [Manual Service Update] ­ Channel positions, names and frequencies will be updated by the service provider. [LCN] ­ Toggles Logical Channel Numbering (LCN) on or off. With LCN on, digital TV channels are sorted according to the provider’s preferences. Keep in mind that enabling LCN might limit your ability to rearrange channel positions or alter channel numbering. [Channel Scan Type] ­ Select the type of channels to be tuned. [All] ­ All channels will be tuned. [Only Encrypted Channels] ­ Tunes only encrypted channels that require a CAM module or CAM with a smartcard. [Only Free Channels] ­ Only free channels will be tuned. [Channel Store Type] ­ Selects the type of channels to be stored in the TV memory after tuning. [All] ­ All channels will be stored. [Only Digital Channels] ­ Only TV channels will be stored. [Only Radio Channels] ­ Only radio channels will be stored. [Favorite Network Select] ­ Multiple networks may be available in some countries/areas.

The channels will be sorted differently according to the selected network. [Cable] ­ Configuration options for tuning digital cable channels. [Channel Scan] ­ Initiates an automatic tuning process for digital channels. [Single RF Scan] ­ Manual tuning of a single frequency band. [LCN] ­ Toggles Logical Channel Numbering (LCN) on or off. With LCN on, digital TV channels are sorted according to the provider’s preferences. Keep in mind that enabling LCN might limit your ability to rearrange channel positions or alter channel numbering. [Channel Scan Type] ­ Select the type of channels to be tuned. [All] ­ All channels will be tuned. [Only Encrypted Channels] ­ Tunes only encrypted channels that require a CAM module or CAM with a smartcard. [Only Free Channels] ­ Only free channels will be tuned. [Channel Store Type] ­ Selects the type of channels to be stored in the TV memory after tuning.

[All] ­ All channels will be stored. [Only Digital Channels] ­ Only TV channels will be stored. [Only Radio Channels] ­ Only radio channels will be stored. [Satellite] ­ Configuration options for tuning digital satellite channels. [Channel Installation Mode] ­ Adjust available settings for satellite tuning. [General Satellite] ­ ]This option enables you to tune satellites using the standard method, allowing you to tune all channels from a satellite or specific transponders. [Preferred Satellite] ­ ]This option allows you to quickly tune channels from a specified satellite service provider. [Satellite Re-scan] ­ Performs tuning of all channels from the selected satellite. [Satellite Add]

­ Enables the addition of a new satellite to the satellite list. [Satellite Update] ­ Tunes all frequencies that currently have no tuned satellite channels. [Satellite Manual Tuning] ­ Provides the ability to manually tune a single transponder. [Auto Channel Update] ­ If you set this option to ON, channel positions, names, and frequencies will be periodically updated by the provider. This may cause problems if you have sorted the channels in the channel list yourself. In such cases, we recommend keeping this option off. [Channel Update Message] ­ You can choose whether to display a notification screen when an automatic channel update occurs.

Inputs
To access the inputs menu, press the (quick settings) button and navigate to [Settings] > [Channels & Inputs] > [Inputs]. Please note that this menu is dedicated to input setup. To switch to a different input, press and hold the (live guide) button. Within this menu, you’ll find the following options: [When you select one of available inputs:] [Show this input] ­ Check this option to display the selected input in the Input list. Uncheck it if you prefer not to see this input listed. [NAME] ­ Choose from preset options to change the input name. If you select [Custom name], you can use the on-screen keyboard to define a new name for this input. [The following settings are specific to HDMI inputs:] [HDMI Control] ­ Enable or disable HDMI CEC function. This feature enables you to control devices connected via HDMI using the TV remote control.

[Device auto power off] When this function is enabled, all devices connected to the TV via HDMI will enter standby mode when the TV is turned off. [TV auto power on] ­ Enables the TV to turn on from standby mode when any connected HDMI device is turned on. [HDMI EDID Version] ­ This item allows you to switch the mode of the current HDMI input. If you’re not receiving picture or sound from the connected HDMI device, you can manually change to a different EDID version. [HDMI 1.4] ­ Recommended when the TV is connected to a device with an HDMI 1.4 output or lower, such as a Full HD Blu-Ray player or DVD player. [HDMI 2.0] ­ Recommended when the TV is connected to a device with an HDMI 2.0 output, like a 4K Blu-ray player. This setting also enables HDR content. [Auto] ­ The TV automatically selects the optimal option. If you’re not receiving picture and/or sound via HDMI, try manually selecting other options. [HDMI 2.1] ­ Recommended when the TV is connected to a device with an HDMI 2.1 output. This setting also enables HDR content. [CEC Device List] ­ Displays the HDMI CEC device list.
Picture

o access the Picture menu, press the (quick settings) button on the remote and select [Settings] > [Display & Sound] > [Picture]. Within this menu, you’ll find the following options: [Picture Mode] ­ Choose from the following presets: [Comfort] ­ Allows manual adjustment of all settings. [Standard] ­ Recommended settings for general use. [Dynamic] ­ Enhances image saturation and sharpness. [Sport] ­ Optimises picture quality for sports broadcasts. [Movie] ­ Adjusted for lighter colours and reduced brightness. [Game] ­ Optimal for gaming, turning off post-processing to minimize input lag. [Eco] ­ Reduces screen brightness for lower power consumption.

[Backlight] ­ Adjust the screen brightness by increasing or decreasing the panel backlight. [Auto Brightness] ­ Available only on TVs with a room light sensor. Automatically adjusts screen brightness based on ambient room light. [Brightness] ­ Increases or decreases overall picture brightness. [Contrast] ­ Adjusts the balance between black and white levels. [Saturation] ­ Increases colour intensity from black and white. [HUE] ­ Modifies the hue level within the image (for NTSC signal only). [Sharpness] ­ Enhances or reduces image sharpness. [Advanced Settings] ­ Additional picture settings. [Reset to Default] ­ This option allows you to restore the default video settings.

Advanced Settings
You can find following items in the [Advanced Settings] menu: [Color Temperature] ­ Choose from the following presets:
[User] ­ Customize the color temperature according to your preference. [Cool] ­ Increases the blue tones within the picture. [Standard] ­ Default colour temperature settings.

[Warm] ­ Increases the red tones within the picture. [Dolby Vision Notification] ­ If enabled, a notification will appear on the screen when Dolby Vision content starts playing. [DNR] ­ Filters and reduces image noise (interference). [MPEG NR] ­ Reduces block noise and mosquito noise caused by digital compression. [Adaptive Luma Control] ­ Dynamic video contrast enhancement to adjust the Luma level of the picture signal automatically. [Local Contrast Control] ­ Enhances contrast in specific areas of the image for better visual impact. [Blue Stretch] ­ When activated, the brightest part of the screen will be leveled down to reduce the saturation. [Gamma] ­ Adjusts the tones between the bright and dark parts of the image. [Game Mode] ­ Activating this mode turns off most post-processing functions to minimize input delay. Available for HDMI sources only

. [PC Mode] ­ Enhances the viewing experience for text reading and mouse movement by scaling the screen to show the entire input image and disabling certain post-processing options. [10-bit Color Reproduction] ­ Reduces the colour banding effect in content with a high colour gradients. [AISR] ­ Artificial Intelligence Super Resolution. This image processing mode sharpens the picture and removes noise. It’s recommended for use with low-quality video sources. [Motion Enhancement] ­ This feature eliminates ghosting and blurring in fast-moving scenes by inserting additional frames between the original frames of the input content. [HDMI RGB Range] ­ This setting adjusts the color range for HDMI input.
[Auto] ­ The TV sets the best option based on the EDID information of connected device. [Full] ­ The RGB signal will be displayed in the range of 0-255, typically used by computers. [Limit] ­ The RGB signal will be displayed in the range of 16-235, required for proper movie display. [Low Blue Light] ­ Enabling this option reduces the emission of blue light, potentially helping to prevent eye strain when reading text. Blue light from TVs can also suppress the release of melatonin, affecting sleep. If you experience sleep issues, consider turning on this feature. [Color Space] ­ This option allows you to switch between different color space standards, defining the range of colors a display can accurately reproduce. [Colour Tuner] ­ Expert settings to fine- tune the colour accuracy of the picture. [11 Point White Balance Correction] ­ Adjusts the white balance by altering the contrast of the three primary colors.

Screen
To adjust the aspect ratio of the viewed content, first go to the input source
for which you wish to change the aspect ratio, then press the (quick settings) button on the remote and select [Screen] from the menu that appears. Within the [Screen] menu, you’ll find the following options: [Automatic] ­[ ]Automatically displays the best image format to ensure the image is in the correct position. May have black lines at the top/bottom and/or sides. [Full] ­ Displays the picture in full screen mode. A 16:9 signal will be displayed in its original proportion, while other picture formats will be stretched to fill the screen. [Super zoom] ­ Displays a 4:3 picture at a 16:9 size; the picture is stretched horizontally and vertically and its left and right edges are enlarged. This crops out some of the top and bottom of the picture. [Unscaled] ­ Displays the picture in its original resolution at the centre of the screen. If the picture has a lower resolution than the TV, black bars will appear on all four sides. [4:3] ­ Displays a 16:9 picture at a 4:3 size, shortening it horizontally. Sidebars appear on both edges of the screen. Displays a 4:3 picture in its original size, with sidebars to fill the 16:9 screen.

EN

[Movie expand 14:9] ­ Stretches a 4:3 picture to fit a 14:9 size, cropping some of the top and bottom. Sidebars appear on both edges of the screen. [Movie expand 16:9] ­ Stretches a 4:3 picture to fit a 16:9 size, cropping some of the top and bottom.
NOTE:
Please note that certain options may not be available for specific inputs.
Sound
To access the sound menu, press the (quick settings) button on the remote and navigate to [Settings] > [Display & Sound] > [Sound]. Within this menu, you’ll find the following options: [Wireless Speaker] ­ Settings for AQUOS Wireless Surround speakers. [Sound Style] ­ Choose from the following presets:
[User] ­ Allows manual adjustment of all settings. [Standard] ­ Optimises sound quality for general content. [Vivid] ­ Enhances the treble and bass for a clearer sound. [Sports] ­ Simulates the larger space of a stadium or other venue. [Movie] ­ Optimises surround sound suitable for movies. [Music] ­ Optimises sound for listening to music. [News] ­ Enhances voice clarity by reducing background sound. [Balance] ­

Controls the balance between the left and right audio channels. [Surround Sound] ­ The surround function creates a simulated surround sound effect from the TV speakers. [Equalizer Detail] ­ Adjusts the volume of different sound frequencies. [Speakers] ­ Turn sound from TV speakers on or off. You may want to turn TV speakers off when you connect an audio system via an optical cable to prevent possible echo. [Speaker Delay] ­ Adds delay to the audio output of the TV speakers. If the picture and sound are out of sync, you can try changing this setting to fix the problem. [eARC] ­ Toggle HDMI eARC between Off and Auto. In Auto mode, the TV transmits audio signals via HDMI to a connected audio device like an AV receiver or soundbar. This feature is available only on HDMI eARC input. [Auto Volume Control] ­ When activated, the volume remains consistent regardless of the input or source. [Downmix Mode] ­ Choose the number of audio output channels. [Surround] ­ Multiple audio channels. Recommended when the TV’s audio is directed to an external multi- speaker system with more than 2 speakers. [Stereo] ­ Two audio channels. Recommended when you’re routing sound to an external stereo system. [DTS DRC] ­ Dynamic range control. It balances loud and quiet sounds, recommended for quieter nighttime listening. [Dolby Audio Processing] ­ Audio settings from Dolby. [Dolby Audio Processing] ­ Enable or disable Dolby sound settings. [Sound Mode] ­ Switch between sound modes optimized by Dolby Audio processing. [Surround Virtualizer] ­ Allows you to turn the Dolby surround sound effect on or off. [Dolby Atmos] ­ Enable this option to experience Dolby Atmos sound when available.
NOTE:

When [Dolby Audio Processing] is off, you can select and adjust [Sound Style], [Balance], [Surround Sound] and [Equalizer Detail].
When [Sound Mode] in [Dolby Audio Processing] is set to [User], you can turn on or off [Surround Virtualizer] and [Dolby Atmos].
[Dialog Enhancer] ­ Enhances speech by emphasizing it over background noise for improved clarity. [DTS Virtual:X] ­ Virtual surround sound settings provided by DTS.
[Virtual:X] ­ Enables or disables the surround sound effect from DTS. [TrueBass] ­ Enhances the bass output from the TV speakers for a deeper and richer sound. [Reset to Default] ­ Restores the default audio settings.

Audio output
To access the Audio output menu, press the (quick settings) button and navigate to [Settings] > [Display & Sound] > [Audio Output]. Within this menu, you’ll find the following options: [Digital Output] ­ Configure settings for the digital audio output.
[Auto] ­ Automatically selects the optimal settings. [Bypass] ­ The audio stream will be processed by the device connected via the digital output (soundbar, AV receiver, etc.). [PCM] ­ The audio stream will be processed by the TV. [Dolby Audio-Dolby Digital Plus] ­ Sends Dolby Digital Plus compressed audio to an external audio device. Requires an HDMI connection to the external audio device. [Dolby Audio-Dolby

Digital] ­ Sends Dolby Digital compressed audio to an external audio device. Recommended when using an optical audio cable. [Digital Output Delay] ­ Adjusts the audio delay to synchronize picture and sound for external speakers connected via a digital audio output.
Network & Internet
To access the Network & Internet menu, press the (quick settings) button and navigate to [Settings] > [Network & Internet]. Within this menu, you’ll find the following options:

Wi-Fi settings
[Wi-Fi] ­ Enables or disables the Wi-Fi function. [AVAILABLE NETWORKS] ­ List of available Wi-Fi networks in your vicinity. Select a network to access the following options:
[Internet connection] ­ Provides information about the status of the internet connection. [IP address] ­ Displays the IP address of the TV. [Randomized MAC address] ­ Displays the MAC address. [Signal Strength] ­ Indicates the strength of the Wi-Fi signal. [Privacy] ­ Offers the option to set a randomised MAC address for increased network anonymity, or to use the standard MAC address of the device. [Proxy settings] ­ Allows configuration of a proxy server for enhanced security. HTTP proxy is used by the browser but may not be user by other apps. [IP settings] ­ You can set the TV to automatically connect to the network (DHCP must be enabled on the router) or manually enter IP configuration settings. [Forget network] ­ Removes the stored password for the selected Wi-Fi network. User confirmation is required after selecting this option. [See All] ­ Displays a complete list of available wireless networks. [Add new network] ­ Allows you to manually add a Wi-Fi network. This is necessary if you have set up an invisible/hidden wireless network on your router. [Data Saver] ­ Automatically adjusts video quality to conserve mobile data usage. [Data usage and alerts] ­ Provides information about data usage, helpful for monitoring data when connecting the TV to a mobile hotspot. [Data Alerts] ­ Enables setup of notifications that appear on the screen whenever a specified data volume is used. [Scanning always available] ­ Some location- based apps periodically scan for other Wi-Fi devices in the vicinity. This function allows scanning for Wi-Fi devices even when Wi-Fi is turned off.

Wired network settings

To connect the TV to a wired network, simply use an Ethernet LAN cable to connect the TV with your router. If DHCP is enabled on both the router and the TV, the TV will automatically connect to the network. [Proxy settings] ­ This option allows you to set up a proxy server for enhanced protection. [IP Settings] ­ You can set the TV to automatically connect to the network (DHCP must be enabled on the router) or manually enter IP configuration settings.

Other settings
[Network Privacy Policy] ­ Provides information about the network privacy policy. [Wake Configs] ­ Configuration for the ability to wake up the TV from the network via a mobile device. Please note that activating either of the functions below will increase the TV’s power consumption in standby mode.
[WoW] ­ Wake on WLAN. This allows you to turn on the TV via wireless network control. [WoL] ­ Wake on LAN. This enables you to turn on the TV via network control over a LAN connection.
Accounts & sign-in
To access the Accounts & sign-in menu, press the (quick settings) button and navigate to [Settings] > [Accounts & sign-in]. Within this menu, you’ll find the following options: [GOOGLE TV ACCOUNTS] ­ This section lists all accounts connected to this TV. The following options are available when you select any of the available accounts:
[Settings lock] ­ You can lock your settings to prevent other users from manipulating your personal account. When enabled, authentication will be required to view or change any account settings. [Your services] ­ You can manually activate which apps/services you want to receive content recommendations on the home screen when you’re signed into your Google Account. [Content preferences] ­ This option will present you with movies and shows that you can rate.

If you haven’t watched the displayed title, you can choose to skip it. Your ratings will be used to tailor recommendations on the home screen to better match your preferences. [Autoplay trailers] ­ Automatically play video trailers for shows and movies. [Hidden purchases & rentals] ­ You can hide a specific movie or show from your library. Press and hold the [OK] button while the title is selected, then choose the [Hide] option. In this menu you can find all hidden titles. [Payment & purchases] ­ You can set up authorisation method for purchases on Google Play Store to prevent unauthorised purchases, including in-app purchases from this account. [Google Assistant] ­ Settings for voice control via Google Assistant for this account.
[Voice control] ­ Enables/disables voice control. [View permissions] ­ View Google Assistant permission. [Personal results] ­ You can turn on personal results to allow the Google Assistant to read or show results specific to you. [Searchable apps] ­

Choose which apps’ content shows up when you search. When an app is not searchable, you won’t see content from the app in your search results. [SafeSearch filter] ­ SafeSearch can help you block inappropriate or explicit images from your Google Search results. The SafeSearch filter isn’t 100% accurate, but it helps you avoid most adult content. This setting is shared with all accounts on this TV. [Apps only mode] ­ When enabled, this will hide Google’s recommendations from your home screen along with your ability to give feedback on movies or shows or add them to your watchlist. You can access all the apps installed on the device. [Remove] ­ Removes the currently selected account. All data related to this account will be deleted from the TV, including associated kids accounts. [Add an account] ­ Adds a new account. You’ll go through setup steps to add the account and configure permissions, privacy, and personalization. [Add a kid] ­ This option allows you to create a special account for kids that will be linked to your own account. Parental control and screen time limits can be set up on this account.

Privacy
To access the Privacy menu, press the (quick settings) button and navigate to [Settings] > [Privacy]. Within this menu, you’ll find the following options: [Location] ­ Settings for location services. In this menu, you’ll also find a list of apps that have recently requested location access.
[Location status] ­ Enabling this option allows Wi-Fi to estimate the location of this TV. [Scanning always available] ­ Allows location services to scan for Wi-Fi networks even when the TV’s Wi-Fi is turned off. [Usage & Diagnostics] ­ Enable this option if you wish to provide Google with anonymous diagnostic information and usage data. [Ads] ­ Settings for advertisements. You can reset your advertising ID to reset personalized ads. Alternatively, you can opt out of personalized ads, which will result in receiving less relevant ads. [Google Assistant] ­ Settings for voice control via Google Assistant for this account. [Voice control] ­ Enables/disables voice control. [View permissions] ­ View Google Assistant permission. [Personal results] ­ You can turn on personal results to allow the Google Assistant to read or show results specific to you. [Searchable apps] ­ Choose which apps’ content shows up when you search. When an app is not searchable, you won’t see content from the app in your search results. [SafeSearch filter] ­ SafeSearch can help you block inappropriate or explicit images from your Google Search results. The SafeSearch filter isn’t 100% accurate, but it helps you avoid most adult content. This setting is shared with all accounts on this TV. [Payment & Purchases] ­ You can set up authorisation method for purchases on Google Play Store to prevent unauthorised purchases, including in-app purchases from this account. [App permissions] ­ View and adjust app permissions categorized by TV function for each app. [Special app access] ­ Additional special permissions for apps, such as displaying apps over other apps, access to notifications, or certain directories. [Security & Restrictions] ­ Allows installation of apps from sources other than the Play Store. Enabling this setting makes your device and personal data more vulnerable to unknown apps from sources outside the Play Store. You’re solely responsible for any damage or data loss resulting from using these apps.

Apps
To access the Apps menu, press the (quick settings) button and navigate to [Settings] > [Apps]. Within this menu, you’ll find the following options: When selecting an app, you will get these options: [Open] ­ Launches the application. [Force stop] ­ Stops the application to free up device resources. [Uninstall] ­ Removes the application. Keep in mind that certain core applications cannot be uninstalled. [Storage used] ­ Information about used storage space. [Clear data] ­ Resets the app to its initial state, erasing all user-generated data linked to the app. [Clear cache] ­ Removes temporary files and data stored by the app on your device to help it run faster and improve performance. Clearing the cache can resolve issues like app slowdowns or glitches. [Clear defaults] ­ Resets any choices you’ve previously made for opening certain types of content or links. For example, if you’ve set a specific browser app as your default for opening links, clearing defaults will prompt you to choose again the next time you try to open a link. [Notifications] ­ Activates or deactivates notifications from the app. [Permissions] ­ Displays and allows modification of permissions for the app.

NOTE:
Some options listed above may not be available for all apps. System
To access the System menu, press the (quick settings) button and navigate to [Settings] > [System]. Within this menu, you’ll find the following options: [Accessibility] ­ Provides access to special functions for hearing and visually impaired individuals. You’ll find the following options:
[Captions] ­ Detailed settings for captions that appear at the bottom of the screen. [High contrast text] ­ Activating this option adds contrasting borders around the user menu text, making it more readable. [Text to speech] ­ Allows you do download and install Text to Speech engine that converts on-screen text into spoken words, providing an audio representation of the text content. This feature is particularly useful for individuals with visual impairments. [Accessibility shortcut] ­ ]

This option lets you set up a shortcut to activate an accessibility feature by pressing and holding the (back) and (down arrow) buttons on the remote control for 3 seconds. You can enable or disable this shortcut. In the [Shortcut service] menu, you can specify which accessibility service should be activated by the shortcut. [About] ­ Provides information about the TV and its software. In this menu, you can check for new software updates, change the TV’s name, or restore the TV to its factory default settings. [Date & Time] ­ Adjusts the system time and date. [Automatic date & time] ­ When enabled, the TV synchronizes its time to the incoming digital television signal. If connected to the internet, the clock will also be updated from here. When disabled, you can manually set the clock. [Set date] ­ Displays information about the current date. If the automatic time update is disabled, you can manually adjust the date. [Set time] ­ Displays information about the current time. If the automatic time update is disabled, you can manually adjust the time. [Set time zone] ­ Lets you adjust the time offset for your time zone. [Use 24-hour format] ­ Allows you to choose between a 12-hour and a 24-hour format for displaying the time.

NOTE:
It’s important to ensure that you have set the correct date and time. Some apps may not function properly if the date and/or time is incorrect. [Language] ­ Selects the menu language. The selected menu language will also be set for voice recognition. [Keyboard] ­ Configures the on-screen keyboard. [Storage] ­ Provides information related to data storage. [Ambient mode] ­ Settings for the screen saver. [Power & Energy] ­ Settings related to power consumption.
[Power on behavior] ­ Determines what appears on the screen after turning on the TV. You can choose between the home screen or the last watched input. [Energy saver] ­ Allows you to set a time after which the TV will automatically turn off if there is no user activity on the home screen. [Power] ­ Settings related to the automatic standby mode of the TV. The following options are available:

[Sleep Timer] ­ Lets you set the sleep timer so the television automatically switches off after a set amount of time. [Picture off] ­ Allows you to turn off the display. To turn the display back on, press the [standby] button on the remote control. [Switch Off Timer] ­ Controls the amount of time the TV will continue to operate without any buttons being pressed on the TV or remote control before going into standby. [Auto Sleep] ­ Controls the amount of time the TV will continue to operate without any buttons being pressed while switched on input, which does not receive a signal. [Timer] ­ Setup of timers for automatic TV start or power off. The following options are available: [Power On Time Type] ­ Set up whether the TV should start automatically. Set [On] to repeat this process every day. Set [Once] to start the TV only once on the first occasion. [Auto Power On Time] ­ Set the time when the TV will automatically start up. [Power Off Time Type] ­ Set up whether the TV should turn off automatically. Set [On] to repeat this process every day. Set [Once] to turn off the TV only once on the first occasion. [Auto Power Off Time] ­ Set the time when the TV will automatically turn off. [Cast] ­ Settings related to who can control your media while casting. [System sounds] ­ Enable this option if you prefer to hear sounds of the system menu. [Store Mode] ­ Activates shop demonstration mode. [Restart] ­ This option restarts the TV. Resetting your TV is an effective method to resolve some issues.

Remotes & Accessories

To access the Remotes & Accessories menu, press the (quick settings) button and navigate to [Settings] > [Remotes & Accessories]. Remotes & Accessories menu allows you to pair Bluetooth devices with your TV. [To pair your Bluetooth remote with voice control:] 1. Press the (quick settings) button, then select [Settings] > [Remotes & Accessories].
2. Follow the on-screen instructions to pair the remote with the TV. 3. The name of your remote will appear on the TV screen. Press [OK] to
confirm the pairing. [To pair other Bluetooth devices:] 1. Press the (quick settings) button, then select [Settings] > [Remotes & Accessories].
2. Activate the pairing mode on your Bluetooth device. For details, refer to the instruction manual of your device.
3. The name of your device will appear on the TV screen. Use the remote control to select it and confirm by pressing [OK].
Using the TV with other devices
Playing content stored on a USB device
Connect a USB storage device to the USB port of the television to enjoy photo, music, and video files stored on the device. Connect the USB device to your television and turn it on. 1. Press the (home) button, select “Apps” from the Home Page, and
select the MultiMediaPlayer (MMP) from the app list. 2. Browse the list of folders and files and select the desired file. 3. Press [OK] and playback will start.
NOTE: Depending on the image dimension, file size, and number of files
in a folder, some photo images or folders take time to display.

Displaying the contents of the USB device may take some time depending on the content.
While accessing the USB device, do not disconnect power from the television or USB device as the data may be corrupted.
Depending on the file, playback may not be possible. Some photos and movies may be magnified, resulting
in low picture quality. Depending on the size and aspect ratio, images may not be displayed in full screen. It may take a long time to display a photo, depending on the file or settings. If “MultiMediaPlayer” cannot be found in the favourite’s apps, you can add it from the apps listing. The USB ports on the television support FAT32 and NTFS file systems. If your digital still camera does not work with your television, try to set the USB connection settings on your camera to Mass Storage.

Chromecast built-in

The Chromecast built-in feature on your TV allows you to easily stream content from your phone, tablet, or computer to your TV. Follow these instructions to use Chromecast built-in on your Google TV:

1. Make sure your TV and the device you want to cast from are both connected to the same Wi-Fi network.

2. On your device, open the app you want to cast from, such as YouTube or Netflix.

3. Look for the (cast) icon in the app, which looks like a rectangle with a Wi-Fi signal in the corner.

4. Tap the devices.

If you want to stop casting, simply tap the (cast) icon again and select “Stop casting”. In addition to casting from individual apps, you can also use your TV to mirror your entire device screen. Follow these steps to use screen mirroring:

1. On your device, open the settings app and navigate to the “Screen mirroring” or “Cast screen” option.

2. Select your TV from the list of available devices.

3. Your device screen will now be mirrored on your TV.

To stop screen mirroring, simply navigate back to the “Screen mirroring” or “Cast screen” option on your device and select “Stop mirroring”. Note that some apps may not support casting or screen mirroring, and that the quality of the stream may be affected by the strength of your Wi-Fi connection. If you have trouble using Chromecast built-in on your Google TV, make sure your devices are connected to the same network and that you are following the correct steps.

Google Assistant
Google Assistant is a powerful feature on your Google TV that allows you to control your TV using voice commands. Here are some examples of how you can use Google Assistant on your Google TV:
1. To start using Google Assistant, press and release the (microphone) button on your remote.
2. Then speak into the microphone.
3. You can use Google Assistant to search for content, open apps, adjust volume, and more. For example, you can say “Play some action movie” or “Open YouTube”.
4. You can also use Google Assistant to control smart home devices that are compatible with your Google account. For example, you can say “Turn off the lights” or “Set the thermostat to 21 degrees”.
5. If you have multiple Google accounts set up on your Google TV, you can switch between them by saying “Switch account” followed by your preferred account.
Google Assistant can make it easier and more convenient to control your TV and other smart devices in your home.

NOTE: Google Assistant requires an Internet connection. Google Assistant is not available in certain languages and countries/regions.
Pairing the remote control with the TV For Google Assistant to work with your voice remote, you must first pair the remote with the TV: 1. Press the (home) button, then select [Settings] and press [OK]. 2. The Quick settings menu appears. Keep the cursor on the Settings
symbol and press the [OK] button again to enter the Settings menu. 3. Then select [Remotes & Accessories] > [Pair accessory]. 4. Follow the on-screen instructions to pair the remote control with the
TV. 5. The name of your remote will appear on the TV Screen. Press [OK] to
confirm the pairing.
Pairing your smartphone with the TV You can also utilize your smartphone to control the TV via Google Assistant. Follow these steps to pair your phone with the TV: 1. Ensure your smartphone and the TV are on the same network. 2. Launch the [Google TV] app on your smartphone. If you don’t have
the app, you can search for and download it from Google Play or the App Store. 3. Near the bottom right of your smartphone, tap “Remote Control”. 4. Select the device you want to connect to. 5. Enter the code that displays on your TV screen. 6. Tap “Pair”. [Control your TV with voice] Once paired, you can use your phone as a remote. Press the Google Assistant button and ask a question or search for content to watch.
Configuring the TV
Downloading new apps
Your TV comes with a variety of pre-installed apps, but you may want to download additional apps to customize your viewing experience. Here’s how you can download more apps on your Google TV: 1. Press the (home) button on your remote control to open the home
screen. 2. Navigate to the [Apps] section on the home screen. 3. Use the search bar at the top of the screen to search for the app you
want to download. You can also browse through categories or top charts to find popular apps. 4. Select the app you want to download. 5. If the app is free, select [Install]to start the download. If the app is not free, select the price and follow the prompts to complete the purchase. 6. Once the app is downloaded, you can find it in the [Apps] section on your home screen. Note that some apps may not be compatible with your TV or may not be available in your country. If you have trouble downloading an app, check the app’s compatibility and availability information. You can also download apps to your Google TV using your phone or computer. To do this, navigate to the Google Play Store on your phone or computer and select the app you want to download. Then, select your Google TV from the list of available devices and follow the prompts to complete the download.
Creating and switching accounts
Having multiple accounts on Google TV offers several benefits, especially in households where multiple users with different preferences and

needs share the same TV. Each account can have its own viewing history, watchlist, and recommendations on the home screen.
Creating a New Account
1. Press the (home) button on your remote to access the home screen.
2. Navigate to your profile logo, located at the top left corner of the screen, and select it.
3. This will bring up the account switching screen. 4. Choose the option to [Add account]. 5. Follow the on-screen prompts to enter the required information for
the new account, such as email and password. If you’re creating a kid’s profile, you’ll be guided through additional setup steps.
Switching Between Accounts
1. Press the (home) button on your remote to access the home screen.
2. Locate the profile logo at the top left corner of the screen. 3. Select the profile logo to bring up the account switching screen. 4. A list of available accounts will appear on the screen. 5. Highlight and select the account you want to switch to using the
remote’s navigation buttons. 6. Confirm your selection by pressing the [OK] button.
Securing your account with a password Parents may want to secure their account with a password to prevent kids from bypassing account restrictions by switching to a parent account. To secure your account, please follow these steps:
1. Press the (quick settings) button and navigate to [Settings] > [Accounts & sign-in].
2. Select your account. 3. Select [Settings lock] and enable it. Now, each time you want to switch to your account, you will need to authenticate.
Parental control
This TV offers a variety of parental control options that allow you to restrict access to certain content and apps. By setting up parental controls on your TV, you can help ensure that your children are only accessing age- appropriate content and using the device in a safe and responsible manner. Here’s how you can set up parental controls on your TV:
1. While watching live TV, press the (quick settings) button. 2. Select [Parental controls] from the list of options. 3. Enter the PIN code that you created during first time installation of TV. You can change these options in the Parental Control menu: [Channels Blocked] ­ Block specified TV channels. [Program Restrictions] ­ You can enable program restrictions based on the rating of the broadcast content. In the [Ratings] menu, you can specify restrictions based on age. [Inputs Blocked] ­ Selected inputs will be locked in the Sources menu and 4-digit password will be required to switch to them. [Change PIN] ­ Change your 4-digit password. Note that parental controls are not foolproof and may not catch all inappropriate content. It’s important to monitor your children’s use of the TV and talk to them about safe and responsible viewing habits.
Kids profile Beyond the standard parental control settings outlined above, Google TV also provides the option to create a dedicated profile for your children. This account will be linked to your primary account, enabling you to implement parental control measures and set screen time limits. To create a profile for your child, follow these steps: 1. Press the (home) button to access the home screen.

2. Select your profile logo situated at the top left of the screen and confirm with OK.
3. This will display the account switching screen. Choose [Add account]. 4. Then select [Add a kid]. 5. Proceed through the on-screen setup instructions to create the new
profile.
Sleep timer
The sleep timer feature on your TV allows you to set a time limit for your TV to turn off automatically, which is a useful feature if you like to watch TV before going to bed. Here’s how you can use the sleep timer on your Google TV:

1. Press the (home) button on your remote control.
   2. Select the (settings) icon in the top right corner of the screen. 3. The Quick settings menu appears. Keep the cursor on the Settings
   symbol and press the [OK] button again to enter the Settings menu. 4. Scroll down and select [System] > [Power & Energy] > [Power] >
   [Sleep Timer]. 5. Choose the amount of time you want your TV to stay on before
   turning off automatically. You can choose from preset options, such as 30 minutes or 60 minutes. Your Google TV will now automatically turn off after the specified amount of time has passed. If you turn off your TV manually before the timer expires, the timer will be cancelled.
   Date & time
   Press the (quick settings) button, then select [Settings] > [System] > [Date & Time]. Within this menu, you’ll find the following options: [Automatic date & time] ­ When enabled, the TV synchronizes its time to the incoming digital television signal. If connected to the internet, the clock will also be updated from here. When disabled, you can manually set the clock. [Set date] ­ Displays information about the current date. If automatic time update is disabled, you can manually adjust the date. [Set time] ­ Displays information about the current time. If automatic time update is disabled, you can manually adjust the time. [Set time zone] ­ Lets you adjust the time offset for your time zone. [Use 24-hour format] ­ Allows you to choose between a 12-hour and a 24-hour format for displaying the time.
   NOTE: Ensure you have set correct date and time. Some apps will not work if you have incorrect date and/or time.
   Factory reset
   Before disposing of, reselling or gifting the TV, a factory reset is required. Otherwise, unauthorised persons could gain access to your personal data. Performing a factory reset on the TV will restore the device to its original factory settings, erasing all data, settings, and personalization. Please note that this process will delete all apps, accounts, and data associated with your Google TV. Here’s how to do a factory reset: 1. Press the (home) button on your remote control. 2. Go to [Settings] > [System] > [About] > [Reset]. 3. Then confirm [Factory Reset] 4. Select and confirm [Factory Reset] once more.
2. Select and confirm [Erase everything]. After the last step, the factory reset is performed, and you are greeted by the first installation screen when the TV restarts.

Remote control
1. [STANDBY] ­ Switch on the TV when in standby or vice versa. By long pressing of this button, the TV will display a menu offering power down option to energy saving standby mode.
2. [SOURCE] ­ Displays the input/source menu. 3. [NUMBER BUTTONS 0­9] ­ Direct TV channel selection. 4. [MUTE] ­ Mutes the sound or vice versa. 5. [INFO] ­ Press once to view information about the programme you are
currently watching. Press again to view detailed information. Press while the information panel is displayed to view information about the upcoming programme. 6. [PROFILE] ­ Switches between different user profiles. 7. [APPS] ­ Opens the menu with the installed apps. 8. [SETTINGS] ­ Short press: Opens the Settings menu. Long press: Displays virtual keyboard (Live TV mode only). 9. [(//// OK)] ­ Allows you to navigate the on-screen menus and adjust the system settings to your preferences. 10. [BACK] ­ Short press: Step back in the menu. Long press: Exit the currently displayed menu. 11. [HOME] ­ Short press: Displays the TV’s Home screen. Long press: Opens the Settings menu. 12. [LIVE GUIDE] ­ Short press: Opens the 7-day TV guide (digital TV mode). Long press: Displays the list of inputs. 13. [VOL +/-] ­ Increases/decreases the sound level. 14. [CH +/-] ­ Switches to the next/previous channel in the sequence. 15. [NETFLIX] ­ Access to the Netflix app. 16. [PRIME VIDEO] ­ Access to the Prime Video app. 17. [YOUTUBE] ­ Access to the YouTube app. 18. [FAV APP] ­ Long press: A list of apps opens. Select the app you want to assign to the FAV APP button for quick access. Short press: Launches the remembered app. 19. [AUDIO] ­ Opens the audio track menu. 20. [SUB] ­ Turns on/off SUBs at the bottom of the screen. 21. [TEXT] ­ Turns teletext on/off. 22. [TV] ­ Switches the TV to the last watched input. 23. [PLAY/PAUSE] ­ Play/pause media. 24. [REWIND] ­ Playback in rewind mode. Press multiple times to change the rewind speed. 25. [FAST FORWARD] ­ Playback in fast forward mode. Press multiple times to change the playback speed. 26. [STOP] ­ Stop playback. 27. [COLOUR BUTTONS] ­ Execute corresponding function at that time. 28. [MICROPHONE] ­ Press and hold to use your voice to access entertainment, control smart devices, get answers on screen, and more.
