VERIFY THE CONTENTS
The following items are included inside the box: 24 bags (nozzle + protection cover).
GENERAL CHARACTERISTICS
adjustable botton nozzle is a cleaning system installed in the bottom of concrete swimming pools which drives the water. In addition to cleaning, it also reduces the cost of chemical products and heating. Flow and range of influence can be regulated by controlling the opening degree of the inner cover. The characteristics of the nozzle at a pressure of 2 Kg are as follows: 1.3 m operating range and a maximum flow of 10 m3/h. They can be installed easily and quickly, saving a great deal of time in the installation and levelling of the tubing on the bottom of the swimming pool.
INSTALLATION
The nozzles will be installed and distributed throughout the bottom of the swimming pool, taking into account that the operating range of the nozzle is approximately 1.3 m, depending on the pump used. The nozzle should be located between 0.6m and lm from the vertical walls. In the final section of the tubing, we recommend the use of the PVC wall connection tube (no. 5) specially designed for the nozzle or PVC tube 075 PN0.6. If the wall connection tube is used, you must ensure that the finished bottom is located in the cutting zone already marked on the wall connection tube. Never cut below the band marked with the letters “DO NOT CUT”.(Fig. 1) If the PN0.6 tube is used it should project approximately 200 mm above the finished bottom (Fig. 2). The wall connection tube as well as the 075 PN 0.6 tube must be aligned perpendicular to the finished bottom to ensure that the alignment of the nozzle swivel joint can be easily adjusted later by up to 8° (Fig. 1 and 2).
ASSEMBLY
After completing the process of concreting or grunting and installing the ceramic or granite coating, then assemble the nozzle. Trim the projecting tubing until it is level with the concrete or covering. Place PVC glue on the outer part of the nozzle and the inner part of the swivel joint (Fig. 3) so that the two PVC parts are firmly joined to prevent water leakage. Cover the housing unit with glue and insert it in the PVC tube or the wall connection tube (no.5). Tighten to obtain the proper alignment (Fig. 3).
ATTENTION: IT IS VERY IMPORTANT TO GLUE THE INNER PART OF THE SWIVEL JOINT.
START-UP
Before filling the swimming pool, open the passage of the water, and the protection covers (no. 4) will be released by the water pressure. After the protection covers have been removed, insert the inner body by turning to the left to “CLOSE” (Fig. 5). The unit will now be ready for use. Use a screwdriver to regulate the flow of water, following the instructions under the faceplate paragraph (Fig. 4)
