Assembly Caution:
Be attentive when assembling Dolly, Tripod & Crane to prevent equipment damage. Avoid assembly under the influence of alcohol or drugs. -
Watch Your Hands:
Operate cautiously to avoid pinching hands or fingers between arms. Ensure secure connection of all Crane sections. -
Stability Check:
Operate the Crane only on a leveled, stable surface. Connect steel cables for stabilization without hindering Crane movements. -
Weather Awareness:
Exercise caution when operating in bad weather. Protect the pan-tilt/gimbal head and control bar from rain to prevent damage. -
Safety Precautions:
Avoid operation near high-voltage power cables. Keep the Crane’s surroundings clear and establish the correct weight balance before telescoping. -
Battery Maintenance:
Monitor battery levels to prevent functional issues. Fold the Crane for longer transfers and use locking pins for stability when adjusting height. -

Anchor Dolly Setup
Assembling the Anchor Dolly
- Loosen both the knobs from the center of the anchor dolly and stretch its legs on the floor.
- Then tighten both the knobs to secure the legs.
NOTE : To keep the dolly in a static position (non-movable), lock down the wheels by using provided brakes.
Attaching Track Wheels
- Loosen the Allen bolts using the 4mm Allen key & remove the studio wheels.
- Repeat the same process for detaching the other studio wheels.
- Insert the track wheel (Not Included) onto the dolly, then tighten the Allen bolts using the 4mm Allen key.
- Repeat the same process for attaching the other track wheels.
- Your Dolly with Track wheels is ready. Feature: Dolly gives you the flexibility to move the crane as & when required.
Euro Mount
Feature: Industry standard Euro/Elemac mount threads are available on dolly.
You can attach any Euro base accessories like bazooka risers and mount the
camera on it.
Gravity Jib Stand Setup

Now open the Gravity stand and stretch its legs on the floor as per the requirement.
NOTE : Being telescopic, the stand’s height can be adjusted according to shooting requirements. The Stand also features micro adjustment on legs, for easy balancing. -
Loosen the Jib Stand knob and extent the length of the stand leg.

Now secure it with the Locking Pin and tighten the knob.
-
Repeat the same process to extend the height of the other stand legs.
-
Remove all the rubber feet.
-
Insert plastic stopper onto the Gravity stand.
-
Then insert the Allen bolt.
-
Tighten the Allen bolt using the Screw Driver (Not included) and insert the rubber foot.
-
Repeat the same process for the other stand legs.
Gravity Stand Mounting on Dolly

Now mount the stand on the dolly.
NOTE : This excellent combination of Proaim Gravity Tripod Stand and Anchor Dolly is sturdy enough to support the Crane when it’s fully loaded and weighed. -
Wrap the safety belt around the Dolly and the stand and insert it into the buckle to secure the stand.

Repeat the same process to secure the other stand legs with the Safety belt.
Scissor Telescopic Camera Jib Crane Setup
- Insert the bolt into the hub mounting hole of the Scissor Crane.
- Now, secure the bolt using a 18mm wrench.
- Place Scissor Jib with the Hub Mounting on top of the Jib Stand.
- Insert the Locking knob on the bottom of the Hub Mounting and tighten it.
Feature : You can check the leveling of the Scissor Jib using the Bubble Leveler after which the stand’s height can me adjusted to keep your Jib levelled.
- Loosen the bolt of the Gimbal bracket and open it.
- Then, insert the two guide rods on either side of the Crane.
- After inserting the two guide rods, tighten the bolts to secure them.
- Insert the cable guide rod into the boom lock bracket and secure the rod by tightening the bolt.
Feature : Pan Lock enables locking the jib’s pan movement for achieving high/low angle shots. Tilt Lock allows you to fix the jib’s tilt angle to get linear tracking shots.
NOTE : While using the jib at extremely high angle, the rear part of Gimbal will touch Gimbal Bracket. Therefore, adjust the angle of Gimbal Bracket by loosening the bolt of Guide Rod Mount.
Weight Rod Setup

Insert the Weight rod into the weight holder of the controller box and tighten the knob.
-
Insert weights into the weight rod.
NOTE : Weight will be added according to the setup requirement to balance the camera securely. -
Insert the weight closer and press its lever to secure it.
-
Loosen the knob of the Jib Controller and slide it into the weight rod.
Tighten the Jib controller’s knob to secure it. -
Connect the Jib Controller cable to the 6-pin cable connector (Remote Out).

Connect the Motor Driver Cable to the 2-pin cable connector (Motor Out).
-
Now, mount your V-Mount Battery (Not Included) onto the Battery Plate.
NOTE : The system is integrated with a V-Mount Battery Plate, which adapts a 14.8V V-mount battery to power the drive system. -
After attaching the V-mount battery, you can operate the Scissor Jib in 2 alternate ways.
- If you press the button from battery side, it will run on the V-mount battery.
- If you press it from the power side, it will run on the electric power supply.

You can rotate the Scissor Crane 360° by loosening the knob.
LCD Monitor Arm Setup
Connect the Monitor Arm to the Hub Mounting of the jib and tighten it using the provided screws.
Feature : The LCD Mounting Arm helps in attaching an LCD monitor for better viewing of shots; the arm can be mounted on either side of the Hub Mounting.
- Fix LCD Monitor (Not Included) on Monitor Arm and lock it using the knob.
- To power your LCD, insert its first port in the power plug of the motor and the second port in the back side of the LCD.
- Now, the LCD is assembled and ready to use.
Gimbal Fluid Head Setup

Slide the Gimbal Fluid Head to the Jib’s mounting plate and tighten the knob.
NOTE : Gimbal Fluid Head comes attached with the Jib plate. In case it gets detached, you can easily mount it. -
To adjust the tension on the Fluid Head, loosen or tighten the Gimbal Fluid Head’s knob as per your requirement.

Now, slide the Ronin (Not Included) on the Gimbal Fluid Head and tighten the knob to lock it in its position. NOTE : Without any camera setup this jib gets balanced at 24kg weight. If the camera weight is 1kg, the jib is balanced with 24+3.5 = 27.5kg.

Loosen the side knob of the Ronin Controller bracket and slide it onto the weight rod and tighten the controller’s knob to secure it.

Now, loosen the top knob of the Ronin Controller bracket and insert the controller into the controller bracket’s knob and tighten it.
Attaching the Cable Tie
- After completing Scissor Jib installation, retract the jib arm.
- Attach cable ties to the hole of each frame.
- Starting from the Hub Mounting, insert the cables into the cable tie.
- Now, tighten the cable ties.
NOTE : Maximize the length of scissor jib arm to ensure that the cables remain spiraled, as shown in the image.
Tri-Way Dampener System Setup
Remove Gimbal Fluid head from Jib’s Head
- Loosen the knob of the Gimbal Fluid Head and press the push button.
- Then, remove the Gimbal fluid head.
- Loosen and remove both the screws from the mounting plate using the screwdriver (Not Included).
- Then, remove the mounting plate.
- Loosen and remove the bolts from both sides of the rod using a 3mm Allen key.
- Then, remove the rod.
Tri-Way Dampener System Assembly
- The Proaim Tri-Way Damper is your key to achieving the most creative, stable, and smooth shots possible. It’s designed to minimize roll & tilt errors, especially when shooting on moving platforms at varying speeds.
- Loosen and remove the bolt using a 4mm Allen key.
- Now, rotate the top part of the Dampener.
- Loosen and remove the bolt using a 5/16” Allen key.
- Loosen and remove the bolt using a 7/32” Allen key (Not Included).
- Then, remove the mounting plate.
Tri-Way Dampener Mounting
- Attach the Dampener with the L-plate of the jib’s Head.
- Align the holes of the Tri-way Dampener and insert the bolt.
- Tighten the bolt securely using a 5/16” Allen key, as shown in the image.
- Now, securely place the top part of the Dampener into the Dampener holder, ensuring the hole’s alignment.
- Then, insert the bolt and tighten it securely using the 4mm Allen key.
- The Tri-Way Dampener is securely attached to the jib’s Head.
Gimbal Mounting
- Loosen the ratchet knob of the Tri way dampener and slide the Gimbal (Not Included) on it.
- After sliding the Gimbal, re-tighten the knob to secure it.
- The gimbal is securely attached to the Tri-way Dampener.
- You can set the Left & Right damping adjustments by rotating the knobs marked in the image.
- Similarly, you can set the front damping adjustment by rotating the top knob.
Maintenance
Bearing Maintenance
If after a period of time your bearings don’t smoothly, lubricate with light
machine oil. Be sure to keep oil away from your camera, & clean up any over-
spill.
Cleaning
Do not use solvents or harsh cleaners of any kind on your crane. If the unit becomes dirty, use a damp soft cloth or sponge and a mild detergent to gently clean external parts.
Balancing Tips :
Jib self-balancing With 24kg Weight
- If the camera weight is 1kg, the jib is balanced with 24+3.5 = 27.5kg
- If the camera weight is 2kg, the jib is balanced with 24+7= 31kg
- If the camera weight is 10kg, the jib is balanced with 24+35= 59kg
