Installation Instructions
For Breakout Front Fender K59306
A FACTORY SERVICE MANUAL WILL BE HELPFUL IN PERFORMING THIS INSTALLATION. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO PERFORM THIS INSTALLATION IF YOU ARE NOT CONFIDENT IN YOUR ABILITY TO COMPLETE ALL OF THE STEPS IN THE PROCEDURE; CONSULT A TRAINED TECHNICIAN. IMPROPER INSTALLATION COULD RESULT IN SERIOUS INJURY OR DEATH.
Note: Use medium strength thread locker on all bolts and torque to 16-21 ft-lbs.
- Remove front
- Install Kodlin front fender using decorative washers between fender and lower legs. If the original hardware didn’t have washers use washers on inside between bolt head and Longer hardware may be required. Use thread locker on the bolts!
- You may need to double stack washers between fender and lower legs on one side or the other to align fender with tire.
- Align fender front to back with tire and tighten Torque all four bolts to 16-21 ft-lbs.
- If you have modified your ride height, make sure fender does not hit on any other surfaces during maximum wheel travel.
NOTE: No warranty coverage is provided by Kodlin that is due to improper installation or lack of maintenance. Periodic maintenance and inspection are required. It is the installer’s responsibility to ensure that all the fasteners are tightened before operation of the motorcycle. We recommend following the Mfg.’s torque specs.
