WARRANTY TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Stove Kraft Limited warrants to the purchaser of this PIGEON KESSEL ELECTRIC MULTI-COOKER KETTLE for a period of 1Year commencing from the date of purchase of the product, the company will repair or replace free of charge any part or parts of the product, should the company be fully satisfied in its sole directions, that the defect/s is/are due to faulty material or workmanship only. The warranty will be governed by the following clauses.
- The company or their Authorised Service Agent/Dealer will repair / replace all parts that are failing due to faulty material or defective workmanship pertaining to the above product.
- Only the Company or its Authorised Service Agent / Dealer can service /repair or attend to install/reinstall the above product.
- No on-site warranty will be executed. The warranty will be executed only at authorized service centers and in which the authorized representative I dealer is situated including outstation locations. All to and fro traveling and other incidental expenses as prevailing from time to time incurred in connection with the visit of the purchaser to the service location for the purpose of execution of warranty shall be borne by the said purchaser only.
- The warranty extended herein is in lieu of all implied conditions and warranties under the law and is confined to the repair or replacement of defective parts and does not cover any consequential or resulting liability, damage or loss arising from such defects. Further more, the warranty in no case shall extend to the payment or any monetary consideration whatsoever, of the replacement or return of the product as a whole.
- This warranty does not cover corrosive, plastic and glass components adding decorative value to the product.
- The warranty is issued subject to Jurisdiction of Bangalore Court of law.
- The warranty is covered by force Majeure clause. In the event of the above product struck by any natural Calamity, This Warranty stands Null & Void.
IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
CAUTIONS DO’S
- Check the appliance and the supply cord for damage regularly.
- Check your mains supply is the same as that indicated on the product before connecting.
- Ensure that the appliance is used on a firm, flat surface.
- Always close the lid securely, otherwise the appliance may not switch off automatically and may eject boiling water.
- Ensure the appliance is switched off before removing it from the power base.
- Always remove the appliance from the power base before filling or pouring.
- Take care when carrying the appliance before and after boiling water.
- Always pour slowly and do not over tilt the appliance to avoid splashing.
DON’TS
- Never leave the appliance unattended whilst in use.
- Never immerse the appliance in any water or other liquids.
- Never over fill or under fill the appliance and never use without water.
- WARNING- Never open the lid while the water is heating.
- Never move the appliance whilst it is in use.
- Never allow the supply cord to touch hot surfaces.
- Never use the appliance if the supply cord or plug is damaged or if the appliance has been damaged in any manner.
- Never use this appliance with any power base other than the one provided.
- Do not touch hot surfaces i.e. body or lid. Use handles or knobs.
- Do not use the appliance for any other purpose than for heating water.
- Never use the appliance in a bathroom or near any source of water.
- Never use the appliance outdoors.
INTRODUCTION
Thank you for choosing this appliance. The appliance is designed to meet the most stringent quality, performance, and safety requirements. This guide aims to improve your understanding and appreciation of your new appliance by providing simple and informative use and care instructions.
This appliance is intended to be used in household and similar applications such as staff kitchen areas in shops, offices and other working environments and by clients in hotels, motels and other residential type environments.
BEFORE USE
- Remove ALL packaging.
- Ensure the supply voltage is the same as that indicated on the product.
- Fill the appliance with water to the MAX capacity and allow it to boil. Discard the water afterwards and rinse with cold water.
USE – POSITIONING
- Keep the appliance, the power base, and the supply cord away from hotplates, hobs or burners.
- Place the appliance and its base towards the back of the working surface.
- Do not allow the mains lead to hang over the edge of the table or work surface, or anywhere it may be accidentally caught or tripped over.
FILLING
- Remove the appliance from the power base and fill with water between the MIN & MAX markings.
- DO NOT OVERFILL OR UNDER-FILL THE APPLIANCE. If the appliance is overfilled, boiling water may be ejected. If under-filled, the appliance may run dry while operating.
- Place the appliance on the base and ensure the lid is firmly closed.
CARE
Misuse such as overfilling the appliance, allowing excessive scale buildup,
and boiling with water below the MIN mark will reduce the life of the element
and product.
OPERATING THE APPLIANCE

When the switch in the ‘OFF’ position, the appliance is not working and the indicator light is off.
-
When the switch in the position between 70°C and 100°C, the indicator light is on. The appliance should get heated to the required temperature and automatically cut off. When the temperature drop to required temperature, it’ll automatically get heated to the required temperature again.

When the switch in the ’70°C’ position, the appliance should get heated to around 70°C and automatically cut off. When the temperature is below 70°C, the appliance should get heated to 70°C automatically.

When the switch in the ‘100°C ‘ position, the appliance should get°
heated to around 100 C and automatically cut off. When the temperature is below 100°C, the appliance should get heated to 100 automatically. -
When the switch in the ‘MAX’ position, the appliance should get heated to boiling point 100°C and keep continuously heating. And the appliance will not automatic cut-off.

For safety, please turn the switch in the ‘OFF’ position if stop to use the appliance.
SAFETY DEVICES
If the appliance is switched ON with too little water, or no water, it is protected against damage by a safety cut-out which will switch off the power. If the cut-out operates, disconnect the appliance from the mains supply and leave to cool down before refilling with cold water.
CLEANING
- Turn off and unplug the appliance and power base.
- To clean make sure the appliance is empty and, before continuing, ensure the appliance has completely cooled.
- Using a soft, damp cloth and detergent (if necessary) wipe down the appliance.
- Make sure all connectors, sockets and switches are kept dry.
- Do not immerse any part of the product in water or any other liquid.
- Do not use harsh or abrasive cleaners as these can damage the product surfaces.
SCALE & DE-SCALING
- To minimize scale build-up, empty the appliance after every use and do not leave unused water in the appliance over long periods of time.
- Regularly de-scale the appliance using a proprietary brand of de-scaler. Follow the de-scaler instructions thoroughly.
- After de-scaling, clean the appliance and boil with MAX capacity (empty the boiled water and rinse with cold water).

- When cleaning, or storing away, always pull out the plug from the socket outlet. Never yank the cord to disconnect from the outlet, instead grasp the plug and pull to disconnect. Always allow the appliance to cool completely before storing away.
