3.1.Installation Steps
Installation Notes: Before you start the installation, you need: ° A ladder,
ensuring that it is stable and use it with the help of another person if
needed. ° Take the cable clips, screws, and spare adhesive stickers with you.
° Bring a cloth or alcohol wipe to clean the eaves. ° Do not install on rainy
or hot days. Your risk of falling increases in extreme temperatures or
slippery conditions
05
æ Before installation, connect each string light and plug it into power to
make sure every string light can work properly. The string light might not
light up if you plug it into power first and then connect the string light
sections
çPrepare a ladder and make sure it is stable enough or used under another
person’s assistance.
è Figure out the location of the first string light. Make sure the adapter and
control box is long enough to connect to the power supply. Fix the adapter to
the wall surface to alleviate the burden of the string lights. Note: The
waterproof connector with the red washer on the first string light should
connect with the control box.
éClean the surface with cloth or tissues where you plan to install the string
lights. Make sure the surface is clean and dry. It is recommended to
vertically install the string lights 5-10 cm away from the wall surface.
NoteYou can quickly confirm the installation distance with the provided ruler.
06
ê Use the Adhesion Prep Pad to wipe the surface to make 3M paste stronger.Tear
off the 3M gum on the back of a light and firmly press it against the surface
for more than 5 seconds. The slight rotation of the power cord will not affect
the use.
ëUse screw clips to fix the string lights firmly on the eave. Each string
light needs 6 screw clips. The joint between the first string light and the
control box, and the power cords at the top of the gable needs to be secured
with an extra clip.
ì Connect two string lights via the waterproof connectors. Make sure the red
washer on one of the connectors does not fall. Firmly screw the waterproof
connector cap. Repeat steps 4, 5, and 6.You can use the 6ft extension cord
that comes with the package and install on different eaves/peaks of roof
lines.
íAfter connecting all string lights, firmly screw the waterproof connector cap
of the last string light section.
îPlug into power and enjoy your lighting effects.
07

more than 4 extension cords, a signal amplifier needs to be connected before
the first extension cord to ensure signal stability. NoteYou can buy extension
cords and signal amplifiers at ASAHOM’s Amazon store.
