ASAHOM S1023 Smart RGB Outdoor String Lights
Product Information
The ASAHOM LED Bulb String Lights (Model: S1023) are designed for outdoor use with an IP65 water-resistant rating. The string lights can be adjusted in brightness and have a timer feature that can be controlled through the Smart Life app.
Installation
To install your device:
- Connect the string lights and solar module together.
- Hang the light bulbs onto the rope using the hook.
- Note: Only 2 string lights can be connected in a series.
- Caution: The adapter is not waterproof, so exercise caution when using it outdoors.
Pairing Your Device with the Smart Life App
To pair your device with the Smart Life app, follow these
steps:
- Make sure your smartphone or tablet is running iOS 8.0 (or above) or Android 4.3 (or above).
- Download the Smart Life app from the App Store (iOS devices) or Google Play (Android devices).
- Turn on Bluetooth on your smartphone.
- Keep the distance between the smartphone and the control box within 25m (82ft).
- Open the app and tap the + icon in the top right corner to start scanning for devices.
- Tap the device icon when it appears in the scan list.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the pairing process.

To use the ASAHOM LED Bulb String Lights:
Adjusting Color
- Select the desired color.
- Click on the color wheel to adjust the whole string of lights to the same color.
- Click on a specific light bulb to apply the color only to that bulb.
- Click on a light bulb again to turn off the light of that bulb.
Troubleshooting
If you encounter any issues, try the following troubleshooting steps:
- If the app can’t scan the device, ensure that the string lights are powered on and Bluetooth is enabled on your smartphone. Position your smartphone close to the control box and try scanning again. If it still fails to scan, press and hold the button for five seconds until the light starts flashing, then try scanning again.
- If you can’t connect to the app after resetting the device, delete the original device in the app and then press and hold the button for five seconds. Position your smartphone close to the control box and re-add the device in the app.
- If some of the bulbs do not work, unplug the adapter and plug it in again. If the problem persists, please contact Customer Service.

How to use
Adjust Color
- : After selecting, click on the color wheel to adjust the whole string of lights to the same color.

Troubleshooting
- APP can’t scan the device
- Ensure the string lights are powered on.

- Position your smartphone close to the control box, then try again.
- If it still fails to scan, Press and hold the button for five seconds, the light starts to flash and try again.
- Can’t connect to app after device reset.
- Delete the original device in the APP.
- Press and hold the button for five seconds, position your smartphone close to the control box, then re-add the device in the APP.
- Some of the bulbs do not work
- Unplug the adapter, then plug it in again.
