Folding Wall/Door Rack for C-Stands
INSTRUCTIONS
Introduction
Thank you for choosing Impact.
Impact’s Folding C-Stand Wall Mount system is ideal for studios, rental
houses, and grip trucks where floor space is tight. The two sturdy steel
brackets boast a 150 lb. load capacity, and they are designed to hold up to
six C-stands. The base and top brackets can be attached to any flat surface,
like a wall or door, and they can be configured to fit any size C-stand. When
the brackets are not in use, they conveniently fold up and out of the way for
a clutter-free workspace.

Setup
Before You Start
Multiple kits and C-stands can easily weigh over 100 pounds, and the rack will
be under constant stress as you load and unload your C-stands. Mounting the
stand to a solid surface such as wood, wood-backed sheet rock, or concrete and
masonry with the correct anchors is recommended.
Mounting the base and top to sheetrock is possible, but only with specialty
anchors or toggle bolts. Consult a qualified contractor for proper
installation.
Attaching the Brackets
- Loosen the wing nut, fold the base down so it’s perpendicular to the wall and tighten the wing nut.
- Set the base at the desired height, and use a torpedo level to ensure the base is horizontal so the stands will have a level surface to rest on. Use the base as a template to mark the location of the holes in the surface.
- Attach the base to the surface with 5/16 (M8) screws, and make sure it’s solidly attached, without wobbling or movement.
- Place a C-stand on the base.
- Place the riser into the channel of the top bracket. Raise the top bracket until the brake castings are sitting on the left side of the channel, and mark one of the holes on the surface.
- Install a screw on one side, and leave it loose so the top can rotate.
- Remove the C-stand.
Place a level on the top edge of the top bracket, and mark the other hole.
When properly set up, the closed C-stand will rest on the base, and the riser locking knob will rest snugly on the top bracket.
When the brackets are not in use, they can fold flat against the wall or door.
Loosen the base’s wing nut, fold it up to the wall, and tighten the wing nut
to keep it in place.
The top bracket folds up or down and should have sufficient resistance when
folding. If it’s loose, use a 17 mm (11/16”) wrench to tighten the bolts.
