Chapter 1 Package Check

Please check the package of the camera for damages. After opening the package, please check the whether all the items are complete according to the table shown bellow. If all items are complete, then devices are ready for installation.

Introduction

This product is a video and audio intelligent monitoring product for vehicle. It uses advanced image acquisition technology, high-definition video recording technology, high-fidelity recording

technology and high-precision positioning technology to record the front vision of the vehicle, synchronize the video and audio in the vehicle and apply the vehicle positioning business. It uses the algorithm function of intelligent AI to supervise the driver’s driving behavior, which ensures the service quality and protects the legitimate rights and interests of drivers and passengers. The equipment features intensive functions, excellent performance, stability, small size, low power consumption and easy installation and maintenance. The product can be widely applied to vehicles such as ride-hailing car, taxi, official car and other industries to meet the demand of video recording and positioning.

Press Wi-Fi button to enable Wi-Fi AP.
When the dashcam is on, press shortly the RESET button with a solid insulator to restart the device. Press and hold for 5 seconds to restore to the default setting.

Wiring

Main cable explanation:

① Power interface: 8pin BMV plug pin end, connected to ④.
② CH2: 4 pin BMV plug male terminal, connected to 4pin BMV plug camera.
③CH3: 4 pin BMV plug male terminal, connected to 4pin BMV plug camera.
④  Extension interface: 8pin BMV female terminal; connectable to extension cable to realize USB, analog video, RS232 functions. Power cord explanation:
⑤ Power cable: connect ACC to the power of the vehicle and VCC to the positive end of the cable, GND to the ground.
⑥  Alarm 2: to be connected to the emergency alarm button. Press this button and the alarm signal and pictures will be uploaded to the platform connected.
⑦ Alarm 1: same as alarm2.
⑧  RS232: Serial port.

Overview of the Camera

Install the TF Card and SIM Card

The TF card is to for storing the recordings and the SIM card for connecting to 3G/4G network. The installation method of them are the same.
The dashcam records videos in a loop. When the TF card storage is used up, then later recordings will cover previous recordings. Please backup the recordings after an accident or other important events.
Open the cover with the bump of the cover.

Put the TF card into either TF1 or TF2 slot until hearing a click sound.   Put on the cover and tighten the screw on the screw hole.

Install the Dashcam

The dashcam can be installed on the front car windshield as shown in the following.  Clean the windshield and make sure that the surface is dust free.

Tear off the 3M release paper and install the device; connect it to power cord and wire the device as shown bellow.

Connect the cables: ACC to the vehicle ACC, VCC to the positive of the vehicle power, GND to the ground

Adjust the camera to the proper angle and fix the camera angle by tightening the fixing screw.

Install Mobile Camera

The camera can be installed on the inside of the front windshield as shown in the follows.  Clean the windshield and make sure that the surface is dust free.

Tear off the 3M release paper and install the device; connect it to power cord and wire the device as shown above.

After fixing the camera, rotate the camera to the proper angle. Aim the anti- rotation lock to the camera fixing gap. Check the angle again. When the angle is correct, then tear off the anti-rotation sticker

After installation, the dismantlement of the camera should be under the guide of professionals to damage to the camera.
