  2. This product is intended to be supplied by a UL Listed Power Adapter( FSP FSP090 DBBN3 FSP090 RBBM1 rate d 19 Vdc, 4.74 A MAX 90W . for model ATC63E , and Tma 40 degree C. Please contact AIMobile for further information and assistance.

  3. The product is equipped with shipping mode for battery protected and power saving, please charge the embedded battery of the computer: Connect the adaptor on the ATC63E computer. (“ N ” on the description of parts .) Please charge the device to 100% when you use this computer for the first time.

  4. Push the Power button (“ I ” on description of parts .) to start the computer.

  5. While the computer is running, push the power button disable LCD backlight and initiate the power saving mode . Push the power button again will enable the backlight and exit the power saving mode ; press the power button for 4 seconds while computer is running, the system will be shut down.

Intended use
The ATC63E is intended for integration with hospital system. It is designed for general purpose for hospital environment. For data collection and display for reference. It shall not be used for life-supporting system.

Intended user group
The primary users for the ATC63E series are professional healthcare personnel and general patient groups. It is appropriate for users aged between 18 and 65 to use the tablet and users’ weight and health are not relevant.

If encounter any of system failure or serious incident in relation to device, please report to the manufacturer or local agent.

Maintenance

  1. Maintaining the Battery
    • Do not expose heat or attempt to disassemble the battery, and do not place the battery in water or in a fire.
    • Do not subject the battery to strong impact, such as a blow from a hammer, or stepping on or dropping it.
    • Do not puncture or disassemble the battery.
    • Do not attempt to open or service the battery.
    • Replace only with batteries designed specifically for this product.
    • Keep the battery out of reach of children.
    • Dispose of used batteries according to local regulations.
  2. Maintaining the LCD Display
    • Do not scratch the surface of the screen with any hard objects.
    • Do not spray liquid directly on the screen or allow excess liquid to drip down inside the device.
    • Do not place anything, such as food and drink, on the screen at any time to prevent damage to the screen.
    • Clean the LCD display only with a soft cloth dampened with 60% above isopropyl alcohol or 60% above ethyl alcohol each time after use.
  3. Cleaning the ATC63E
    • Turn off the ATC63E and unplug the power cord.
    • Wipe the screen and exterior with a soft, damp cloth moistened only with water. Do not use liquid or aerosol cleaners on the screen, as these will discolor the finish and damage the screen.

Please read these safety instructions carefully and follow these instructions for use. Repair of the device may only be carried by trained service personnel. AIMobile recommends that a service contact be obtained with AIMobile service and that all repairs also be carried out by them; otherwise, the correct functioning of the device may be compromised.
WARNING: Because of the danger of electrical shock, never remove the cover of a device while it is in operation or connected to a power outlet.
WARNING ! Do not modify this equipment without authorization of the manufacturer.
WARNING ! To avoid risk of electric shock, this equipment must only be connected to a  supply main with protective earth.
WARNING: Not to position the equipment so that it is difficult to operate the disconnection device. Disconnection device: Separate from adaptor and power code.
WARNING ! When connecting with other peripheral products, it must be a safety product that has been evaluated by standards such as IEC. If there is no product evaluated by standards such as IEC, there may be product leakage current when connecting.

Accessories: Adaptor & power cord. Power cord supports the following three countries: Taiwan/US/Europe, please use a power cord that matches the AC voltage of the power outlet and has been approved by and complies with the safety standard of your particular country.

If one of the following situations arises, have the equipment checked by service personnel:

  • The power cord or plug is damaged.
  • Liquid has penetrated the equipment.
  • The equipment has been exposed to moisture.
  • The equipment does not work well, or you cannot get it to work according to the user’s manual.
  • The equipment has been dropped and damaged.
  • The equipment has obvious signs of breakage. Disconnect this equipment from any AC outlet before cleaning. Use a damp cloth. Do not use liquid or spray detergents for cleaning and keep this equipment away from humidity.
  • These two hooks are not for wall hanging instructions

CAUTION ! To avoid short-circuits and otherwise damaging the device, do not allow fluids to meet the device. If fluids are accidentally spilled on the equipment, remove the affected unit from service as soon as possible and contact service personnel to verify that patient safety is not compromised. Please check the battery if your computer clock is unable to keep accurate time or the BIOS configuration is reset to default.
CAUTION ! Installation is only to be carried out by manufacturer authorized and trained personnel. Regarding calibrating the device, we suggest sending back the tablet to the supplier for annually check.
CAUTION! For disposing of your used product, please follow the national requirement to dispose waste products.

WARNING!
Remove the battery if the device is not likely to be used for some time.
CAUTION! Danger of explosion if battery is incorrectly replaced. Replace only with the same type recommended by the manufacturer, discard used batteries according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
CAUTION!
Where providing safety devices or design in a battery or equipment is not reasonably practical considering the functional nature of the battery or equipment containing a battery, instructional safeguards in accordance with Clause F.5 shall be provided to protect the battery from extreme conditions or user’s abuse. Examples that shall be considered include:

  • Replacement of a battery with an incorrect type  that can defect a safeguard (for example, in the case of some lithium battery types).
  • Disposal of a battery into fire or a hot oven, or mechanically crushing or cutting of a battery, that can result in an explosion.
  • Leaving a battery in an extremely high temperature surrounding environment that can result in an explosion or the leakage of flammable liquid or gas.
  • A battery subjected to extremely low air pressure that may result in an explosion or the leakage of flammable liquid or gas.

Mistreat the battery used in this device may present a risk of fire or chemical burn.
Do not attempt to disassemble the computer or its accessories.
Only qualified personal is allowed to replace the battery. Do not dispose batteries in a fire and check with local authorities for disposal instructions.
ATC63E can only be equipped with standard battery pack with FUCO, ATC-63E- BAT,rating 10.8V 4660mAH Polymer Lithium Ion Battery. Use of another battery may present a risk of fire or explosion.

Battery Charge Notice
It is important to consider the environment temperature whenever you are charging the Lithium-Ion battery pack. The process is more efficient at normal room temperature or slightly cooler. It is essential that you charge batteries within the stated range of 0°C to 40C. Charging batteries outside of the specified range could damage the batteries and shorten their charging life cycle.

Storage and Safety Notice
Although charge Lithium-Ion batteries may be left unused for several months, their capacity may be depleted due to the buildup of internal resistance. If this happens they will require recharging prior to use. Lithium Ion batteries may be stored at temperatures between -20°C to 60°C, however they may be depleted more rapidly at the high end of this range. It is recommended to store ATC63E within normal room temperature ranges.

Ensure that the voltage of the power source is correct before connecting the equipment to a power outlet.

The power outlet socket should behave grounded connection.

This Product is not intent for use by children. This product is not suitable for use in locations where children are likely to be present

The equipment power supply cord shall be connected to a socket-outlet with earthing connection and the power outlet socket should have grounded connection

Never open the equipment. For safety reasons, the equipment should be opened only by qualified skilled person.

This product is intended to be supplied by an UL certified power supply or DC power source suitable for use at Tma: 40 degree C minimum, whose output meets ES1 and is rated 5or 9Vdc, minimum 3 A (minimum 45 W), if need further assistance, please contact Advantech for further information.

Exploring the ATC63E

Before you can use your ATC63E, you must fully charge the battery. Connect the power adapter as shown and leave to charge for:

  •  A minimum of 10H 9m when using the internal battery. Condition: The operation time is based on the LCD brightness at 16%, Battery saver, Idle mode, Wi-Fi/BT/camera/ALS off, Half of max volume (50%).

Installation Procedures:
Connect the male end of the power adapter to the DC-in of ATC63E.
Connect the male end of the power cord to the DC power adapter.
Connect the 3-pin male plug of the power cord to an electrical outlet.
NOTE: Be sure always handle the power cords by holding the plug ends only.

Connecting the Power

  1.  DC-in connection: When the battery is low, connect the adaptor and power cord to the socket, and the device is charging.
    NOTE: Unplug when fully charged. ****

  2. Audio Jack connection: Support earphone only. Connect the headphone cable to hear the sound.

  3. USB3.0 type A: Data transfer only. When using the USB-A cable, make sure to connect right cable to the appropriate connector.
    NOTE: Not support headset function.

  4. HDMI connection: Audio and video transmission. Please use a HDMI cable with a HDMI logo.

  5. USB-C connection: Data transfer only. Use the USB-C cable to connect the appropriate connector.

  6. RJ-45 connection: Connect ethernet cable to the appropriate socket in an environment without WIFI.

NOTE: Incorrect cable connections may result in irregular operation, damage display quality/components and/or shorten the module’s life.

System message

Root cause: HDD PWD incorrect 3 times
Solution: Please reboot and input the correct HDD PWD

Root Cause: try to boot by PXE but no bootable PXE server
Solution: Please make sure LAN cable connected, or please ignore PXE boot (by SSD boot)

Root cause: your bootable device(efi) without sign , and SECURE BOOT is ON.
Solution: Turn off secure boot and use the bootable device with signature(signed). Root cause: once you try to boot by SECURE BOOT ON but failed, you can’t back to turn off SECURE BOOT directly.
Solution: Please turn off system then boot up and turn off SECURE BOOT.

Root Cause: Your system is out of battery (main battery + RTC battery)
Solution: Please plug in adapter (DC in) for a while to charge them (main battery + RTC battery)

Installation with Vesa Mount Bracket

If you would like to use ATC63E with Vesa mount bracket, you can follow the below steps.

  1.  Take off 4 screws in the corner.

  2. Assembly VESA Mount Bracket with 4 screws (Longer than original old screw) SCREW, I,M4,15mm,MACH,8.5mm,2mm

RF exposure statement
