Instructions

IMPORTANT: Read before use.

Note: The recommended HDMI cables to be used in this setup are HDMI 2.0, with a max. length of 5 m (16.4 ft.).

  1. Connect HDMI cable (not included) from your source to the HDMI IN.
    Turn on the connected source.

  2. Connect HDMI cables (not included) from your display(s) to any of HDMI OUTPUTs.
    Turn on the connected display(s).

  3. Connect USB cable (included) from the unit to a 5 V / 1 A USB power source (not included) and power outlet.

  4. EDID Button (Press to switch between the modes):

    • Auto Mode
    • Copy Mode
    • Downscale Mode

The Splitter is powered on

(Auto Mode)

| The source automatically receives and adapts to the connected displays’ EDID information, using the lowest resolution and audio format for all connected displays.

(Copy Mode)

| The source copies the EDID information from output 1. It then uses the copied resolution and audio format as the output for all connected displays.

(Downscale Mode)

| Simultaneously display the 4K input signal on a 4K TV through OUT1 and downscale the same signal to 1080p for a 1080p TV connected to the outputs. (EDID settings for HDR, audio format, Deep Color, etc. will be the lower version that both displays support).
