Manhattan T3•R v2.05 USB Update Guide
You need a USB stick formatted with the FAT32 filesystem and 128MB of free space. Many sticks will be formatted with FAT32 out of the box. However, if necessary please see formatting instructions for Windows on page 2 and Mac on page 3. We have occasionally found some USB sticks to be incompatible with the T3•R. If a USB stick isn’t recognised, please try another one.
-
Use your computer to unzip the downloaded file Manhattan_T3-R_2.05.zip and extract the folder Manhattan T3-R v2.05.
-
The folder contains the release notes and two upgrade files: Copy autoupgrade.cfg and Manhattan_T3-R_2.05_0097.usb to the root of the USB stick.
-
Connect the USB stick to the USB port on the back of the T3•R and wait a few seconds for the USB Update Detected screen to be shown.
Press OK to select Install Update. -
The T3•R will reboot and display the S/W Upgrade – USB screen.
IMPORTANT: Please DO NOT turn off the power to your T3•R during the update. -
After the update is complete the T3•R will automatically reboot. The Software Updated screen will be shown along with the updated version 2.05
Disconnect the USB and then press OK to continue. Tip: After updating you can also check the software version by pressing HOME and selecting: Settings > Information.
