Product Usage Instructions:

1. Initial Setup:

Upon unboxing, ensure all parts are included. Place the coffee
machine on a flat, stable surface near a power outlet.

2. Powering On:

Connect the machine to a power source. Press the power button to
turn it on.

3. Brewing Coffee:

Fill the water tank with fresh water and add coffee beans to the
designated compartment. Select your desired coffee strength and cup
size using the control panel.

4. Maintenance:

Regularly clean the drip tray, coffee grounds container, and
water tank. Descale the machine as recommended to maintain
performance.

1. IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Please, read this manual before using the device. This manual contains important information regarding your safety, as well as recommendations concerning the correct use and maintenance of this appliance. Keep this manual together with a warranty card, cash register receipt and, if possible, carton and packaging material. This instruction manual describes different types of this device. The device you purchased may differ slightly from the description in the manual, which does not affect the methods of use and operation. The manufacturer reserves the right to make minor changes to the device without additional notice which is not fundamentally affect its safety, performance and functionality. There may be some misprints in text and digital notations in the present manual.

IMPORTANT! Important safeguards and descriptions contained in this manual do not include all possible situations that you may experience using the device. The manufacturer is not responsible for damage of the appliance or its parts during transportation, as a result of incorrect installation or voltage fluctuations, as well as when any part of the appliance has been changed or modified.

NOTE There is a label on the device which has all the necessary technical data and other useful information about the device. Use the appliance only for the purpose specified in this manual.

When using this device, a number of safety precautions must be observed. Improper operation by ignoring safety precautions can result in damage to the health of the user and other people, as well as damage to their property.

1. Please read these operating instructions carefully before connecting your device to the power supply, in order to avoid damage due to incorrect use.
2. Before switching on the appliance for the first time please check if the technical specifications indicated on the unit correspond to the mains parameters.
3. In case of power cord is damaged, its replacement should be done by the manufacture or service department or the other high-skill person to avoid any danger.
4. The appliance is not intended for use for physically, sensory or mental disabled person (including children) or for person with lack of life experience or knowledge, if only they are under supervision or have been instructed about the use of the unit by responsible person.

The surface of the heating element will be hot for some time after use. 13. Do not use other attachments than those supplied. 14. Do not use outdoors or in high humidity conditions. 15. Do not place the appliance on or near a gas or electric burner, or in a preheated oven. 18. Do not allow the coffee machine to work without water. 19. To protect against fire, electric shock and injury, do not immerse the cord, plug in water or other liquid. 20. Do not place a hot milk container on a hot or cold surface. 21. The milk container is intended for use only with this appliance. It should never be used on a gas stove. 22. Do not clean the container with cleaning agents, steel brushes or other abrasive materials. 23. Be careful not to get burned by steam during the brewing process. 24. Some parts of the device get hot during operation, so do not touch them with your hands. Use only the control panel. 25. Do not immerse the unit in water. 26. The appliance is intended for use only in domestic aims. The unit is not intended for industrial and commercial use, and also for use in: kitchen area for the stuff of shops, offices and the other industrial places farm houses hotels, motels, rest homes and other similar places by residents. 27. The coffee machine must not be placed in the kitchen cabinet during use. 28. Turn off the appliance and disconnect it from the mains before changing accessories or approaching moving parts. 29. ATTENTION: In order to avoid the danger associated with unintentional reset of the thermal switch, this device should not be powered by an external switch, a programmer such as a timer, or connected to a circuit that is regularly switched on and off by the power grid.

30. Follow the instructions above, including the instructions in the “CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE” section.
31. Save these instructions for future references. 32. If the product has been exposed to temperatures below 0ºC for some time it
should be kept at room temperature for at least 2 hours before turning it on. 33. Do not attempt to repair, adjust or replace parts in the appliance. Repair the
malfunctioning appliance in the nearest service center. 34. ATTENTION: The opening of the tank must not be opened while using the
device. 35. Do not allow liquid to get on the plug of the power cord.

3. APPOINTMENT OF THE DEVICE

This device is a multifunctional coffee machine with the ability to prepare single and double portions of Espresso, Americano, Cappuccino, Latte, hot water. This model of the timberk coffee machine also performs the functions of foaming milk for Cappuccino, Latte and coffee beans grinding.

7. BEGINNING

BEFORE FIRST USE Check that all accessories are complete and the unit is not damaged. Check and understand all the parts and their functions. It is recommended to keep the original packaging for future use. And then follow the operations as below.

1. Before using for the first use, please remove the water tank, milk reservoir, brewer and milk frother and rinse them with clean water. 2. Check and make sure all the removable parts are installed well in position:

(1) Water tank:
Fill the water tank with fresh water up to Max mark and then reassembly it into the unit and make sure it is properly assembled, and then close the water tank lid.
It is recommended to fill the tank with 25 °C temperature water. Max water tank volume ­ 1.5 L.

(2) Milk reservoir: In order to make latte cappuccino or froth milk it in necessary to install milk reservoir: Insert the milk tube into the hole of milk frother at the side of coffee outlet. Move the milk tube from the milk reservoir lid and then insert it into the milk reservoir
lid. Install the milk reservoir and milk reservoir lid well in position. The milk tube can be folded, and please install it firmly by yourself if it is loose.

(3) Grind setting knob Rotate the knob clockwise to make the coffee powder coarse and counterclockwise
to make the coffee powder fine. The degree of grinding is selected between 15 levels via this grinding knob.

NOTE: When the new coffee machine is used for the first time, it is suggested that the grind setting higher than setting 8 shall be selected. The adjustable grind settings range

between 1 (finest) and 15 (coarsest), the number on the grind setting knob pointed by the arrow is the actual selected grind setting.
CAUTION: We suggest to adjust one notch at one time to avoid the damage.
The degree of grinding should be adjusted only during the operation of the coffee machine. Otherwise, the device may be damaged. If the brewed coffee flows out too slowly, it means that the beans are ground too finely and the grinding should be adjusted to a coarser one. If the brewed coffee flows out too quickly, it means that the grains are ground too coarsely and the grinding should be adjusted to a finer level.
(4) Bean box Remove the bean box cover. Fill the box with coffee beans and close the cover.
NOTE: The maximum capacity of the coffee bean box is 200 g of beans. Never pour ground or instant coffee, caramelized or otherwise processed coffee beans, cocoa beans or other objects that could damage the appliance into the coffee bean tank.
(5) Milk frother Press the sides of the coffee outlet cover and remove it. Insert the milk frother to the coffee outlet, gently press it upward Put the coffee outlet cover back.
(6) Adjustment for the height of coffee outlet The adjustable height of coffee outlet ranges between 85 and 115 mm. Adjust the height of the outlet by lifting it up and down, depending on the size of the
coffee cup. If the coffee cup is too big, remove the drip tray. Place the tray back after making a
drink.
(7) Brewer Open the door and check whether the brewer is installed well in position.
(D) Check whether the arrow of the brewer is aligned with the arrow of the upper bracket. (E) An audible click indicates that the assembling of brewer is correct.

(F) The warning indicator Close the door

will light solidly if the brewer is not installed in place.

(A) The whole door and body are on the same horizontal plane.

(B) The warning indicator

will flash if the door is not closed properly.

(8) Inner drip tray and residue collection container Open the door and check whether the drip tray is installed in place. Open the door and check whether the residue-collection container is installed in
place.
The inner drip tray will not be installed well in position, the warning indicator will flash and the machine cannot work if there is foreign object at the front of the residue-collection container.
(9) Drip plate Place the drip plate on the drip tray. The drip plate must be installed well in position
so that the container can be placed on it for holding coffee, milk or hot water. Insert the drip tray into the appliance.
NOTE: The drip tray collects the water from the dispensing spout during each rinse & self-cleaning as well as coffee that might be spilled during brewing. So clean and empty the drip tray everyday.

OPERATION
SPECIAL NOTE: The appliance will perform cleaning automatically to make preparation for operation when it is started each time.
NOTE: The coffee will come out drip by drip at the beginning (2-3 seconds after the brewing is started) and the end (6-8 seconds before the brewing is completed) during the brewing process, this is normal.

Power on and Preheat 1. Connect the appliance with rated voltage and press the On/Off button at the back
side of the appliance.

2. Hold and press the Power switch

for at least 0.3 second and its corresponding

indicator flashes, and then the appliance enters into the self-check status.

NOTE: Please refer to the section of “TROUBLESHOOTING” to operate if there is warning occurred.

3. Place a container under the coffee outlet.

4. The Manual clean indicator illuminates solidly and the indicator of Power switch

flashes, then the appliance enters into the preheating stage and the auto- clean status.

5. During the preheating of steam boiler, the indicators of Cappuccino , Latte ,

Hot water

, Manual froth

and Manual clean flash, which means the

appliance can not be operated. After the preheating of steam boiler is completed,

the functional indicators will illuminate solidly and the appliance can be operated

normally.

6. After the preheating of coffee boiler is completed, the indicators of Single-cup

Espresso , Double-cup Espresso

, Americano

and Bean-emptying

illuminate solidly, and the appliance can be operated normally.

7. All the functional indicators will illuminate solidly after all the preheating stages are completed, and then the appliance will enter into the standby status.
Making coffee drinks:
Brew Single-cup Espresso:

NOTE: After the “Cappuccino” function is conducted, the overheating protection mechanism for the boiler will be activated, at that time, if need to conduct the “Hot water” function the appliance should be rested for about 3-5 minutes and then the “Hot water” function can be activated. NOTES: (1) It is recommended that the temperature of milk should be 5-10, and the protein
content of milk should be at least 3%. (2) The milk filled in the milk reservoir should not exceed the “MAX” mark on the milk
reservoir.
3. Insert the milk tube in the milk frother on the one side and in the milk reservoir lid on the other.

4. Hold and press the Cappuccino for at least 0.2 second and the appliance will start to brew Cappuccino.
5. After finish brewing cappuccino, the appliance enters into the standby mode automatically.

6. Hold and press the Cappuccino the current function.

Brew Latte

1. Place a coffee container under the coffee outlet. 2. Fill the milk reservoir with appropriate amount of cold milk.
NOTE: After the “Latte” function is conducted, the overheating protection mechanism for the boiler will be activated, at that time, if need to conduct the “Hot water” function the appliance should be rested for about 3-5 minutes and then the “Hot water” function can be activated.

1. Place a milk container under the coffee outlet. 2. Fill the milk reservoir with appropriate amount of cold milk.

3. Hold and press the Manual froth

for at least 0.2 second and the appliance will

start to conduct the manual froth function.

4. After finish frothing milk, the appliance enters into the standby mode automatically.

5. Hold and press the Manual froth the current function.

for at least 0.1 second again if need to cancel

NOTE: After the “Manual froth” function is conducted, the overheating protection mechanism for the boiler will be activated, at that time, if need to conduct the “Hot water” function the appliance should be rested for about 3-5 minutes and then the “Hot water” function can be activated.
The capacity of milk container should be more than 160 ml.

NOTES: It is recommended that the temperature of milk should be 5-10, and the protein
content of milk should be at least 3%.
The milk filled in the milk reservoir should not exceed the “MAX” mark on the milk reservoir.

NOTES: It is recommended to use a high cup to prevent the frothed milk from splashing. After each use, if there is still milk in the milk reservoir, please store it in the
refrigerator, but the silicone tube and milk frother should be cleaned in time. (1) Remove the silicone tube and rinse it with tap water. (2) Remove the coffee outlet cover and rinse it with tap water. (3) Remove the milk frother and rinse it with tap water. (4) After finish cleaning, replace all the parts well in position. 1. Place a water container under the coffee outlet.

9. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

CAUTION: Be sure to unplug this appliance before cleaning and let the appliance cool down completely. To protect against electrical shock, do not immerse cord, plug or unit in water or liquid. Please unplug the appliance after each use.

Before cleaning, always disconnect the device from the power supply and let it cool down completely (the heating element remains hot for some time after use).

1. Wipe the outer surface of the product with a soft damp cloth to remove stains, but avoid using abrasive cleaning tools as they will scratch the product. Do not use alcohol or solvent cleaners.
2. Water droplets may buildup in the area above the drip plate or countertop during brewing. To control the dripping, wipe off the area with a clean, dry cloth after each use of the product.
3. The brewer, water tank, milk reservoir, drip tray, drip plate, inner drip tray, residuecollection container and door can not be put into the dishwasher for cleaning.
4. The water in the drip plate and drip tray as well as the coffee grounds in the inner drip tray and residue-collection container need to be emptied and they shall be cleaned well.
