The 3-Year Invicta Warranty.
- Each genuine Invicta timepiece purchased from an authorized Invicta retailer is in its original and tested condition and should only be serviced through the Invicta Service Center during the warranty period per the terms of the standard 3-Year Invicta Warranty.
- If Invicta timepieces are purchased from sources other than authorized retailers or are serviced or repaired by unqualified third parties, they may be subject to alterations from their original condition that are beyond the control of Invicta Watch Group.
- As Invicta Watch Group cannot guarantee the quality standards of an altered timepiece, the above-mentioned standard 3-year warranty on Invicta items will be invalid. In such cases, the purchaser has to rely on the seller’s warranty.
- Invicta timepieces are designed, crafted, and tested for superior quality with a long life expectancy. Should you discover that, despite our rigorous testing, your watch is not functioning properly during the warranty period or after, simply send it to our service center.
- Although our main concern lies in minimizing the time that a watch is in service, our clients need to understand that every watch sent in for service is thoroughly inspected for faults in craftsmanship, material damage, movement-related irregularities, as well as other factors that could have an impact on the overall appearance and performance of the watch.
- When all apparent problems are resolved, your watch will enter a two-week testing period, during which time the accuracy of the movement is observed and recorded day by day. Should your watch function properly after the testing period, it will be sent to you immediately. Should the technician designated to repair or overhaul your watch find it necessary to re-submit the watch for observation, your watch will be tested and observed for one more week.
- Typically, the first testing phase is sufficient for most watches. However, some watches need additional attention. Should your watch be among those few, please understand that our only concern is with the performance of your watch once you receive it back. We appreciate both your understanding and patience in this case.
- We offer comprehensive coverage to repair any failure or breakdown that may occur with the watch movement. We warrant that the movement will be free of defects in material and workmanship. In case of a covered defect, at our discretion, we will repair or replace your timepiece. This warranty does not cover regular wear and tear, such as scratches that may be caused by daily use of the metal band, case, or crystal. The warranty will be voided if the watch has been mishandled or used under extraordinary conditions.
- Opening the watch by an unauthorized third party automatically voids this warranty. Under this warranty, your watch is also protected by the indicated water resistance. It is important to know that you must always keep the crowns and pushers closed and/or screwed in correctly before submerging the watch in water. Not doing so will void the warranty on the water resistance. These above-stated terms and warranty apply only to new watches.
Shipping a watch for service.

Precautionary items and usage limitations
CAUTION – To Avoid Injury
- Be particularly careful when wearing your watch while holding a small child, to avoid injury.
- Be particularly careful when engaged in strenuous exercise or work, to avoid injury to yourself and others.
- Do not wear your watch while in a sauna or other location where your watch may become excessively hot since there is a risk of burns.
- Be careful when putting on and taking off your watch, since there is a risk of damaging your fingernails, depending on how the band is fastened.
- Take off your watch before going to bed.
CAUTION – Precautions
- Always use the watch with the crown pushed in (normal position). If the crown is of the screw lock type, make sure it is securely locked.
- Do not operate the crown or any push buttons when the watch is wet. Water may enter the watch causing damage to vital components.
- If water enters the watch or the watch fogs up and does not clear up even after a long time, consult your dealer or customer support center for inspection and/or repair.
- Even if your watch has a high level of water resistance, please be careful of the following.
- If your watch is immersed in seawater, rinse thoroughly with fresh water and wipe with a dry cloth.
- Do not pour water from a tap directly onto your watch.
- Take off your watch before taking a bath.
- If seawater enters the watch, place the watch in a box or plastic bag and immediately take it in for repair. Otherwise, the pressure inside the watch will increase, and parts (crystal, crown, push button, etc.) may come off.
CAUTION – When Wearing Your Watch Band
- Leather bands and rubber bands will deteriorate over time due to exposure to Humidity & perspiration. Because of the natural materials, leather bands will become worn, deformed, and discolored over time. It is recommended to replace the band periodically.
- The durability of a leather band may be affected when wet (fading, peeling of adhesive), due to the properties of the material. Wet leather may cause a rash.
- Do not stain a leather band with substances containing volatile materials, bleach, or alcohol (including cosmetics). Discoloration and premature aging can occur. Ultraviolet light such as direct sunlight may cause discoloration or deformation.
- It is recommended to take off the watch if it gets wet, even if the watch itself is water-resistant.
- Do not wear the band too tightly. Try to leave enough space between the band and your skin to allow adequate ventilation.
- The band may be stained by dyes or soil present in or on clothing or other accessories. Since these stains may not be removable, caution is required when wearing your watch with items that tend to easily transfer color (articles of clothing, purses, etc.). In addition, the band may be deteriorated by solvents or moisture in the air. Replace with a new one when it has lost elasticity or has become cracked.
- Please request adjustment or repair of the band in the following cases:
- You notice an abnormality with the band due to corrosion.
- The pin of the band is protruding.
- We recommend seeking the assistance of an experienced watch technician for sizing of your watch. If adjustment is not done correctly, the bracelet may unexpectedly become detached leading to loss of your watch or injury. Consult your nearest authorized Invicta service center.
Temperature
- The watch may stop or the function of the watch may be impaired in extremely high or low temperatures. Do not use the watch in places where the temperature is outside the operating temperature range as stated in the specifications.
Magnetism
- Analog quartz watches are powered by a step motor that uses a magnet. Subjecting the watch to strong magnetism from the outside can cause the motor to operate improperly and prevent the watch from keeping time accurately.
- Do not allow the watch to come into proximity to magnetic health devices (magnetic necklaces, magnetic elastic bands, etc.) or the magnets used in the latches of refrigerator doors, clasps used in handbags, the speaker of a cell phone, electromagnetic cooking devices, and so on.
Strong Shock
- Avoid dropping the watch or subjecting it to another strong impact. It may cause malfunctions and/or performance deterioration as well as damage to the case and bracelet.
Static Electricity
- The integrated circuits (IC) used in quartz watches are sensitive to static electricity. Please note the watch may operate erratically or not at all if exposed to intense static electricity.
Chemicals, Corrosive Gasses and Mercury
- If paint thinner, benzene, or other solvents or products containing these solvents (including gasoline, nail polish remover, cresol, bathroom cleaners and adhesives, water repellent, etc.) are allowed to come into contact with the watch, they may discolor, dissolve or crack the materials. Be careful when handling these chemicals.
- Contact with mercury such as that used in thermometers may also cause discoloration of the band and case.
Protective Stickers
- Be sure to remove any protective stickers that may be on your watch (case back, band, clasp, etc.). Otherwise, perspiration or moisture may enter the gaps between the protective stickers and the parts, which may result in a skin rash and/or corrosion of the metal parts.
CAUTION – Always Keep Your Watch Clean
- Rotate the crown while it is pressed in fully and press the buttons periodically so they do not become stuck due to accumulations of foreign matter.
- The case and band of the watch come into direct contact with the skin. Corrosion of the metal or accumulated foreign matter may result in black residue coming from the bracelet when exposed to moisture or perspiration. Be sure to keep your watch clean at all times.
- Be sure to periodically clean the bracelet and case of your watch to remove accumulated dirt and foreign matter. In rare circumstances, accumulated dirt, and foreign matter may irritate the skin. If you notice this, discontinue wearing the watch and consult your physician.
- Be sure to periodically clean foreign matter and accumulated materials from the metal band, synthetic rubber strap (polyurethane), and/or metal case using a soft brush and mild soap. Be careful not to allow moisture on the case if your watch is not water-resistant.
- Leather bands may become discolored by perspiration or dirt. Always keep your leather band clean by wiping it with a dry cloth.
Caring for Your Watch
- Wipe any dirt or moisture such as perspiration from the case and crystal with a soft cloth.
- For metallic, plastic, or synthetic rubber (polyurethane) bands, clean it with soap and a soft toothbrush. Be sure to thoroughly rinse the band after cleaning to remove any soap residue.
- For a leather band, wipe off dirt using a dry cloth.
- If you will not be using your watch for an extended period, carefully wipe off any perspiration, dirt or moisture and store in a proper location, avoiding locations subject to excessively high or low temperatures and high humidity.
When Luminous Paint is used for your watch
- The paint on the dial and hands helps you with reading the time in a dark place. The luminous paint stores light (daylight or artificial light) and glows in a dark place. It is free from any radioactive substance or any other material harmful to the human body or environment.
- The light emission will appear bright at first and then diminish as time passes.
- The duration of the light (“glow”) will vary depending on the brightness, types of and distance from a light source, exposure time, and the amount of the paint.
- The paint may not glow and/or may dissipate quickly if exposure to light is not sufficient.
Important things to know.
- Screw Down Crowns: Many Invicta watches are equipped with a screw-down crown to help prevent water infiltration. This is most common on our Diver models.
- To adjust the date and/or time on such a watch, you must first unscrew the crown before you can gently pull it out to its first or second click-stop position.
- To do this, simply rotate the crown counterclockwise until it springs open. When you have finished setting the watch, the crown must then be pushed in and screwed back in tightly.
- Not doing so will cancel the water resistance of the watch and will void all warranties from the manufacturer. Overall, this process should not require a lot of effort or force.
- Tritnite® Luminous Markers: Tritnite® is an environmentally friendly luminous material used exclusively by Invicta. Tritnite® requires 4 – 5 hours of exposure to light for it to glow brightly in the dark. It will continue to perform with regular exposure to light.
Quartz, Automatic, and Manual Wind Watches.
- A Quartz Watch is battery-powered and does not require winding. Eventually, the battery will need to be replaced.
- An Automatic Watch is a mechanical watch that winds itself and does not require a battery. When worn daily, the movement of the wrist causes the mainspring to wind progressively, eliminating the need for additional winding. To start your automatic, you can hand wind it by rotating the crown clockwise many turns while in its normal operating position (screw-down crowns will need to be unscrewed first), or by swinging it side to side for 30 seconds. We recommend housing an automatic in a watch winder box.
- A Manual Wind Watch is a mechanical watch that does not require a battery, but can only be wound by hand. To wind it, turn the crown clockwise while it is in its normal operating position until you feel resistance. This type of watch should be worn daily.
Quartz, Automatic, and Manual Wind Watches.
What does this indicate?
- Many Invicta watches are equipped with features that go beyond the telling of time and date. These functions are displayed on what are called subdials, indicators, counters, or zones. Your watch may have one or more of these. Knowing them will be useful when identifying which instructions pertain to your watch.
- PLEASE NOTE: Because dial designs and shapes vary, not all subdials are perfectly round, or positioned in the same place.
What does this indicate?
- 24-Hour: often called a GMT or second-time zone indicator, the hand of this counter makes a full rotation in 24 hours, thereby also indicating whether it is a.m. or p.m. It is often coupled with a Sun/Moon display.
- Sun/Moon: indicates a.m. or p.m. through the display of the sun or moon. It is often coupled with a 24-hour indicator.
- Moon phase: this display assures near-perfect synchronization with the lunation period, and only needs adjusting every two and a half years, should the watch never stop in that time.
- Power Reserve: found on automatic watches, this 0 zone displays the hours of autonomy remaining of a movement after it has reached its winding peak.
