Product Usage Instructions
Swivel Mount Bracket (469)
The new and improved “Swivel Mount” from Paradox enables you to mount and
orient a motion detector anywhere on a ceiling or wall surface (flat/corner
mount), ensuring optimal coverage of the protected area. This attractively
designed unit can be used with most of the Paradox motion detectors. For
detectors that do not fit the Swivel Mount, drill holes in the detector’s
plastic back panel to permit mounting.
Installation Steps
- Run wires through the ceiling/wall plate (B) and the detector mounting plate (E). Additional wiring can be run through the auxiliary wiring hole (F).
- Insert the shaft (G) of the detector mounting plate into the center hole of the face of the ceiling/wall plate. Screw together using the ceiling wall plate nut (A).
- For Flat Surface Mount:
- Snap off corner mount flaps (I) and using four screws (not supplied) install on ceiling or wall and screw in tightly.
- For Corner Mount:
- Using four screws (not supplied) install (I) on a corner and screw in tightly.
- Connect the detector.
- Assemble the detector on the detector mounting plate (E) using the two short screws (D) supplied.
- To fine-tune the positioning of the detector, adjust the angle of the detector mounting plate’s shaft (G) and lock it in place by tightening the long screws (C).
