Button Assignment
The REM25 can perform up to six different functions:
- Arm system
- Activate/deactivate PGM 1
- Activate/deactivate PGM 2
- Disarm system
- System status
Configuring Button Actions
Your dealer can modify the button actions using the BabyWare software to
associate them with different actions.

How to Replace the Battery
- Using a screwdriver, remove the screws from the back of the remote control and carefully remove the back cover.
- Push the battery out from under the battery plate.
- Avoid using metal to prevent short circuits.
- Insert the new battery ensuring correct polarity.
- Reassemble the remote control by fastening the back cover with screws.

Introduction
The REM25 is a two-way wireless remote control that allows you to safely arm
and disarm your Paradox security system and receive feedback on your actions.
Button Assignment
The REM25 can perform up to six different functions that allow you to control your system. It initiates communication with your Paradox security system, receives acknowledgment confirmation for your requests and provides the current status of your system. Actions include verifying the status of your system, activating programmable outputs (PGMs) such as lights, garage doors, and arming/disarming your system, refer to Figure 1 for details.
Configuring Button Actions
The REM25 buttons are pre-configured as per Figure 1. Your dealer can modify
the above buttons by using the BabyWare software to associate them to
different actions. For example, re-assign the Arm button from Regular Arm to
Stay Arm.

- Transmission failed or confirmation from the panel was not received.
How to Replace the Battery

Using a screwdriver, remove the screws from the back of the remote control and carefully remove the back cover.
Note: Do not remove or throw away the waterproofing plastic seal from the battery cover. -
Push the battery out from under the battery plate (refer to Figure 2). Avoid using metal as it may cause a short in the board.

Insert the new battery. Make sure the positive polarity (+) of the battery is inserted face down (towards the back cover).

Set the back cover in place, and fasten it with the screws.
Note: Danger of explosion exists if the lithium battery is incorrectly
replaced. Replace only with the same or equivalent type recommended by the
manufacturer and only use only new battery. Dispose of used batteries
according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
This product contains a coin cell battery. If the coin cell battery is
swallowed, it can cause severe internal burns in under two hours and can lead
to death.
