Choosing a Place for the Printer
Instructions for Placing the Printer Install the printer in a location as shown below.
- Secure the space as shown in the illustration. Also, secure a sufficient space behind the printer when printing on a poster board.
- The printer weighs approximately 218 kg. Install the printer on a level and stable surface that can support the weight of ink and paper in addition to that of the printer.
- Avoid installing the printer in a location with steps or on uneven surfaces. When installing a bulk ink solution, secure a flat work area before proceeding.
- Secure a location where a dedicated power outlet is available.
- Install the printer in a location where the temperature is 10-35°C and the humidity is 20-80%. However, if the printer is not used in a location that also meets the environmental conditions of the paper, it may not print correctly. For details, see the manual for the paper.
- Also, to maintain proper humidity, avoid using the printer in a location where it is exposed to direct sunlight or to direct air conditioning, or in the presence of heat sources.
