STARTING

PRORECK introduces its new subwoofer model PR18. This unit was designed to escort any active PRORECK plastic enclosure, harmoniously complementing the acoustic response. You will get deep bass from its powerful amplifier (3000 W P.M.P.O ), enhancing the whole frequency response, giving a cinema effect.

****UNPACKING

Our products are carefully inspected before leaving the factory; however, it is possible for the product to receive some damage during transportation. Make a review when you unpack in order to detect possible damage. Keep original packing box and inner parts in case you need to return your product for service or warranty.

**FEEDING THE EQUIPMENT**

The unit is provided with a polarized three-wire AC cable. Just plug it into a 115 V AC outlet.

TECH SUPPORT

AMPLIFIER

  1. POWER LED

    • Power indicator.
  2. CLIP LED

    • Input signal distortion indicator. Do not allow your amplifier operate with this indicator permanently lit or it will be damaged. Occasional flashes are normal.
  3. PHASE

    • This switch allows phase inverting to facilitate coupling with other speakers.
  4. VOLUME CONTROL

    • This knob allows to increase or decrease the volume control level.
    • SPECIFICATIONS
    • Sound reinforcement equipment for low frequency, with 3000W P.M.P.O peak.
    • 18″ Speaker with 3″ voice coil.
    • XLR, RCA inputs
    • XLR, RCA full range output
    • XLR high pass output (100 Hz – 20 KHz).
    • Electronic crossover (40 – 160 Hz).
    • Phase inverter switch (0° or 180°).°
  5. CROSSOVER
    Internal electronic crossover that allows to set the cutoff frequency from 40 Hz to 160 Hz. We recommend to start with this knob at the center position.

  6. INPUT SIGNAL
    Balanced XLR input and Stereo RCA input. Left|  and Right channels are internally summed in the input stage to avoid losing channel information.

  7. FULL RANGE OUTPUT (ORIGINAL)
    Parallel Balanced Stereo XLR Output. It delivers an exact copy of the input signal.

  8. HIGH PASS OUTPUT, 100 HZ – 20 KHZ (REMAINDER)
    Filtered Balanced XLR output (high-pass from 100 Hz). This signal is to be sent to the Mid – Highly active Plastic Enclosures. Usually a 12″ or 15″ woofer enclosures shall be used above the subwoofer.

  9. FUSE
    It protects the amplifier module against power supply overload. If necessary, replace it with the same current/voltage/time rate.

  10. ON/OFF SWITCH
    Turn on and tum off your unit with this interrupter.

  11. AC LINE

    • Connect the included power cord to this socket and then to an AC outlet (115V, 60 H2). Make sure the AC outlet can supply the required amperage (5A).
