PRODUCT SAFETY NOTICE

Before your riding, please read this manual carefully and observe the following precautions:

  1. Please remember to wear a helmet or other protectors to avoid injury when riding your elec- tric bike.
  2. Please make sure that all parts of the electric bike are properly installed and not damaged.
  3. Please check whether the folded part is locked and the brake system is well.
  4. Before use, please confirm whether the power is sufficient.
  5. Before your riding, be sure to check that the tires are in good condition, inflated properly, and have sufficient tread remaining.
  6. When feeling unwell physically or mentally due to illness or under the influence of medicine or alcohol, please do not ride ebike.
  7. E-bike is designed for only one rider, and never try to ride double or more, or ride the e-bike holding a child or load.
  8. Please do not climb slope over 15°, and do not sharply speed up or slow down on the slope.
  9. Never exceed the 330Lbs(150kg) maximum load.
  10. Do not ride under wet conditions. The ebike may slide from under your feet causing injury. Wet conditions may damage the electronics and void the warranty.
  11. Do not modify the product from the manufacturers original design.
  12. Electric bicycle is only used as a daily means of transportation, and should not be used in extreme sports or other dangerous riding methods. Don’t go up and down steps. Don’t ride on the highway and in heavy rain.

INSTALLATION GUIDE

ASSEMBLE HANDLEBAR

  1. Loosen the screws of handle
  2. Loosen the screws on the side of handle

  5. Install the handle bar and front fork cover

  8. Tighten the screws
  9. Tighten the screws and close the clamp.

Notes

  1. Please make sure the front wheel is fixed in the right position to avoid the serious injury caused by a loose wheel.
  2. 2*Battery keys are included. Please keep them safe.

ASSEMBLE FRONT WHEEL

  1. Loosen the screws.
  2. Align the grooves.
  3. Tighten the screws.

Notes

  • Please make sure the front wheel is fixed in the right position to avoid the serious injury caused by a loose wheel.

  2. Remove the front fork screws

ASSEMBLE PEDALS

  1. The pedals in the package have an “L” or “R” label to indicate whether it should be installed on the left or right side.
  2. To Install the left “L” pedal, screw it counterclockwise by hand, and turn it clockwise to install the right pedal.

ASSEMBLE HEADLIGHT

  1. Use the included tools to loose the screw.
  2. Attach the headlight in place and tigthen the screw.
  3. Adjust headlight position and press the switch button to check whether it works.

BATTERY CHARGING GUIDE

This fat tire electric bike adopts a built-in removable battery, with 2 charging methods: directly charging the ebike and removing the battery to charge. When charging, the charger indicator turns red; when charger turns green, the battery is fully charged.

CHARGING ON THE EBIKE

  1. Remove the rubber cover from the charging port on the ebike frame.OUXI-Q8-Electric-Bike-Adults-fig-17
  2. Connect the ebike with charger and then plug the charger into a power outlet. When the charger turns red to green, the battery is fully charged.
  3. Unplug the charger first, twist the key clockwise to turn on the battery and then press the middle button for 3 seconds to turn on the display. After that, you can check the battery levels.

CHARGE OFF THE EBIKE

  • Remove the battery from the ebike,connect the battery with charger and then plug the charger into a power outlet.

How to remove the battery?

  • Step 1:
    • Push the key in the deep and then turn the key counterclockwise to unclock the battery.
  • Step 2:
    • Press the button to open the clamp.

    • The battery can be removed by unfolding the frame slightly.
    • When the charger turns red to green, the battery is fully charged.

Warm Tips:

  • When the battery is charging, the LCD display automattically turns off.
  • The key is always on the ebike when you use pure ebike mode and padel assisted mode. Please don’t remove the key during your ride. Please keep your keys carefully.

How to twist the key?

RIDING MODES

Normal Bike Mode| Ride it likes a common bike without turning on the LCD Display.

Pedal Assisted Mode| Turn on the LCD display and select 1-3 level speed, then pedal the ebike.
Booster Mode| Press the ”—“button still display shows“P”, then the ebike will move at a speed of 6km/h (3.73miles/h) (based on different road conditions). The Booster Mode can be turn off by the brake.

Notes: Press down on the middle button for at least 3s to turn on the LCD display. The speed and riding range are also influenced by riding style, weight, road conditions, etc.

DAILY CARE AND MAINTENANCE

CLEANING AND STORAGE

  1. If you see stains on the bike body, wipe them off with a damp cloth. If the stains won’t scrub off, put on some toothpaste, and brush them with a toothbrush, then wipe them off with a damp cloth.
    • Notes: Do not clean the bike with alcohol, gasoline, kerosene, or other corrosive and volatile chemical solvents to prevent dire damage. Do not wash the bike with a high-pressure water spray. During cleaning, make sure that the bike is turned off , the charging cable is unplugged, and the rubber flap is closed as water leakage may result in electric shock or other major problems.
  2. Please try to store the bike in a cool and dry place between 50°F -77°F (10°C -25°C). In extremely humid environments the interior of the bike may suffer condensation or even water accumulation, which may damage the battery rapidly. Devices are not intended for use at elevattons greater than 2000m above sea level prolonged exposure to UV rays, rain, and the elements may damage the enclosure materials, and store them indoors when not in use.
  3. Do not put it outdoors for a long time. Excessive sunlight, overheating and overcooling accelerate the battery life span
  4. In daily use, try to avoid recharging the bike after completely exhausting the battery. If the battery is low, charge it as soon as possible.
  5. Please charge the bike every other month to preserve the battery

BATTERY MAINTENANCE AND DISPOSAL

  1. Use the original battery, using other models or brands may bring about safety issues;
  2. Do not dismantle or puncture the casing. Keep the ports away from metal objects to prevent short circuits which may result in battery damage or even injuries and deaths;
  3. Use the original power adapter to avoid potential damage or fire;
  4. Mishandling of used batteries may do tremendous harm to the environment. To protect the natural environment, please follow local regulations to properly dispose of used batteries.
