Back Support Operation
-
Prepare by loosely attaching the compression straps (4) to the main belt, or leave them hanging down freely.
-
Wrap the main belt around your waist with the badge to your right side. Press end of belt at point (B) against your stomach.
-
Pull end (A) over (snug fit, but not too tightly) to connect to the Velcro on belt end (B). The function of this connection is to wrap and hold the belt firmly in position around your body.
There should be no abnormal pressure on main belt Velcro points. If you’re struggling to pull and stretch to connect A & B together, the belt is too small for you. -
Firmly grip both ends of the compression straps (4), pull and stretch them forward together at the same time, attaching them to the main belt. The function of these straps is to compress the belt and the stents (3) firmly against your back to provide the required lumbar support.
You can adjust the level of compression that feels most comfortable by detaching and repositioning the straps.
Don’t stretch and position the straps so tightly that the compression restricts natural blood flow or cause undue pain or pressure to your back.
It’s not recommended to wear the belt whilst sleeping.
FIR Heat Operation
-
Press and hold down the button for 3 seconds to power ON the RAY-D8. The red indicator light is displayed first. This is the highest setting where the temperature will reach 65-70 degrees.
-
Clicking the button multiple times will cycle through the additional settings. For example the next short press of the button will switch the RAY-D8 to mid-range where the orange indicator light appears. The temperature here is 55-60 degrees.
-
A third press of the button will switch the RAY-D8 to its lowest setting where the yellow indicator light is displayed and the temperature is 45-50 degrees.
We’re all unique and each person’s skin tolerance is different. It’s recommended to begin on the lowest setting and not exceed 45 minutes the first session.
It’s recommended to wear over thin cotton clothing. -
To power OFF the RAY-D8, press and hold down the button for 3 seconds.
For safety reasons, the RAY-D8 will automatically power OFF after a period of approximately 30 minutes.
Red Light 65-70°C High Temperature
Orange Light 55-60°C Medium Temperature
Yellow Light 45-50°C Low Temperature
Charging Operation
When the battery has 20% charge remaining, the light begins to flash and it’s time to re-charge.
-
Press and hold down the button for 3 seconds to power OFF
Do not use the RAY-D8 whilst charging. Remove the device from your body and set aside to re- charge. -
Insert the included USB cable (6) into any standard 5V charging adaptor.
-
Insert the type-c interface part of the cable into the charging port (1) on the RAY-D8 (under the button).
When plugged in and charging, the red light flashes.
Yellow flashing indicates the battery is fully charged.
Never store with the battery completely discharged.
For optimal use charge and discharge once per month.
