INSTALLATION

Note: prior to mounting on a wall, pay special attention to selection of the proper screws and screw anchors.
Battery installation
Note: Before connecting the device to external battery, make sure the device is switched off, and the battery switch is in OFF position.
INSTALLATION AND CONNECTION

  1. Before connecting to battery and photovoltaic cells, make sure the inverter is not connected to power supply mains.
  2. Connect the battery. Pay special attention to correct voltage and proper polarization.
  3. Connect photovoltaic cells (pay special attention to correct voltage and proper polarization).
  4. Select priority mode: PV for photovoltaic power supply priority, AC for AC power supply priority.
  5. Press and hold the on/off switch to switch on the device, and connect to AC power supply mains.
  6. Set the SOLAR switch to ON, to enable charging from solar cells. Set the BATTERY switch to ON.
  7. Connect the external devices (make sure the devices are turned off at that time).
Turn on the external devices one by one.

ON/OFF

  1. Make sure the battery has been connected properly (correct polarization, matching voltage).
  2. Make sure the solar panel has been connected properly (correct polarization, matching voltage).
  3. Press and hold the on/off switch for about 3 seconds; the inverter will turn on.
  4. Set the BATTERY switch to ON. Set the solar switch to ON, the device will enable charging.
  5. Connect to power supply mains.

AC priority (AC power supply priority)

  1. Turn on: if the AC power supply is available, the inverter will begin work in AC power supply mode, and at the same time charge the battery as well. If the AC power  supply mains is abnormal or not available, press and hold the on/off button for about 3 seconds; the device will start and enter inverter mode. When AC power supply  mains recover, the device will automatically enter AC mode and start charging the battery.
  2. Turn off: press and hold on/off button to turn off the inverter. The outputs will be cut off, the device will be charging battery and will not switch to inverter mode again.

PV priority (photovoltaic supply priority)
1. Rebooting – in case of solar energy power interruption:
• if the AC power supply mains is available, the external device will be supplied from the AC power supply mains
• when PV power supply recovers and AC power supply mains is available, if the battery level is high enough, the inverter will switch to battery mode (AC power supply  mains at standby);
• Once the PV energy is recovered, and the battery level is not high enough, solar panels will be only charging battery. In such case, press and hold on/off switch for about 3 seconds to supply external devices from PV energy.
2. Turn off: after turn off, the device will not switch to inverter mode.

WORKING PRINCIPLE
AC priority mode (AC power supply mains priority)

  1. AC power supply mains is available: the external devices will be supplied from the AC power supply mains. Solar cells will be charging battery.
  2. In case of AC power supply mains overrun of cut off: battery and solar cells will provide power to the external devices to ensure power supply continuity. If solar panels  energy is not sufficient or not available, external devices will be supplied with power only from the battery.

PV priority mode (photovoltaic supply priority):

  1. During the day (with ample sunlight) and power supply mains is available: solar panels will provide power to loads, simultaneously charging the battery (power supply mains at standby).
  2. During the evening (or when the sunshine is not available), when the power supply mains is available: system will provide power to loads from battery; discharge battery  until battery reaches low voltage protection level; then automatically enter AC power mode and charge the battery till set value (reserved a certain power in case of  emergency situation, but will not charge the battery fully). The battery will be fully charged by solar panels once the solar energy is recovered.

TURNING OFF STEPS

  1. Turn off the loads one by one.
  2. Press and hold the on/off button for about 3 seconds, the loads will be cut off.
  3. Disconnect the AC power supply mains.
  4. Set the solar switch to OFF.
  5. Set the battery switch to OFF. Disconnect from the battery, if the device will not be used for a long time.
