Chromebook Printing
If you want to use the M08F printer with a Chromebook, you need to contact customer service to obtain the extension package and add it to your Chromebook for printing.

Steps to Use
Follow the steps below to use the M08F printer:

  1. Make sure the printer is charged or connected to a power source.
  2. Install the official thermal paper with the printing surface facing down and aligned with the printing port.
  3. Connect your mobile phone or Chromebook to the printer using Bluetooth. It is recommended to connect through the phomemo app rather than directly through the phone’s system.
  4. Adjust the Print Density if the printing is not clear and try again.
  5. For better picture printing, adjust the contrast or use the original print, especially for line pictures with clear outlines.
  6. Avoid using third-party paper as it may affect the printing quality and damage the print head. Always use official thermal paper.
  7. If you encounter a print blank or no word problem, check if the printing paper is installed upside down. If so, change the direction of the printing paper and try again.
  8. If the printer needs charging, use a 5V-2A adapter for faster charging. Charging with a computer or a lower amperage adapter will increase the charging time.
  9. The printer can be used while charging, but it is recommended to finish charging for better printing results.
  10. To prevent fading, avoid contact between printed surfaces or storing the printed paper in transparent bags. Keep the printing paper away from light and in a dry environment. Avoid using oily or neutral pens on the paper after printing.

Other Settings
The M08F printer offers additional settings:

  • Automatic shutdown setting: To set the automatic shutdown feature, click the upper right corner of the app main interface to enter the printer connection interface, then click on personal device to view and set.
  • Device power viewing: To view the device power, click the upper right corner of the app main interface to enter the printer connection interface, then click on personal device to access the viewing feature.

    • Because of the upgrading of our extension now, you can contact our customer service to get the extension package to add it to your chromebook and print.

Power Indicator

  • Lit (Green): Normal
  • Blinking (Green): Charging
  • Lit (Red): Out of paper/ Cover is open/ Overheat
  • Blinking (Red): Low power

Steps to Use

  1. Step 1 : get the new Printer;
  2. Step 2 : go to the app store or Google play to search for “phomemo”;
  3. Step 3: Download and install app;
  4. Step 4: turn on Bluetooth;
  5. Step 5: open the app and log in;
  6. Step 6: hold the ON/OFF button for 3 seconds to start the M08F (the shutdown method is the same);
  7. Step 7: click the button on the upper right corner of the app main interface to enter the printer connection interface and connect with the M08F printer (or you can choose to double-click the ON/OFF button to print out the QR code scanning connection);
  8. Step 8: enter app to start printing

Printer Connection Problem

  1. Abnormal Bluetooth connection: Please restart the mobile phone and printer and connect Bluetooth again.
    Note: You should connect the printer in the phomemo app, not connect directly in your phone’s system.

  2. Sharing of multiple devices: temporarily, the device does not support simultaneous operation by multiple devices. Only one mobile phone can be connected with one printer. If you want to connect with other mobile phones, please disconnect the connected mobile phones first.

Unclear Printing

  1. If the printing is not clear, please try to adjust the Print Density and try again;
  2. When the picture printing effect is not good, you can adjust the contrast or use the original print. The original print is very suitable for printing line pictures with clear outline;
  3. Please be sure to use official thermal paper. The printing effect of third-party paper cannot be guaranteed and there is corresponding damage to the print head;

Print Blank / No Word Problem

The printing paper may be installed upside down. Please change the direction of the printing paper and try again. When installing the printing paper, please make sure that the printing surface (smooth surface) is facing down and aligned with the printing port;

Charging Problem

  1. Charging with 5v-2a adapter takes 2 hours to be fully charged. Charging with computer or adapter below 2A will increase the charging time;
  2. The printer can be used while charging (But we recommend to finish charging and use the printer to get a better printing result);

Print Fading Problem

  1. For the printed paper, the printing surface shall not contact with another printing surface or transparent bag for storage;
  2. The printing paper shall be kept away from light and in a dry environment;
  3. Edit before printing. After printing, try to avoid using oily pen or neutral pen on the paper;
  4. Try to choose the official back glue for pasting printing paper, and some alkaline liquid glue will accelerate the fading;
