Product Usage Instructions
Efficient Hot Water Split Heat Pump Features:
The Midea heat pump is designed to efficiently transfer thermal energy from the surrounding air into water, resulting in significant energy savings.
Main Features:
- – Highly efficient, saving on purchased energy.
- – Equipped with a Micro Channel Heat Exchanger for efficientheat transfer and preventing water contamination.
- – Includes a DC inverter compressor and DC fan for more efficient and precise control.
- – Built-in Frost Protection.
- – Operates within a wide range with low operating noise.
- – Utilizes smart technology for optimal performance.
How it Works:
- A fan draws in air containing heat energy across the evaporator of the condenser.
- The evaporator turns the liquid refrigerant into a gas.
- The compressor pressurizes the refrigerant into a hot gas.
- The hot gas inside the condenser is pumped to the water tank, where it heats the water inside the coil-wrapped tank.
- The refrigerant reverts back to a liquid after heating the water, returning to the condenser to repeat the process.
Frequently Asked Questions
- Q: What is the warranty period for different parts of the product?
- A: The tank cylinder comes with a 3-year warranty, the outdoor unit (Condenser) has a 5-year warranty, and all other parts & labor are covered for 1 year. Additional warranties may apply for Solar Victoria customers.
- Q: How does the Midea heat pump achieve such high energy efficiency?
- A: The Midea heat pump utilizes advanced technology to efficiently transfer thermal energy from the surrounding air into water, resulting in significant energy savings compared to conventional water heaters.
- Q: What is the difference between the heat pump capacities HPT200S290 and HPT300S290?
- A: The HPT200S290 has a capacity of 200L and is suitable for 2-4 persons, while the HPT300S290 has a capacity of 300L and suits 4-6 persons based on typical daily hot water usage.
Make savings appear out of thin air with a Midea heat pump
- USES UP TO 70% LESS ENERGY
Harvest the free energy from our plentiful air to heat your water with the advanced Midea heat pump from Chromagen. This renewable energy water heating technology uses up to 70% less energy than a conventional water heater, whilst providing reliable hot water all day and night
Features
Smart Technology
Heat pumps utilise an ingenious technology to efficiently transfer thermal energy directly from the surrounding air and into the water, and so do not rely on direct sun or fossil fuels to provide an energy source
Did you know?
A heat pump is like an energy multiplier. From 1 kW of power input, it can create over 4 kW’s of output heat. That’s a performance efficiency of a remarkable 400%. Where as conventional electric storage water heaters can only convert 1kW of input power into a maximum of 1kW of output heat.
