PXN V9 Gen2 900 Degree Gaming Racing Wheel

Thank you for choosing and supporting PXN, please read this manual carefully before starting to enjoy your gaming experience.

WARNING — Safety

• When connecting, installing, and removing this product, apply appropriate force. Do not twist or pull the ports and cables.
• Avoid splashing any liquids onto the product or its ports.
• Keep this product in a dry place. Do not expose it to fire, or environments with high humidity, temperature, or smoke.
• Do not disassemble, modify, or attempt repairs on your own. Any maintenance must be performed by the manufacturer, their authorized representative, or qualified technicians.
• Only use accessories/components specified by the manufacturer.
• If this product exhibits any unusual noises, heat, or odors, please cease use immediately.
• If the product experiences abnormal operation or calibration issues.
• Turn off the game console / PC and completely disconnect the base power. Then reconnect the power cable, pedal, and gear shifter, and restart the game console or PC. And then re-enter the game.

Use on PC

• Step 1 Connect the gear shifter, pedals, and other components to the rear port of the base.
• Step 2 Use the Type-C to USB-A data cable to connect the steering wheel to the PC.
• Step 3 Upon successful connection, the default mode is DINPUT, indicated by a steady red light on the steering wheel.
• Mode Switching: In DINPUT mode, press and hold the “MODE” button on the steering wheel for 3 seconds to switch to XINPUT mode. Once the switch is successful, the purple light will stay on.
• Repeat the process to switch back to DINPUT mode.
• Note: When choosing between D-input and X-input modes, please be aware of the compatibility and functional differences between the steering wheel and games. If you have any questions, please contact support@e-pxn.com.

PC Platform Detection:

• Open the game controller interface on the computer to perform functional testing.
• For Windows XP: Open Control Panel → Game Controllers, then click on Properties Test.
• For Windows 7 and above: Open Control Panel → Devices and Printers, right-click on the game controller icon and select Game Controller Settings. Click on Properties Test.

Use on XBOX ONE/XBOX SERIES

• Step 1 Connect the gear shifter, pedals, and other components to the rear port of the base.
• Step 2 Use the MICRO-USB/Type-C to USB-A data cable to connect the original XBOX ONE/ XBOX SERIES controller to the steering wheel’s USB guide port (ensure the controller is turned off during connection).
• Step 3 Use the Type-C to USB-A data cable to connect the steering wheel to the USB port on the XBOX ONE/XBOX SERIES console, then turn on the XBOX ONE/XBOX SERIES console.
• Step 4 Upon successful connection, the steering wheel’s green light will remain on, and the indicator light on the XBOX ONE/XBOX SERIES controller will also remain on.

Use on PS4

• Step 1 Connect the gear shifter, pedals, and other components to the rear port of the base.
• Step 2 Use the MICRO-USB/Type-C to USB-A data cable to connect the original PS4 controller to the steering wheel’s USB guide port (ensure the controller is turned off during connection).
• Step 3 Use the Type-C to USB-A data cable to connect the steering wheel to the USB port on the PS4 console, then turn on the PS4 console.
• Step 4 Upon successful connection, the steering wheel’s blue light will remain on, and the indicator light on the PS4 controller will also remain on.

Use on PS3

• Step 1 Connect the gear shifter, pedals, and other components to the rear port of the base.
• Step 2 Use the Type-C to USB-A data cable to connect the steering wheel to the USB port on the PS3 console, then turn on the PS3 console.
• Step 3 Upon successful connection, the steering wheel’s red light will remain on.

Desktop Clamp Usage Instructions

• Step 1 Place the suction cup into the base slot and rotate to lock it in place.
• Step 2 Rotate the knob of the fixed bracket and insert it into the slot on the steering wheel base.
• Step 3 Slide forward along the slot track and lock in place.
• Step 4 Position the steering wheel on the table, then rotate the fixed bracket and tighten it.

Button Copy Functionality

• This function can be configured in the app.
• Programmable Buttons: Left paddle, Right paddle, Left pedal, Middle pedal, Right pedal, L3, R3, Gear shifter- High/low gear switch, Gear shifter- Handbrake switch, Gear shifter- 1~6 gears, Gear shifter- Reverse gear.
• Mappable Buttons: A, B, X, Y, L1, L2, R1, R2.

Button Mapping Method

• Step 1 Press and hold the “PROG” button for 3 seconds until the red indicator light flashes quickly, then release the button.
• Step 2 Press the Programmable Button, and the red indicator light will flash slowly.
• Step 3 Press the Mappable Button. The red indicator light will stay on, completing the button mapping.

Clear Single Button Mapping

• Step 1 Press and hold the “PROG” button for 3 seconds until the red indicator light flashes quickly, then release the button.
• Step 2 Press the Programmable Button twice consecutively, and the red indicator light will stay on steadily, indicating the completion of clearing.

Clear All Button Mappings

• Step 1 Press and hold the “PROG” button for 3 seconds until the red indicator light flashes quickly, then release the button.
• Step 2 Press and hold the “OPTIONS” button for 4 seconds. The red indicator light will stay on, all mapped buttons will be reset, and the steering wheel sensitivity will return to default.
• Note: Press and hold the “PROG” button for 3 seconds, and release the button when the red indicator light flashes quickly. Pressing the “PROG” button again will exit the editing mode without changing the previous data.
• Press and hold the “PROG” button for 3 seconds, and release the button when the red indicator light flashes quickly, if there is no action for 10 seconds, the editing mode will automatically exit.

Sensitivity Settings

This function can be configured in the app.

High Sensitivity Setting

• Step 1 Press and hold the “PROG” button, release the button when the red LED flashes quickly.
• Step 2 Press the up arrow button once, setting the sensitivity to high. The red LED will stay on steadily, indicating a successful configuration.

Medium Sensitivity Setting

• Step 1 Press and hold the “PROG” button, release the button when the red LED flashes quickly.
• Step 2 Press the left arrow button once, setting the sensitivity to medium. The red LED will stay on steadily, indicating a successful configuration.

Low Sensitivity Setting

• Step 1 Press and hold the “PROG” button, release the button when the red LED flashes quickly.
• Step 2 Press the down arrow button once, setting the sensitivity to low. The red LED will stay on steadily, indicating a successful configuration.

Maximum Effective Angle Setting for Steering

• Step 1 Set the steering gear switch to “900 degrees”.
• Step 2 Press and hold the “PROG” button, release the button when the red LED flashes quickly.
• Step 3 Turn the steering wheel from the center to the left or right by more than 60 degrees.
• Step 4 Press the “OPTIONS” button once, and the LED will become steady, indicating that the current steering position is set as the maximum effective angle.

Reset Function

When the steering wheel experiences functionality errors, freezing, or other abnormalities, follow these steps

1. Press and hold the “PROG” button until the red LED flashes quickly, then release the button.
2. Press and hold the “OPTIONS” button for 4 seconds. The red LED will stay on steadily, indicating a successful reset of the steering wheel.

Mobile Application

• Download the iOS version: Search for “PXN Wheel” in the APP Store.
• Download the Android version: Search for “PXN Wheel” on Google Play.
• Install the “PXN Wheel” app on your phone, then enable Bluetooth and grant the required location permissions.
• You don’t need to pair the device with your phone; just open the app to explore its features.
• Scan the QR code to download the app and view tutorials.

Settings Available in the App:

• Switch steering wheel modes.
• Effective angle setting under the 900-degree mode.
• Program steering wheel buttons in XINPUT mode: such as setting the paddle to Y button.
• Map keyboard and mouse functions in DINPUT mode: customize the mapping of steering wheel buttons to keyboard keys.
• Save custom button bindings for later use.
• Built-in button bindings for various games.
• Pedal linkage light switch and mode switching.
• Adjust steering wheel vibration intensity (0-10 levels).
• Test interface for buttons, pedals, and steering.
