Follow the instructions below to connect your sound system correctly.

STEP 1 CONNECT THE PREAMPLIFIER TO THE POWER

  • Sagita preamplifier has two pairs of power amplifier unbalanced outputs (6) and two XLR balanced outputs (8). Please connect the power amplifier to one pair of the RCA or XLR outputs (6,9). If you are using two MONO power amplifiers, please connect one to the L output, and the second to the R output. Select the source of the output signal by rotating the output selector (2) located on the front panel of the preamplifier.
  • The quality of the connecting cable is important. Please pay attention to the output cable quality as it can have an impact on

STEP/2 SIGNAL SOURCES CONNEC TION

  • Connect the signal sources to the preamplifier unbalanced inputs (7) or XLR balanced inputs (9). Select the source of the input signal by rotating the input selector located on the front panel of the preamplifier (4). To achieve the highest sound quality, use only high-quality RCA or XLR cables. Pay attention to the proper connection and distinction of the right (R) and the left (L) channels.
  • DIRECT INPUT – You can connect the analog signal source (2) and bypass Sagita`s preamplifier volume potentiometer. You can

STEP 3/POWER CORD CONNECTION
Make sure that the preamplifier is switched off. Connect the power cord to the IEC socket on the rear panel of the preamplifier. The preamplifier is designed to operate at a rated switchable voltage of ~110-120 V or ~230-240 V 50-60Hz. Please check the parameters of your mains network, if needed switch to the right voltage using the switch at the back. Please ensure that you have installed a suitable fuse for the desired voltage. Connecting the device to a mains network with incorrect parameters can lead to damage that is not covered by the manufacturer’s warranty.

GET TING STARTED

Make sure that all of your wiring is connected by the information provided above on page 6 of this manual. Set the volume control to a minimum. Turn on the main power at the back of the Sagita preamplifier. (6) After this time the light will turn red. Push the power/selector source button (4) to turn on the preamplifier. Select output 1 or 2/XLR. Make sure the sound source is turned on, select the source number, then gradually increase the volume level by turning the potentiometer.

VACUUM TUBE REPLACEMENT

Power down the equipment and unplug it from the electrical outlet. This step is crucial to prevent electric shock or damage to the device. Vacuum tubes can become very hot during operation. Allow sufficient time for the tubes to cool down before attempting to handle them.

Fezz Sagita Prestige is equipped with two 12AU7/ECC82 vacuum tubes. You can easily change the tube by gently pushing and moving the sideway plexiglass window at the top of the device. You can move it to the left or right side. Carefully remove the vacuum tube from its socket. Take the replacement tube and align the pins with the socket. Gently push the tube into the socket, ensuring that each pin goes into its corresponding hole. Carefully double- check all connections to ensure that the new tube is properly seated in the socket and that none of the pins are bent or misaligned. Once you’ve replaced the tubes and confirmed all connections, close the plexiglass window, power up the equipment, and check for proper operation. If there are any issues, double-check the tube placement and connections.
