Installation

Product Usage Instructions:

Connecting the Device:

  1. Connect the longer HDMI cable from the source to the SOURCE port on the B122-000-60 or B122-000-4K6.

Note : For 1080p (60 Hz) signals, the source to B122-000-60 cable should not exceed 125 ft. (38 m).

  1. Connect the shorter HDMI cable from the monitor to the DISPLAY port on the B122-000-60 or B122-000-4K6.

Note : The monitor to B122-000-60 cable should not exceed 16 ft. (5 m).

FAQ

Q: What should I do if the image does not appear after installation?
A: If the image does not appear, connect a Micro USB cable from the port on the unit to a USB power source such as a computer, monitor, or wall charger.

Installation

Notes

  1. Test to make sure the entire installation works properly before pulling cables through ceilings/walls.

  2. The B122-000-60 and B122-000-4K6 have been designed for use with P568-Series HDMI cables. To ensure maximum distance and performance, it is recommended that you use P568-Series HDMI cabling. For distances over 75 ft. (23 m), 24 AWG cable such as P568-100-HD is required.

  3. Although most installations will not require power, a Micro USB port is provided in the event power is needed. If an image does not appear after performing the following steps, connect a Micro USB cable from the port on the unit to a USB computer, monitor or USB wall charger port, such as U280-002-W12.

  4. Connect the longer HDMI cable between the source and the SOURCE port on the B122-000-60 or B122-000-4K6.
    Note : When transmitting a 1080p (60 Hz) signal, the HDMI cable connecting the source to the B122-000-60 must be no longer than 125 ft. (38 m).

  5. Connect the shorter HDMI cable between the HDMI monitor and the DISPLAY port on the B122-000-60 or B122-000-4K6.
    Note : The HDMI cable used to connect the monitor to the B122-000-60 or B122-000-4K6 must be no longer than 16 ft. (5 m).
