FIRST TIME TO USE

  1. Insert 2 new “AA” batteries into the wall clock, the wall clock will automatically receive atomic clock signal, the tower icon will be flashing.

  2. When the wall clock detects the atomic clock signal, the signal strength indicator will be animated.

  3. Put the wall clock away from interference, such as electronic devices.
    (TV, computer, microwave, radio, etc.)

  4. When the wall clock signal is received successfully, the time and date will be updated. The Atomic Time tower icon will be solid.

ATOMIC CLOCK RECEPTION

  • The wall clock automatically begins search WWVB signal and update the time every day at 1:00 am, 2:00 am, 3:00 am, 4:00 am, 5:00 am.
  • The Atomic Time tower icon will flash while searching and will be solid when it has connected.

Note: To maximize atomic signal reception, place the weather station away from large metallic items, thick walls, metal surfaces, or other objects that may limit radio communication.

4.1 MANUAL RCC RECEPTION
You can receive the atomic clock signal manually. In Normal time display, press and hold [WAVE] over 3 seconds to receive the atomic clock signal manually.
The tower icon is flashing and will start atomic clock reception.
When the atomic clock signal is received successfully, the time and date will be updated.

During atomic clock reception, press and release [WAVE] key over 3 seconds to exit atomic clock reception.

TIME SETTING

In Normal time display, press and hold [SET] over 3 seconds to enter setting mode. Press and release [▲] and [▼/°C/°F] to adjust the values. Hold to adjust quickly. Press and release [SET] to confirm and move to the next item.

  1. RCC On/Off

  2. Time Zone

  3. DST On/Off

  4. Year

  5. Month

  6. Day

  7. 12/24 Hour Format

  8. Hour

  9. Minute

  10. End of Setting

  11. Press and hold [SET] button entering the settings. RCC ON flashes. Press [▲] and  [▼/°C/°F] to set RCC on/off. Press [SET] to select Time Zone.
    Note: If RCC OFF is selected, you will skip Time Zone and DST settings and move year setting.

  12. When Zone EST icon flashes, press [▲] or [▼/°C/°F] button to set a different time zone (EST=Eastern, CST=Central, MST=Mountain, PST=Pacific, AKT=Alaska, HST=Hawaii, AST=Atlantic, NST=Newfoundland). Press [SET] to  select DST on/off.

  13. When DST ON flashes, press [▲] or  [▼/°C/°F] button to select DST on/off.
    Press [SET] to select Year.

  14. When Year flashes, press [▲] or [▼/°C/°F] to adjust the year. Press [SET] to select Month.

  15. When Month flashes, press [▲] or [▼/°C/°F] to adjust the month. Press [SET] to select date.

  16. When Date flashes, press [▲] or [▼/°C/°F] to adjust the date. Press [SET] to select 12/24 hour format.

  17. When 12 Hr flashes, press [▲] or [▼/°C/°F] to adjust 12/24 hour format.
    Press [SET] to select hour.

  18. When Hour flashes, press [▲] or [▼/°C/°F] to adjust the hours. Press  [SET] to select minute.

  19. When Minute flashes, press [▲] or   [▼/°C/°F] to adjust the minutes.
    Press [SET] to save all settings and exit the setting.

ALARM CLOCKS

6.1 CHECK ALARM TIME
In Normal time display, press Alarm】to toggle switch display Alarm 1 and Alarm 2 time.

6.2 SETTING THE DAILY ALARMS
Press and hold 【Alarm】over 2 seconds to enter alarm setting mode.
Press and release [▲] and [▼/°C/°F] to adjust the values. Hold to adjust quickly.
Press and release 【Alarm】to confirm and move to the next item.

  • Press and hold 【Alarm】over 2 seconds to enter alarm setting mode. Hour of Alarm 1 starts to flash. Press [▲] or [▼/°C/°F] button to set required alarm 1 hours. Press Alarm】to select Minute of Alarm 1.

ALARMS

  • When Minute of Alarm 1 flashes, press [▲] or [▼/°C/°F] button to set required alarm 1 minutes. Press Alarm】to select Hour of Alarm 2.

  • When Hour of Alarm 2 flashes, press [▲] or [▼/°C/°F] button to set required alarm 2 hours. Press Alarm】to select Minute of Alarm 2.

  • When Minute of Alarm 2 flashes, press [▲] or  [▼/°C/°F] button to set required alarm 2 minutes.

    LFF LDC542 Atomic Digital Wall Clock - press 2 Note: If there is no valid operation within 20 seconds, it will automatically return to the normal time display mode from the setting mode.

6.3 DEACTIVATE/ACTIVATE ALARM

  • In Normal time mode, press [▲] to select the Alarm1 and Alarm 2 ON or OFF.
  • If the alarm is on, its corresponding alarm icon ( and ) will be shown on the display.
  • Alarm 1 icon is shown on display, it means Alarm 1 is turned on.
  • Alarm 2 icon is shown on display, it means Alarm 2 is turned on.
  • Alarm 1 and Alarm 2 icon are shown on display, it means Alarm 1 and Alarm 2 are turned on.

6.4 SWITCHING OFF THE ALARM SIGNAL

  • When the alarm is ringing, press any buttons except [SET] to stop the alarm signal. It is not necessary to reactivate the alarm. It will ring again this time next day.

6.5 SNOOZE FUNCTION

  • When the alarm rings, press [SET] button to pause the alarm. The snooze indicator icon keep flashing.
  • The alarm will resume after 5 minutes.

LOW BATTERY INDICATION

  • When low battery indicator is indicated on the display, please replace batteries for your clock.

SWITCH TEMPERATURE UNIT

In Normal time display, press and release [▼/°C/°F] to interchange the temperature unit between degree Celsius and degree Fahrenheit.

USE THE WALL MOUNT

  • The wall clock have a table top and wall mounting structure.
  • For the clock, use the recessed hole/holes on at the back of the clock to hang it or pull out the back-stand for table top use.
