Thank you for purchasing the Sunny Days Activity Spiral™! Twist it around a stroller or hang it from an infant carrier to keep young minds reaching with lively colors, patterns and textures that encourage learning with sweet songs, phrases and animal sounds.

WARNING: All packing materials such as tape, plastic sheets, packaging locks, removable tags, cable ties and packaging screws are not part of this toy, and should be discarded for your child’s safety.

GETTING STARTED
Battery Removal and Installation
- Make sure the unit is turned Off.
- Locate the battery cover on the back of the light-up sun. Use a screwdriver to loosen the screws and open the battery cover.
- Remove the old battery by pulling up on one side of the battery.
- Install 1 new AAA (AM-4/LR03) battery following the diagram inside the battery box. (The use of a new alkaline battery is recommended for maximum performance.)
- Replace the battery cover and tighten the screws to secure it.
BATTERY NOTICE
- Use new alkaline batteries for maximum performance
- Use only batteries of the same or equivalent type as recommended
- Do not mix different types of batteries: alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc) or rechargeable, or new and used batteries
- Do not use damaged batteries
- Insert batteries with the correct polarity
- Do not short-circuit the battery terminals
- Remove exhausted batteries from the toy
- Remove batteries during long periods of non-use
- Do not dispose of batteries in fire
- Do not charge non-rechargeable batteries
- Remove rechargeable batteries from the toy before charging (if removable)
- Rechargeable batteries are only to be charged under adult supervision
WARNING: Do not let your baby play with the toy until it is properly attached to an infant carrier or stroller. Do not use in moving vehicles. Do not attach to cribs or play yards. Do not add additional strings or straps. Possible entanglement or strangulation risk if toy is used in ways other than those described in this parent’s guide.

On/Off/Volume Selector
To turn the unit On, slide the On/Off/ Volume Selector to the Low or High volume position. You will hear a playful phrase and a song. To turn the unit Off, slide the On/Off/ Volume Selector to the Off position. -
Attachment Ties
Use the Attachment Ties on both ends to secure the activity spiral to your stroller or infant carrier. -
Automatic Shut Off
To preserve battery life, the Sunny Days Activity Spiral™ will automatically power down after approximately 30 seconds without input. The unit can be turned on again by pressing the Light-Up Sun Button or pulling on the Square Handle.
Note: If the unit repeatedly powers down while playing or the light-up button fades out, we suggest changing the batteries.

Pull the Square Handle to hear silly sounds, playful tunes, and a song. The light will flash with the sounds.

CARE & MAINTENANCE
- Keep the unit clean by wiping it with a slightly damp cloth.
- Keep the unit out of direct sunlight and away from any direct heat source.
- Remove the batteries when the unit will not be in use for an extended period of time.
- Do not drop the unit on hard surfaces and do not expose the unit to moisture or water.
TROUBLESHOOTING
If for some reason the program/activity stops working or malfunctions, please follow these steps:
- Please turn the unit OFF.
- Interrupt the power supply by removing the batteries.
- Let the unit stand for a few minutes, then replace the batteries.
- Turn the unit ON. The unit should now be ready to play again.
- If the product still does not work, replace it with a new set of batteries.
