CARE & MAINTENANCE
- Cleaning It Regularly: Wipe the charger clean with a dry, soft cloth every so often. Do not use rough chemicals or materials that could hurt the charger.
- Look for Damage: Check the charger often for signs of physical damage, like cracks, broken wires, or parts that are sticking out. If the charger looks broken, don’t use it.
- Proper Ventilation: To keep the charger from burning, make sure it is used in a well-ventilated area. Cover the charger and don’t put it in a small area.
- Stay away from water and other liquids; keep the charger away from them. To avoid getting an electric shock or damaging the charger, do not use it when it is damp or wet.
- Temperature Control: Do not let the charger get too hot or too cold. The charger should only be used within the temperature range given in the user instructions.
- Correct Usage: Only use the charger for what it was made for. Do not try to charge battery types or sizes that are not suitable; this could damage the battery or make it not work.
- Power Supply Check: Only use the charger with the power adapter that came with it or one that works with it. Make sure that the energy from the power source meets the charger’s needs.
- Plug It In When Not in Use: Unplug the charger from the power source when it’s not in use to save power and avoid possible dangers.
- Do not overload: Do not put more batteries on the charger than it can handle at once. If you use too much of the charger, it may get too hot and work less well.
- Battery Orientation: Always put batteries in the right way, with the orientation marks (+/-) facing up or down. Both the batteries and the charger can be damaged by putting them in the wrong.
- Watch the Charging Process: Pay attention to the charging process. To keep batteries from overcharging and to make them last longer, take them out of the charger once they are fully charged.
- The charger should be kept in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and out of reach of children when it’s not in use.
- Use in a Safe Place: To lower the risk of fire or damage, make sure the charger is used on a stable, non-flammable surface.
- Periodic Testing: Check the charger’s usefulness every so often by charging a set of batteries and seeing how well they work. This helps make sure that the charger stays in good shape.
