SHARP-SPC1019A-Atomic-Clock-product

Thank you for your purchase of this quality clock. The clock has a built-in receiver that automatically synchronizes itself with the Atomic WWVB radio signal broadcast by the US Government’s National Institute of Standards & Technology (NIST) in Fort Collins, Colorado. The Atomic signal daily broadcast ensures that the atomic clock will always display the most accurate date and time. The utmost care has gone into the design and manufacture of your clock. Please read these instructions and store them in a safe place for future reference.

  3. Set the time and date manually OR wait until the clock receives the Atomic signal
  4. The signal is usually received overnight but it will begin looking for the signal immediately.
  5. During the day there may be interference and that is why the signal is often received overnight.
  6. Once the clock receives the atomic signal the time and date will be automatically updated.

ATOMIC SIGNAL ICON

  • When the clock’s built-in receiver secures full signal strength the Atomic Signal Icon will appear on the display.

  • The Atomic Clock will search hourly. Note: The icon will blink when searching for an Atomic signal.
  • It is strongly recommended to start this clock at night and let the clock receive the signal automatically past midnight.
  • Always place the unit away from interfering sources such as TV sets, computers, etc.
