Connecting to the Power Supply

  • Begin by plugging in the power cord into a standard household outlet as indicated.
  • The display will flash indicating the tune us ready to be set.

Setting the TIME

  • Press and hold the TIME button and the hour digit will flash.
  • Press the +/- button to set the correct hour. The PM indicator will light when the hour is advanced into the PM time.
  • Press the TIME button again and the minute digit will flash.
  • Press the +/- button to set the correct minute and press TIME button to confirm.
  • When setting the time, the PM indicator will appear on the upper left corner of the display when the time is past 11:59 A.M.

Setting the ALARM

  • Press and hold the ALARM 1/2 button and the hour digit will flash.
  • Press the +/- button to set the correct hour. The PM indicator will light when the hour is advanced in the PM time.
  • Press and hold the ALARM 1/2 again and the minute will flash.
  • Press the +/- button to set the correct minute and press ALARM 1/2 button to confirm.
  • When setting the alarm time be sure you are in the correct AM or PM time as indicated by the PM light on the display.

Using the ALARM

  • Press and hold the ALARM 1/2 button to activate the alarm and the alarm indicator will be lit.
  • NOTE: The indicator on the display.
  • Press and hold the ALARM 1/2 button again to deactivate the alarm and the alarm indicator will no longer be visible.

NOTE: The default is OFF setting.

Using the SNOOZE

To use the SNOOZE, press down on the SNOOZE button ( pressing the clock downward) after the alarm sounds will cause the alarm to stop and the alarm will sound again in 9 minutes. This will happen each time the SNOOZE button is pressed.

Night Light

  • Press the clock DOWN to activate the night feature. The alarm clock will illuminate for 10 seconds. Color Changing Light Feature
  • Press the COLOR button to activate the color-changing light.
  • Press the COLOR button again if you want to freeze the color.
  • Press the COLOR button to deactivate the color-changing light.

Sunset Light Function

  • Press the SUNSET button ti activate this function and the light will light up.
  • The light will dim gradually and will completely turn off after 40 minutes.

Sunrise Light Function

  • This alarm clock has sunrise light function where the light will gradually light up 40 minutes before the alarm sounds.
  • Press the SUNRISE button to activate this function once the ALARM 1 is set.
  • To cancel it, press the SUNRISE button.

NOTE : Only ALARM 1 has this function. ALARM 2 does not have this function.

BLOOTOOTH® Function

  • Press the $button to enter BLUETOOTH® mode and “bt” will show on the display, the BLUETOOTH® indicator will flash. When pairing, remain 3 feet from unit.
  • Using the native controls on BLUETOOTH® device, select “SPC284” in your BLUETOOTH® settings to pair.
  • When successfully paired and connected, the BLUETOOTH® indicator will light up.
  • Note the indicator on the display. After initial pairing, the unit will stay paired unless unpaired manually by the user or erased dye to a reset of the device.
  • Use the native controls on the connected BLUETOOTH® device to select a track.
  • To play, skip or pause the track, use the native controls on the connected BLUETOOTH® device.
  • Audio played through the connected BLUETOOTH® device will be heard through the speakers.
  • To adjust the volume, press the VOLUME +/- button on the alarm clock.

Installing or Replacing the Battery

  • Begin by opening the BATTERY COMPARTMENT cover (18) at the back of the clock.
  • Insert (2) AAA batteries (not included) into the BATTERY COMPARTMENT. Makesure the polarity is correct by following the (+ or -) symbols engraved inside.
  • The battery will hold the ALARM and TIME settings if the power is interrupted. There will be no display under battery and the ALARM will sound at the correct time. If there is no battery and the power is interrupted, the display will flash 12:00 and the  ALARM/TIME will need to be reset.

Battery Warning

  • Clean the battery contacts and also those of the device prior to battery installation.
  • Follow the polarity (+) & (-) to place battery.
  • Don’t mix old and new batteries.
  • Don’t mix Alkaline, Standard (Carbon-Zinc), or Rechargeable (Nickel-Cadmium) batteries.
  • Incorrect battery placement will damage the cock movement and battery may leak.
  • Exhausted battery is to be removed from the product.
  • Remove batteries from equipment which is not to be used for an extended period of time.
  • Don’t dispose of batteries in fire. Batteries may explode or leak.

  9. Do not defeat the safety purpose of the polarized or grounding-type plug. A polarized plug has two blades one wider than the other. A grounding-type plug has two blades and a third grounding prong. The wide blade or the third prong is provided for your safety. If the provided plug does not fit into your outlet, consult an electrician for the replacement of the obsolete outlet.

  13. Unplug the apparatus during lightning storms or when unused for long periods of time.

Servicing is required when the apparatus has been damaged in any way, such as a power supply cord or plug is damaged, liquid has been spilled or objects have fallen into the apparatus has been exposed to rain or moisture, does not operate normally, or has been dropped.
  15. Please keep the unit in a good ventilation environment.
  16. CAUTION : These servicing instructions are for use by qualified service personnel only. To reduce the risk of electric shock, do not perform any servicing other than that contained in the operating instructions unless you are qualified to do so.

WARNING:

  • The mains plug is used as a disconnect device, the disconnect device shall remain readily operable. This equipment is a Class Il or double-insulated electrical appliance. It has been designed in such a way that it does not require a safety connection to electrical earth. Do not install this equipment in a confined or building-in space such as a bookcase or similar unit, and remain a good ventilation condition. The ventilation should not be impeded by covering the ventilation openings with items such as newspapers, tablecloths, curtains, etc.
  • All the above markings were located on the external enclosure of the apparatus, except for the label of Date Code was pasted inside the battery compartment. The apparatus shall not be exposed to dripping or splashing and objects filled with liquids, such as vases, shall not be placed on the apparatus.

Caution : Changes or modifications not expressly approved by the party responsible for compliance could void the user’s authority to operate the equipment.

WARNING : The battery shall not be exposed to excessive heat such as sunshine, fire, or the like.
