SHOEI Neotec II Helmets North America
The versatile Flip-Up helmet
As the successor to the very popular „Neotec“ model, introduced at the end of
2011, the Neotec II now offers numerous new features and functions that are
again leading the way in the fl ip-up helmet segment. In addition, this is the
fi rst SHOEI helmet that is fully prepared for an integrated communication
system.
Next to many comfort features and an improved flip-up mechanism, special
attention was paid to safety. By designing a more convex shell we were able to
build the EPS liner with the same thickness around the forehead as in all
other areas. So, even with an integrated sun visor maximum protection of the
forehead is guaranteed.
Compact AIM helmet shell
- 3 different outer shell constructions for compact dimensions
- Ultra lightweight by innovative Shell Moulding Technology
- Wind tunnel developed for perfect aerodynamics
Improved flip up mechanism
- Innovative, two-stage locking system in opened state allows P/J double homologation
- Stainless steel pivot locking system
- Easy to use locking and unlocking slider
Sophisticated aerodynamics and ventilation
The newly developed ventilation system of the Neotec II makes it a perfect
choice for touring riders.
Compared to its predecessor, the upper ventilation has now been designed with
two air inlets, while a third opening supplies fresh air and removes used air
at the same time.
The rear ventilation with its three additional air outlets also acts as a
spoiler for an upright driving position and „pulls“ the used air out of the
helmet through a vacuum.
The second spoiler edge at the rear controls the airfl ow at a sporty and
forward leaned driving position.

Comfortable touring and cruising
The innovative „Noise Isolation“ cheek pads have been developed in the wind
tunnel and additionally prevent the ingress of wind, reduce turbulence and
thus enable a much quieter driving experience.
When the stainless steel ratchet lock is closed, the Neotec II, in conjunction
with the Chin Curtain supplied, offers a very effective downwards draft
shield.
As with SHOEI, all cushions are completely removable and washable.

- In addition, the normal CNS-3 visor is also available in a medium or dark smoke version
Integrated communication
A completely new feature at SHOEI is the possibility to fully integrate an optionally available communication system into the helmet shell. With the Neotec II, a separate, triangularly shaped control unit has been provided on the lower side of the helmet, which is completely embedded in the helmet shell and thus allows, next to strongly reduced wind noise, a homoge-neous appearance of the helmet.
