In case of a gap at the bottom of the shield/visor

  1. Remove a shield/visor from a helmet. Then, remove the 4 screws (2 on either side).
  2. Tighten a screw in the aligning hole situated on the lower portion of the shield base, after centering the screw hole on the shield base.
  3. Tighten the second screw in the aligning situated on the upper portion of a shield base after once again centering the screw hole on the shield base.
  4. Repeat the process for the opposite shield base.

  • Loosen a right upper screw only with a lower screw remaining tightened. Then, rotate the upper portion of the shield base backward slightly and retighten the screw. Re-fit the visor. This should resolve the problem.
  • lf a slight gap still remains after carrying out this procedure, repeat once more. Note. If the shield base is rotated excessively, the ratchet and gear mechanism may not mesh with Gin the rare event of a gap still being present even after the above has been carried out, remove visor and re-center the shield bases to the original position, tighten the screws.
