- Tight – Najell Wrap should be tight on your body. Your baby should be close enough to hug baby close to you. Any slack / loose fabric will allow your baby to slump down in the wrap which can hinder their breathing and pull your back.
- In view at all times – By glancing down you should always be able to see your baby’s face.
- Close enough to kiss – Your baby should be close to you, by tipping your head you should be able to kiss your baby’s head.
- Keep chin off chest – Ensure there is always a space of two fingers width between baby’s chin and chest.
- Supported back – Your baby should be comfortably close to you so their back is supported in its natural C-shaped position. Your baby’s bottom should be lower than the knees to create an M position for the hip.
