HOW TO USE THE BABYNEST TULIP
- When co-sleeping, place the Babynest Tulip high up by the pillows of the adults.
- Take precaution so that the baby’s face is never covered.
- When the Babynest Tulip is used as a carry cot the short end should be closed and secured with the snap buttons, to avoid any risk of the baby rolling out of the carrier.
- Use both handles while lifting.
WASHING
Remove the stabilizing 40 board before washing.
- Dry flat.
- Wash separately.
- Wash in a laundry bag.
All fabrics tested free from harmful substances.
GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS
- Use only on a firm, horizontal and dry surface.
- Only use spare parts supplied or approved by Janell AB.
- Be aware of the risks with open fire and other sources of direct heat such as radiators, gas flames etcetera in direct contact to the Babysat Tulip.
- The handles and the bottom should be inspected regularly for signs of damage and wear.
- Follow the assembly and user instruction in this manual for a correct and safe use of the Babysat Tulip.
- Always use the stabilizing board in the bottom except for when it is being washed.
- Do not place more than one child in the Babysat Tulip at the same time.
- You are responsible for your child’s safety.
- Never leave children that can crawl or roll over unattended.
- Always use the Babysat Tulip on a flat surface with safe distance from height differences such as the edge of a bed.
- That the head of the child in the babysat should never be lower than the body of the child.
- The Babysat Tulip has a mattress in bottom, do not use an extra mattress on top of the existing mattress.
- The Babynest Tulip is intended for a child from 0 months age.
- Maximum weight of the child for which the Babysat Tulip is intended for is 9 kg.
- Monitor your child when using the Babysat Tulip so that the baby is securely placed at all times.
- For low birth-weight babies and children with medical conditions, seek advice from a health professional.
- Stop using the babynest if parts are missing or damaged.
- When used as a soft baby lift fasten and secure the snap buttons at short end properly to prevent the child falling out.
- Make sure that the baby has sufficient space for breathing in the Babynest Tulip.
- Check that the snap buttons are securely fastened before using the Babysat Tulip
WARNING
- This product is suitable only for a child who cannot sit up unaided, roll over and cannot push itself up on its hands and knees. Maximum weight of the child: 9 kg.
- Do not use if any part of the carry cot is broken, torn or missing.
- Do not leave flexible carrying handles inside the carry cot.
- Do not leave your child unattended in the carry cot.
- Never use this product on a stand.
- Only use on a firm, horizontal level and dry surface.
- Do not let other children play unattended near the carry cot.
- When used as a carry cot, the short end must be closed with the snap buttons, to avoid any risk of the baby rolling out of the carrier.
- Your balance may be adversely affected by your movement and that of your child.
- Take care when bending or leaning forward or sideways.
- The Babynest Tulip is not suitable for use during sporting activities.
- The Babynest Tulip has to be used by adults only.
- Use the Babynest Tulip only when walking, sitting or standing.
- Do not use the Babynest Tulip as a car seat.
- Avoid dressing your child too warmly.
