Najell develops products with the urban parent first in mind. When life is
moving fast, simplicity is the focal point that guides our designs. With
Najell Original volume 2 we have made a baby carrier that is easier to use
with fewer settings. It’s easy to adjust between parents so that you both can
comfortably carry your baby close. We have also added the new pure hip seat
carrying option.
We hope that you will enjoy the time together as a growing family. Carry close

ORIGINAL VOLUME 2 – SETTINGS
NEWBORN POSITION From birth to 6 months
SITTING POSITION From 6 months to 3 years
HIP SEAT From 6 months to 3 years
- Tighten and loosen the shoulder straps to adjust the carrier to your body and preferences.
- Loosen the shoulder straps for easy breastfeeding.
- You can transfer the weight between your waist and shoulders by adjusting the shoulder straps.
- Place the back yoke at the lower part of your shoulder blades.
- Neck support can be folded up and down. You can find the buttons on the inside of the front panel and at the inside of the side strap, connected to the magnetic buckle.

CARRYING POSITIONS
NEWBORN POSITION
For carrying in the newborn position use the zipper on the newborn panel to
attach the front panel.
Make sure to remove the booster seat from the pocket.
SITTING POSITION
HIP SEAT
For
carrying only with the hip seat, remove the front panel and shoulder straps
from the waist belt using the turquoise zipper and the booster seat pocket
zipper.
Make sure the booster seat is inside the hip seat pocket.
THE MAGIC OF THE MAGNETIC BUCKLES
The magnetic buckles work just like normal buckles, only easier.
Open the buckle by pushing the turquoise buttons at the same time. Buckle the
buckle by holding one part close to the other and the strong magnet will do
the rest. The weight is carried by the mechanical lock inside the buckle and
not by the magnet.
WASHING INSTRUCTIONS
- Wash by itself.
- Do not tumble dry.
- Wash in a washing bag to protect the buckles.
- Do not bleach

HOW TO USE THE NAJELL ORIGINAL VOLUME 2
Follow the steps below, for pictures see the fold out page at the end of
this user manual.
How to use Najell Original baby carrier:
- Put on the baby carrier like a pullover sweater.
- Place the waist belt at your waist.
- Attach the waist belt buckle and tighten the waist belt.
- The correct position of the back yoke is in the lower part of your shoulder blades.
Placing the baby:
- Open buckles on one side of the baby carrier.
- Slide in the baby from the side.
- Buckle.
- Tighten the shoulder pads by pulling the straps forward. Fit according to your preference.
- Enjoy life!
The neck support should reach the earlobes of your baby, and not cover the
scalp of the head.
Facing outwards:
- When placing your child facing forward, fold down the neck support and button.
How to back carry:
Your baby can be carried on the back from 6 months. Make sure that you can see
your baby when back carrying.
- Loosen the shoulder pads and the waist belt a little.
- Slide your left arm downwards under the webbing of shoulder pad.
- Slide your right arm under both shoulder pads along your body and at the same time carefully move your child around to your back.
- Put your left arm through the loop of the shoulder pad.
- Tighten the waist belt and the shoulder pads, place the back yoke (now in front) at a comfortable position slightly above your chest.
- You are ready!
- Reverse the steps for removing the child from the carrier.
Hip seat:
- Place the belt high on your waist, the seat positioned diagonally on your body. Attach the waist belt buckle and tighten the waist belt.

GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS
- Read and follow the instructions before use.
- The soft carrier is intended for the child from 0 months age.
- Maximum weight of the child for which the baby carrier is intended for is 15 kg.
- Monitor your child when using the baby carrier so that the baby is securely seated at all times.
- Be aware of hazards in the domestic environment e.g. heat sources, spilling of hot drinks.
- Your movement and the child’s movement may affect your balance.
- Take care when bending or leaning forward or sideways.
- Stop using the carrier if parts are missing or damaged.
- Regular inspection of the baby carrier for any signs of wear and damage.
- Make sure that the baby has sufficient space for breathing in the baby carrier.
- Only carry one baby at a time in this product.
- The carer should be aware of the increased risk of your child falling out of the baby carrier as it becomes more active.
- The baby carrier is not suitable for use during sporting activities e.g. running, cycling, swimming, skiing.
- Keep this baby carrier away from children when it’s not in use.
- For children who cannot hold their own head, the child should have support up to their ear lobe. Adjust the height of the head support on the front panel.
WARNING
- Constantly monitor your child and ensure the mouth and nose are unobstructed.
- For pre-term, low birth-weight babies and children with medical conditions, seek advice from a health professional before using this product.
- Ensure your child’s chin is not resting on its chest as its breathing may be restricted which could lead to suffocation.
- To prevent hazards from falling ensure that your child is securely positioned in the baby carrier.
SAFETY APPROVAL
Najell Original Volume 2 is tested and approved according to European safety
report TR16512.
Najell Original Volume 2 was developed according to U.S. ASTM standards.
**WARNING
FALL AND SUFFOCATION HAZARD**
FALL HAZARD – Infants can fall through a wide leg opening or out of carrier.
- Adjust leg openings to fit baby’s legs snugly.
- Before each use, make sure all fasteners are secure.
- Take special care when leaning or walking.
- Never bend at waist; bend at knees.
- Only use this carrier for children between 6,5 lb and 45 lb.
SUFFOCATION HAZARD – Infants under 4 months can suffocate in this product if face is pressed tight against your body.
- Do not strap infant too tight against your body.
- Allow room for head movement.
- Keep infant’s face free from obstructions at all times.
