HOW TO USE THE Sleep Carrier® volume X
CARRY COT
When using the SleepCarrier® the short ends should be up and secured with the cord locks. The cords must be tightened, to the maximum, to avoid any risk of the baby rolling out of the carrier. Before carrying or lifting, make sure both handles are fasten with the handle strap.
PLAY MAT
When the SleepCarrier® is used as a play mat the short ends should be completely extended creating a flat surface for the child. Do not lift the SleepCarrier® when the child is lying on the SleepCarrier® with extended short ends.
SAFETY APPROVAL
Najell SleepCarrier® meets the safety requirements of the European Safety Standard EN 1466:2023, EN 16890:2017 & U.S. ASTM Safety Standard F2050 −19
WASHING
Do not bleach. Wash by itself. Do not tumble dry. Wash in a washing bag.
Remove the sides and bottom stabilizing boards before washing.
All fabrics tested free from harmful substances.
Do not place the SleepCarrier® near an open fire or other source of strong
heat. | Only use replacement parts
supplied or approved by Najell AB. | Do not use other products inside the
SleepCarrier that are not intended to be used in the SleepCarrier, such as
duvets and pillows. | The handles and the bottom should be inspected regularly
for signs of damage and wear. | Follow the assembly and user instruction in
this manual for a correct and safe use of the SleepCarrier®. | The head of the
child in the SleepCarrier® should never be lower than the body of the child. |
Be aware of hazard of hitting the baby e.g. when putting on floor or going
through doors. | The SleepCarrier® has a mattress integrated, do not use an
extra mattress on top of the existing mattress. | Do not leave anything in the
SleepCarrier® that could present a danger of suffocation e.g. non-rigid toys,
pillows… | Do not place the carry cot close to another product, which could
present a danger of strangulation, e.g. strings, blind/curtain cords… |
Overheating can endanger the life of your child! Take into account the ambient
temperature and the child’s clothing and ensure that the child is not too cold
or too warm. | It is recommended to ask a health professional for advice on
safe sleeping. | Always use the stabilizing boards in the sides and bottom
except for when it is being washed. | Do not place more than one child in the
SleepCarrier® at the same time. | You are responsible for your child’s safety.
| Never leave children that can crawl or roll over unattended. | Always use
the SleepCarrier® on a flat surface with safe distance from height differences
such as the edge of a bed. | The SleepCarrier® is intended for a child from 0
months age. | Monitor your child when using the SleepCarrier® so that the baby
is securely placed at all times. | For low birth-weight babies and children
with medical conditions, seek advice from a health professional.| Stop using
the SleepCarrier® if parts are missing or damaged. | Make sure that the baby
has sufficient space for breathing in the SleepCarrier.
