ZYXEL NETWORKS ZyWALL ATP Series Security Appliance

Hardware Installation

1. Use the included power adaptor or power cord to connect the power socket (on the rear panel) to a power outlet.
2. It is recommended that you configure the Security Appliance before using it to protect your network. Use an Ethernet cable to connect a computer to the LAN port (P3 or P4) of the Security Appliance.
3. Use another Ethernet cable(s) to connect the WAN port (Pl or P2) to an Ethernet jack with Internet access. Look at the front panel. The PWR light turns on. The SYS light blinks during system testing and initialization and then stays on when the system is ready.

On-Cloud Nebula Registration with the App

Use the Zyxel Nebula Mobile app to register a Zyxel Security Appliance with Nebula if your device uses a dynamic IP address. If your device uses a static IP address or PPPoE, use Option 2, login, choose Nebula Mode, then run the wizard and configure the WAN.

Where to find the QR code:
Label on the device

• Download and open the Zyxel Nebula Mobile app. Log in with your Zyxel Account.
• Create an organization and site or select an existing site. Scan the Security Appliance’s QR code to add it to the site.

On-Premises Direct Management

On-Premises Direct Management

Use this method if you want to manage the Security Appliance directly using your web browser. Log in, choose On-Premises Mode, then run the wizard.

1. Launch your web browser and go to https://192.168.1.1 or https://192.168.168.1 for Security Appliance (the Security Appliance automatically redirects you to https://192.168.1.1 or https://192.168.168.1). Click Yes to proceed if you get a security alert or certificate screen. Enter the username and password. Click Login.
2. Use the installation setup wizard to connect to the Internet and register the v and/or activate trial and Standard services.
