They are made to last because they are made of polycarbonate (PC) and have an IPX6 grade, which means they can handle sprays and rain. The front light has a 1100mAh battery that lets it run for up to 58 hours in slow flash mode. The backlight has a 350mAh battery that lets it run for up to 25 hours.
