Product Information

The Vallox Adjustment Damper can be used to balance the underpressure created by cooker hood boost and general extraction. PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Vallox Adjustment Damper can be used to balance the underpressure created by cooker hood boost and general extraction. The adjustment damper receives information from the cooker hood about the opening of the hood damper and increases the supply air introduced into the home by the corresponding volume. The adjustment damper closes and opens automatically in accordance with the status data of the cooker hood damper.
The adjustment damper includes the actuator, and Vallox Adjustment Damper 230 V versions can be controlled directly with the Vallox X-Line KTXA and Vallox Delico KTD A cooker hoods without separate supply voltage. The Vallox Adjustment Damper 24 V versions always need an external 24 V voltage supply (either an external transformer or supply voltage from the distribution board).

ADJUSTMENT

The factory settings of the opening and closing angles are such that the adjustment damper opens and closes completely. However, the opening and closing angles can be adjusted.
The air flow is adjusted so that the air volume introduced into the room corresponds to the volume of the extract air flow from the cooker hood. Air volumes are always measured from the terminal device, and the terminal device is adjusted in accordance with ventilation in the Boost mode.
The At home mode air flow is adjusted when the adjustment damper is fully closed. If general extraction from the hood is to be compensated for, the adjustment damper limiter is moved so that the adjustment damper will not close completely.
The Boost mode air flow is adjusted when the cooker hood damper is open. The air flows are adjusted from the terminal device.

When Vallox Delico KTD A is connected to the joint extraction system of a multi-storey building, a smoke limiter must also be installed.
Vallox Smoke Limiter meets the requirements set for a choke that serves as a fire damper(max 42 l/s @ 100 pa).
The minimum air flow is adjusted from the cooker hood damper and the maximum air flow from the smoke limiter.
