SAFETY PRECAUTIONS AND WARNINGS

To prevent personal injury or damage to vehicles and / or the scan tool, read this user’s manual first carefully and observe the following safety precautions at a minimum whenever working on a vehicle:

• Always perform automotive testing in a safe Environment.
• Do not attempt to operate or observe the tool while driving a vehicle, Operating or observing the tool will cause driver distraction and courd cause a fatal accident.
• Wear safety eye protection that meets ANSI standards.
• Keep clothing, hair, hands , tools , test equipment, etc. Away from all moving or hot engine parts.
• Operate the vehicle in a well-ventilated work area. Exhaust gases are poisonous.
• Put blocks in front of the drive wheels and never leave the vehicle unattended while running tests.
• Use extreme caution when working around the ignition coil, distributor cap, ignition wires and spark plugs. These components create hazardous voltages when the engine is running.
• Put the transmission in P (for A/T) or N(M/T) and make sure the parking brake is engaged.
• Keep a fire extinguisher suitable for gasoline /chemical / electrical fires nearby.
• Don’t connect or disconnect any test equipments while the ignition is ON or the engine is running.
• Keep the scan tool dry, clean free from oil/ water or grease. Use a mild detergent on a clean cloth to clean the outside of the scan tool when necessary.
• Our company is not responsible for any damage caused by unintentional or deliberate misuse of our products or tools.

Connection method

• Motorbike diagnostic system: find the diagnostic socket on your motorbike. The location of the socket varies from motorbike to motorbike, most sockets are next to the engine, some are under the pedal cover or under the seat. Use cable 01 and the corresponding adapter cable to connect to the diagnostic socket on your motorbike.
• For the battery diagnostic system: use a separate 16-17 gauge cable to connect the device to the battery.

System diagnosis
Take OBD as an example, after the device is turned on, select “Diagnosis” and press [OK], select OBD, choose engine system or other modes and press [OK], then follow the prompts to operate, engine system includes: [view data] [read fault codes] [clear fault codes] [co idle speed adjustment] [vehicle information], etc. Select “View Data Stream” and press [OK] to view the real- time data stream of the motorbike (the above steps are for reference only, please operate according to the actual situation)

Help

• When a specific brand of diagnostic cable is not available, you can use a generic diagnostic cable and refer to the service assistant to diagnose the motorcycle.
• For example, select “Help” and press [OK], select “AEON” and press [OK], then select “AEON 6PIN” and press [OK], at this point you can clearly see the pin definition of the AEON/BENLLIPRO connector and can use the generic cable to connect the corresponding jack for diagnosing the motorcycle.

SD card upgrade

• To upgrade the SD card, connect the device to the computer using USB, select “Upgrade” and press [OK], select the USB memory card and press [OK], the computer will display the removable disk.
• Log on to http://www.jdiagtool.com/Download the latest firmware update, unzip the folder and copy the Six sub-files (as shown in the picture) to the removable disk, then install it back into the device after copying. The upgrade process will take about 15 minutes, do not lose power during the upgrade process, the device will start automatically after the upgrade.
• (Note: ttyou see NO APP, ERROR, no word displayed on power on, or only 00011 displayed when entering motorbike diagnosis, please downk>ad the latest upgrade package again and upgrade again) 

Motorbike Diagnostic System

• WIFI upgrade

  • Select” Upgrade” and press [OK] to enter the upgrade interface, select” WIFI upgrade” [OK], enter the WIFI name and WIFI password and press [OK], press [F3] to switch the wifi name and password, after successful connection (the device will prompt that it is connecting to the server, note: please do not disconnect the power during the upgrade process, wait for the device to finish the upgrade and reboot automatically).

• One Click Printing

  • Motorbike diagnostic system: support printing fault code data, when reading fault code data you can press F4 to print the current fault code data. Battery analysis system: support battery test, start test and charge test printing, after the test is completed, press “F4” print key to enter the print setting, press the directional key and key to enter the vehicle SN number, press the [ESC] key, you can print the data, (main menu interface press F4 to enter the print interface default print is the last battery test .)

• Quick test

  • Select “Quick test” and press [OK], follow the prompts and select [OK], use the arrow keys to enter the actual AH of the battery and press [OK] to quickly check the health status of the battery.

• Standard test

  • Select “Standard” and press [OK], select the vehicle and press [OK], select the corresponding type and press [OK], then select the required mode and press [OK], follow the prompts, make sure and then enter the actual value of the battery and press [OK] to analyse the health status of the battery.

• Start Test
  Select “Start Test” and press [OK], follow the prompts to start the engine and wait for the device to analyse it after starting to view the current battery start test results.

• Charging test
  Select “Charge test” and press [OK], follow the prompts and press [OK] to detect the battery status.

Signal output

1. Crankshaft signal function: signal type output 58 pulse signal, adjustable engine revolutions
2. PWM signal function: the signal type can output adjustable frequency and duty cycle, generally test two-wire solenoid valve
3. Injector signal function: the signal type can output adjust­able injection times and engine revolutions, professional testing of injectors
4. Ignition signal: signal type fixed ignition time and adjustable engine speed, (professional testing of ignition coils)

Display Image
Select “display images” and press [OK], select the image you want to view and press [OK] to view the saved image.

Injector testing

1. Mode 1: Press the [OK] key, and 1 pulse is output from the signal output line. The pulse width is 250ms.
2. Mode 2: Press the [OK] key, the signal output line outputs 50 pulses. Pulse width is 7ms.
3. Mode 3: Press the [OK] key, the signal output line outputs 100 pulses. Pulse width is 4ms
4. Mode 4 : Press the [OK] key, the signal output line outputs 50 pulses continuously in 1450ms, each pulse width is 7ms. Press the “OK” key again to stop.

Injector cleaning
Select mode 4 to clean the fuel injectors, connect the cleaner, select mode 4 and press OK to clean the fuel injectors.

Injector signal detection

• Connect the signal detection to the signal line of the engine injector, start the engine so that the injector works normally, and then enter the “injector signal detection” function.
• At this point the device can collect the injector signal and analyse its parameters and draw its signal waveform

Relay test

• Select ” Relay test ” function, press OK to enter and connect the main unit to the relay test box via Type-c. The Relay Box can be used with 5 terminal relays or 4 terminal relays.
• Tip: Before testing the relay we should check whether the relay is 12V or 241/, if it is a 12V relay we should choose a 12V battery for the power supply test, for 24V relays please choose a 24V battery for the power supply test.

1. Connect the relay test box to the device via USB-C
2. Find the right hole to enter the relay
3. Press the OK button to start testing.

Sound
Select “Settings” function, press the OK button to enter, select the “Sound” mode and set the sound switch as required. Press the OK button to confirm.

Language
Select “Settings” function, press the OK button to enter, select “Language” mode, select the desired language and press the OK button to confirm.

Module test
Select “Settings” function, press OK to enter, select “Module test” mode, press OK to confirm. The module check includes: LCD check, key check and SD check. Datetime Setup
Select “Settings” function, press the OK button to enter, select the “Datetime Setup” mode, press the arrow keys to set the number, press the OK button to confirm.

WARRANTY AND SERVICE

One year warranty
JDiag Technology promises to provide warranty service for 1 year from the date of original purchase, if this product is pur­chased from an official channel, which must meet the following conditions:

1. The warranty are limited to repairing or replacing new equipment, without additional cost, but need to mention for regular sales invoices or copies of invoices.
2. The warranty does not cover the unauthorized disassembly of this product due to flooding, lightning strikes, or outside repair shops not authorized by the company , The personnel have repaired it and considered damage caused by improper use.
3. JDiag Technology is not responsible for any damages caused by use, misuse or installation and testing. Some countries limitations on the duration of implied warranties are not allowed, so the above limitations may not apply to you.
